Café Bistro by Ömer in Herzberg (Elster)

A lovely bistro located in Kaufland with excellent cuisine. The friendly service, the delicious food, the generous portions, and the reasonable prices are reflected in the reviews.

A colleague and I were away from home on assembly. We dined at Ömer's three days in a row. On the second day, the friendly and competent team knew what our favorite dishes were. When we ordered, we just started our sentence, and the staff finished it with the correct details of our menu request. Short wait time and fair prices. The herb sauce is amazing, simply divine.

We were passing through and looking for something to eat. We then came across the Kaufland in Herzberg and the Döner Bistro integrated into it. I was very pleasantly surprised by the variety of offerings. From pizza to kebabs to grilled chicken, they had it all. The people there were very friendly and helpful. My wife had a spinach pizza, and I had half a chicken with fries and salad. Both were absolutely fresh and delicious. I highly recommend eating there. Thank you very much.

We ate here again recently, only this time it wasn't a kebab but pizza. I ordered the doner meat pizza and when I asked what was on it, the answer was “doner meat”. It bothered me a lot because I also wanted to know the sauce, so I had to pull it out of him and ask what exactly was on it. If you buy this kebab pizza, you should specifically mention that you want garlic or herb sauce on it, otherwise it will be very dry. For whatever reason, it's not normally included with pizza. (It's a shame) Pizza base and size in general for the price is ok if you had the extra sauce on it. There was a lot of cheese on the pizza and somehow everything was shifted in the middle, as well as the extra sauce on the cheese instead of it, a shame. Nevertheless, the taste was great, with the sauce mentioned above.

There are worse ones but also better ones. Sometimes it tastes good and other times it doesn't taste so good. Some of the sauces are also really weak. On my last visit, the hot sauce wasn't really hot and the Hawaiian sauce barely tasted like anything. The taste of the meat wasn't fresh either, but rather tasted old and musty.

I recently visited the "Café Bistro by Ömer" and absolutely loved it! I ordered a kebab plate and the taste was simply sensational. The meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, the side dishes were fresh and crunchy. I particularly liked the generous portion and the loving presentation. The service was also first class – friendly, attentive and quick. The ambience in the Café Bistro is cozy and inviting, ideal for a relaxed meal. Overall a great experience! I can only recommend the “Café Bistro by Ömer” and am already looking forward to my next visit.

One of the best kebabs I've had in a long time. Bread is crispy and fluffy at the same time, meat is not greasy (chicken), sauces are delicious, vegetables are fresh. Nice personel. Ambience just a bit noisy when there are a lot of people shopping. Price top (1€ cheaper than at well-known kebab snack bars) 5/5

What can I say, it's a masterpiece, gentlemen, I've eaten a lot of kebabs in my life while traveling around Germany, but the one you serve is a masterpiece, the taste of the meat is amazing, the vegetables and the sauce are just perfect, the taste is just overall, I've barely eaten an XXL kebab, but the taste of the meat is great, really great . I recommend it to everyone, delicious and nothing more needs to be added

Have eaten there twice so far. Doner kebab is fine. Had a pizza to take away yesterday October 13th, unfortunately the pizza wasn't crispy, it was soggy, it was a shame. Hope this gets better again.

Endlich mal ein Guter döner in Herzberg

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Essen wurde schnell zubereitet und schmeckte uns sehr gut. Der Dürüm war gut gefüllt und schön saftig, ohne durchzutropfen. Die Falafel waren auch sehr gut. Das Essen haben wir im Sitzbereich gegessen. Dort war es auch ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente.

War heute der erste Gast an diesem Imbiss, 5 min nach Öffnung. Die frischen Dönerspieße wurden gerade erst in den Grill gestellt. Der sehr nette Kollege hat sich tausendmal entschuldigt, dass es länger dauert. Ich habe halt ein paar Minuten länger gewartet, das war aber meine eigene Entscheidung. Letztendlich konnte ich nach ca. 15 Minuten meine Frühstücks-Dönerbox entgegen nehmen, im Tagesgeschäft geht es definitiv schneller. Die Box mit Hähnchenfleisch und Pommes war so brechend voll gefüllt, dass kaum die Box verschlossen werden konnte. Geschmacklich sehr gut, die Chillisauße hatte sogar kleine Chilli-Stückchen drin, die Pommes waren sogar noch nach mehreren Minuten im Dipp knusprig. Wer möchte, kann in dem Bistro sehr gemütlich sitzen und vor Ort essen mit Blick nach draußen. Es gibt auch Pizza und Pasta oder halt nur Salat, der Imbiss ist also recht flexibel ausgestattet. Preis/Leistung passt für mich. Weiter so 👍

Waren jetzt zwei mal dort essen. Saucen sind sehr lecker, Fleisch und Gemüse schmecken frisch. Portionen sind mMn überdurchschnittlich groß. Für eine „Dönerbude“ auch sehr modern und einladend eingerichtet. Wir kommen gern immer wieder, sofern Portionen und Qualität dauerhaft gleich bleiben.
