La Bigoudène in Berlin

Es gibt Crêpes mit verschiedenen salzigen (z.b. Rucola, geräucherte Entenbrust, Käse) und süßen Belägen nach Art der Bretagne mit Cidre als empfohlenes Getränk. Hat mir persönlich einfach nicht so geschmeckt von der Essensauswahl her. Wer genau darauf steht ist hier aber richtig.

Diese breton is he Crêperie ist einen Besuch wert. Ich hatte eine Seguin Galette mit herzhaftem Ziegenkäse, Salat und Walnüssen. Als Süssen Crêpe Maronencreme mit Vanilleeis und Sahne. Köstlich!

Viel zu lange Wartezeit, hat sich garnicht gebockt

Essen war wirklich gut. Service etwas chaotisch aber das warvehrer lustig. Jeder hat was bekommen und es ist nicht so Touristen überflutet

Es ist wirklich erstklassige bretonische Küche. Ich hätte genauso viele 5 Sterne vergeben, wenn es ein Restaurant mitten in der Bretagne wäre – stellen Sie sich also vor, es wäre in Berlin.

Wow, absolut empfehlenswert! Das Essen ist wirklich gut und authentisch, Hauptgericht, Dessert und Cider sind super, besonders die Tarte Tatin. Der Service ist außerdem sehr schnell und die Bedienung super freundlich.

Die Crêperie La Bigoudène am Zionskirchplatz ist ein kleines Stück Frankreich mitten in Berlin – warm, rustikal, charmant und voller Charakter. Schon beim Betreten umfängt einen dieses besondere Ambiente: holzige Wärme, liebevolle Details, gedämpfte Stimmen, ein Hauch von Bretagne in der Luft. Alles wirkt traditionell französisch, aber nie angestaubt – vielmehr stilvoll, gemütlich und wunderbar authentisch. Die Küche ist schlichtweg großartig. Jeder Bissen ist ein Gaumenschmaus: knusprig, zart, duftend, buttrig, fein abgeschmeckt und voller Tiefe. Die Aromen tanzen auf der Zunge – herzhaft, rund, frisch und herrlich ausgewogen. Ob süß oder pikant: Hier schmeckt man Handwerk, Hingabe und echte französische Seele. Ein Hochgenuss, der satt und glücklich macht. Dazu kommt ein ausgesprochen charmanter Service, aufmerksam, freundlich und angenehm unaufgeregt. Man fühlt sich willkommen, gut beraten und bestens aufgehoben. Besonders praktisch: Kartenzahlung ist möglich. La Bigoudène ist ein sinnlicher Genussort mit Seele – duftend, warm, köstlich und rundum empfehlenswert. Ein echtes Kleinod am Zionskirchplatz. Wenn du die Schönheit der Welt auf deiner Zunge spüren willst, komm her.

Was für eine tolle Überraschung! Ich hatte diese Vielfalt und die großen Portionen bei Crêpes nicht erwartet, aber sie sind reichlich gefüllt – einer war mehr als genug. Die Galette war superlecker und frisch (die Kombination mit Walnüssen, Gemüse und Käse war ein Traum) und insgesamt perfekt für Brunch oder sogar Abendessen. Der Service ist auch super – schnell, freundlich und unkompliziert. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder 🙏

Sehr leckere Crepes, vor allem die salzigen. Leider gibt es nicht so viele vegetarische Optionen und es ist relativ teuer. Ambiente ist richtig angenehm und die Kellner sind auch sehr freundlich.

Eine wirklich schreckliche Erfahrung. Wir, eine Gruppe von sechs Personen, darunter ein zweijähriges Kind, kamen um 22:10 Uhr an, nachdem wir die Öffnungszeiten auf Google überprüft hatten. Dort stand, dass das Lokal bis 23:00 Uhr geöffnet sei (wie auf dem Bild zu sehen). Als wir ankamen, weigerte sich der Kellner, uns zu platzieren, mit der Begründung, die Küche sei bereits geschlossen. Auf Google steht nirgends, dass die Küche 60 Minuten früher schließt – eine merkwürdige Vorgehensweise. Wir wiesen darauf hin, aber anstatt sich zu entschuldigen oder das Problem anzuerkennen, wurde uns gesagt, wir hätten auf der Website nachsehen sollen. Ich finde es absurd, dass man als Kunde mehrere Quellen konsultieren muss, nur um eine Crêpe zu bekommen – insbesondere für ein Lokal, das eher durchschnittliche Crêpes serviert (kein Sternerestaurant) und seine Küche eine ganze Stunde früher schließt. Null Flexibilität, keinerlei Kundenservice und ein äußerst unprofessionelles Management, vor allem angesichts der Anwesenheit eines kleinen Kindes. Eine furchtbare Erfahrung. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen und können das Lokal nicht empfehlen.

