We ate at the Preußenschenke several times and were always thrilled by the delicious food. Here the boss is still in the kitchen himself and receives active support from his great team. Special requests are fulfilled and little furry friends are welcome there. Great food, nice ambience and great team. Always worth a visit. 👍🏼

A really great experience!!! The atmosphere is rustic and cozy, so fitting! The food was delicious and plentiful, even for our vegans, the family cooked up something delicious! The service is excellent and very friendly! The price-performance ratio is fair. Highly recommended!!!!

Terrible and rude service. Food not edible and too expensive. You need to allow around 1 hour to order a drink. When you order a cappuccino, you don't get the cake, and you only get a curt answer that you've already told the other guests several times that there's only black coffee available at the moment. It's best to bring your own food and drinks and just don't burden the service staff with work.

There were 9 of us in the family and we all had different food. It was delicious 😋

It was the surprise for us. After a funeral at the New Cemetery and arriving late, we met empathetic and friendly people here. Whether operator or waitress, they helped to process the grief and have a nice end to the day.

I found my food very tasty. And the service was very friendly. Unfortunately, my companion had a slightly different experience. The asparagus was hard and therefore didn't taste good. When we made a comment, the waitresses were no longer quite as attentive. And we had to ask three times whether the price, which is very high, for the asparagus dishes would remain the same. That was too bad.

The schnitzel is unseasoned and beaten to 1 mm dead, the black burnt breading falls off when served and is just as inedible as the hard-fried meat, the "crispy" fried potatoes swim in fat and are anything but crispy. They charge an outrageous 22.90 for this!!! When answering, please do not refer to the price level of the restaurants in the area, as they serve tasty, digestible food for this price. You won't see us again

There were some celebrations that day and we were lucky to get a spot. Despite everything, we were very satisfied with the offer and the service. The food and drinks are very good. The journey was worth it and we would love to come back.

We were there for lunch with 18 people. The service staff was a little behind on the entire visit, but the food was certainly great! Prices are on the higher end but still affordable.

Four of us stopped in for dinner and drinks. It turned out that we were served personally by the boss! Everyone had ordered a different meal and the portions were very well put together and we didn't leave with an empty stomach, the plates just went back to the kitchen empty. If Potsdam and Essen, then only here!

Hello, today we celebrated our son's youth consecration in the Preußenschänke. We had ordered lunch and cake with coffee. First of all, big praise to the entire Preußenschänke team. Everyone was very friendly, accommodating, supportive, warm and very nice. Nicole's organization was very good, a big thank you to you. She responded very well to our wishes. Our guests were very enthusiastic. The food was fresh and very tasty. Here the cakes are also baked in-house, it couldn't be fresher and they're so delicious. A big thank you. We'd love to come back.

Very tasty asparagus dishes and an extremely friendly waitress

Today we went on a Whitsun trip to Sanssouci Potsdam and found this restaurant for lunch. The ambience was good, 3 drinks and 3 schnitzels with fries and once fried potatoes, the price was a cheeky 78 euros and crushed ones🙈. No tablecloth, just wooden benches, crazy and then the lady says who was missing the bottom set of teeth “until next time”🙈The bars must go bankrupt for so much fraud

For €21.90!! My husband got a ridiculous, tiny portion of chicken breast with creamed mushrooms and fries. This food is an absolute disgrace. Not even our daughter would have gotten enough of it. When we mentioned this to the waitress, the boss still didn't come to us for a clarifying conversation or to find a solution. Embarrassing, because all the other guests noticed. Even guests who had just arrived didn't sit here for three minutes and, looking at the overpriced prices coupled with the pitiful sight of our measly portions on their plates, immediately left without ordering anything. The prices on Menu.de are also not current. You can add at least €5 to each meal. We and our entire circle of friends from Potsdam will definitely never come back. The atmosphere seemed unkempt to us.

Yes, yesterday we went back and had a lovely evening with friends. As usual, super tasty home cooking and friendly service. Children have the opportunity to move around and play on the grounds. So if you're on the way to Michendorf or from the motorway towards Potsdam, just plan a stop...it's worth it Best regards

A nice Easter trip ended here by chance - AND - with conviction we give the best possible rating in everything. A cozy atmosphere - beautiful surroundings - delicious food. Above all, the warm and friendly service ensured an “all-round feeling of well-being”. This lady alone makes it worth coming back. Whether the owners also appreciate what a stroke of luck this capable woman (Nicolle ???) is... I used to own a small cafe myself and know what I'm talking about... In any case, the Preußenschenke is a recommended place to eat, drink and relax...

Nothing great, I travel around business trips for 20 euros, I would expect something better on the plate Pork chop, 6 potatoes and some salad.

On our hike we took a detour specifically to stop off here. We were in the mood for simple German cuisine. And we were not disappointed. There was pork knuckle with sauerkraut and potatoes. The meat was so tender that it fell off the fork. Thank you for the nice service and the dessert from the chef.

We went to the Preußenschänke for Christmas dinner. There was plenty of goose, duck, game goulash and roulades on the table. Plus red and green cabbage. Without exception, everything was on point, extremely seasoned and cooked perfectly. The service was also refreshingly cheeky but friendly. We feel very comfortable and enjoyed the food very much. Highly recommended!

Driven by often and finally had dinner. I had a huge beef roulade that lived up to the name. Really big and tasty. All other dishes were also very well received. The service was very friendly and on the go. There is plenty of parking space in front of the restaurant and also a bus stop.

Die anderen Rezensionen können einfach nicht stimmen: Die bestellten Gerichte (Bauernfrühstück und Hühnerbrust mit Sahnesauce) war ok,mehr aber auch wirklich nicht. Die Preise waren heftig und entsprechen zu 100% nicht dem was man an Essen bekommt. Die Bedienung hingegen war sehr zu vorkommend und freundlich.

Kann ich nur empfehlen. Essen war sehr , sehr lecker und reichlich. Einen Besuch kann ich nur empfehlen. Preis Leistung stimmen . Werde bestimmt bald wieder vorbei kommen.

Durch meine Mom lerne ich sehr viele neue Restaurants kennen und jedes hat sein eigenes interessantes Leben. Was ich persönlich sehr toll fand sind die vielen alten Kaffeemühlen die da überall waren. Der Service war super nettes Personal. Das Essen war lecker und auch eine gute Portion.

Es war wieder ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in der Preußenschänke. Nette Bedienung, leckeres Essen (ich hatte die Riesencurrywurst, mega lecker mit Bratkartoffeln, siehe Bild). Übrigens sind erzogene Haustiere gerne gesehen und werden auch am Tisch bedient, wenn auch nur mit Wasser. Vielen Dank an die Betreiber, bis bald!

Essen gut, Preis gehoben aber für die Portionen okay.

Essen lecker da alles frisch zubereitet wird, ein wenig Zeit sollte man allerdings mitbringen.
