A complete disappointment; the food was simply awful. The veal ragout had a piece of meat the size of a goulash in a margarine, Maggi, or flour mush. Terrible! The dessert, Paris Brest, was a complete mockery. The charcuterie plate consisted of four kinds of super-full-fat salami and a slice of fatty bacon. It made your hair stand on end. What a pity, what a pity, what a pity.
Really delicious burgers – we had the BBQ burger as a combo. Everything was perfectly balanced, and you can eat it easily without it falling apart. A definite recommendation!
I've eaten at Jade Palace several times and will continue to visit! The service is super friendly and attentive, and the food is absolutely delicious. My absolute favorite is the noodles in chili oil!
Everything you'd expect from a Yugoslavian restaurant. Hospitality, attentive service, delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Just the thing for a relaxed meal!
I had grilled cuttlefish, which received a 5☆+ rating; I've rarely had anything so delicious. The schnitzel with lecsó was so-so, the pasta with salmon was okay—I like salt, but it was a bit too salty. The pike-perch from the daily special was delicious (I unfortunately got a small sample). Everything was served quickly, despite being packed inside and out.
Highly recommended.
They even gave us a small liqueur for the journey home—we'll be back.
Once a chimichurri, always a chimichurri: This was our first dish at Mantanga, and we were completely won over. My wife and I visited today for the first time. We are very discerning restaurant-goers, and the tapas were very impressive – compared to other Spanish tapas restaurants: We had croquettes with Serrano ham, beef with chimichurri, empanadas (pulled pork and mushrooms), prawns, cheesecake – muy bien – muy delicacado – muy rico. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Another highlight is the restroom – not really worth mentioning in Berlin – but this restroom deserves a description: a pure rainforest feeling. Plants climb from the ceiling, accompanied by the sounds of thunderstorms and rain. The restroom becomes an oasis here.
We look forward to the next time.
Would be nice if you could add a gluten free beer to the selection!! Us: people with celiac, would be really happy to enjoy a beer and come for that!!:), cheers