Es war ein sehr gutes Abendessen. Alles war unglaublich lecker. Ich kann auch den französischen Cidre empfehlen, er war köstlich. Das Lokal ist innen richtig gemütlich. Nur eins: Ich empfehle, vorher zu reservieren, da sie anscheinend nur mit Reservierung arbeiten. Aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Nahezu original - es fehlen nur die wirklich hervorragenden Apfelsäfte, die man in der Bretagne in Flaschen bekommt 🤷🏻‍♂️ Aber das schein in B nicht zu gehen. Sonst: netter Service, bisserl verpeilt zuweilen, aber durchweg sympathisch. Galettes durchweg fein, gutes Angebot an Cidres, feine bretonische Wurst. Der Kaffee hat noch Luft nach oben - aber es soll ja die Sehnsucht nach der veritablen Bretagne bleiben 😎 Passt - gerne wieder 🙏

So lecker! Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und sind begeistert! Die Auswahl ist groß, der Geschmack ein Traum! Für jeden was dabei, süß, herzhaft, mit/ ohne Buchweizen. Köstliche Galettes, die sind bestimmt authentisch! Für den Preis sind sie riesig, außerdem ist es ein sehr gemütliches Lokal mit nettem Service.

Wirklich köstliche Crêpes – dank hochwertiger Zutaten sogar besser als in den meisten anderen Lokalen der Bretagne. Guter Service, auch Französisch wird gesprochen. Herrlich gemütliche und warme Atmosphäre.

Als Bretonin/Normandin kenne ich Buchweizen-Crêpes. Die hier sind genauso gut wie die, die ich als kleines Mädchen bei meiner Großmutter gegessen habe. Es ist wunderbar, eine gute Crêperie in der Nähe zu haben.

A fantastic crêperie in Berlin! The galettes are delicious, the sweet crêpes perfect, and the prices very reasonable. The atmosphere is warm and friendly — it almost feels like being in Brittany. A real little gem, highly recommended!

Our "trip to Brittany" was a delight. Friendly service, and even our little dog was provided with water. We'd love to go back!

A restaurant with a real identity, having been there several times: when the owner is there, the welcome is warmer. When he is absent, it is felt a little in the slightly less cheerful vibe on site. A small downside is the dough that is sometimes a little dry, even if the ingredients are always delicious and the setting very pleasant. It remains by far the best of the crêperies tested in Berlin so far.

What a wonderful place. This is a true creperie. The true quality and ingredients are obvious. The decor is very authentic. I felt like I was in a a French restaurant. The staff speak French and English. We arrived on a Monday night without a reservation, but they accommodated us. I had the gallette, with walnuts and dried ham. It was wonderful. I highly recommend it. I will return to this place next time I'm in Berlin.

Pretty good food and the duck wasn’t heavy or too fatty like it sometimes is. Combination with goat cheese and dried plums really one of a kind.

A superbly located Breton restaurant on Zionskirchplatz in Berlin. Great for both indoor and outdoor seating. Delicious gallettes and crêpes. Friendly service. When it's busy, you might have to wait a bit for the gallette...

Its setting next to Zionskirche is charming. The dishes and drinks were excellent. Special mention to the professionalism of the service. Everything is served in the order in which guests sit and order. There were five people at our table next to us, and all their dishes arrived at the same time. Congratulations!

I went there on a recommendation and have been there every two months since. Very, very tasty and beautifully decorated. Highly recommended!

Delicious savoury options and dessert crepes

Unfortunately, they were overwhelmed with three tables. We weren't even offered a table for drinks. Friendly service is at least as important as the food. However, we'll gladly forgo another visit. There are plenty of great alternatives in Berlin.

Galettes, crepes, cider, beer. Everything is wonderfully authentic. Even the small, exquisite kitchen could really be located in Brittany. It's cozy, and the service is attentive and friendly. We'll be back whenever we miss Brittany. Simply great?

It’s 100% authentic pretty sure the owner is from Bretagne. Also, they serve the traditional andouille sausage from that area. Whether it’s sweet or savory there is a galette/crepe for everyone. Service is nice and welcoming but on a busy weekend night expect the service to be slow. As there aren’t that much staff. Recommend if you want traditional and proper galette.

We loved the crepes and the atmosphere. The server was also charming and friendly :) I especially recommend the crepe tatin. The tea came in a small pot and was already at the perfect drinking temperature.

Very good Saracen crepes, even better than the ones I had in Versailles. An experience to be repeated. Unfortunately, the team was understaffed. We had to wait a long time to be served. Despite the lack of management, the server and the kitchen staff managed to remain calm and cheerful towards the customers.

Tasty and, as far as I can tell, authentic galette in many kinds and variations. Might be a bit stupid to say, but having French waiter adds to the authentic feeling. Lovely choice of French drinks as well.

Food was okay, service not so great. The waitress wasn't really in the mood and turned away two people in front of us, despite a free table visible from outside. Me too. When my companion and I wanted to sit at a free table outside, she invited us to the free table inside, which didn't have a reservation anyway, and said something incomprehensible like, "Sorry, I didn't know..." Random. But she must have realized that climbing the stairs outside in the cold and serving would have been harder. 🤷‍♀️

The name of the establishment refers to the Breton Bigoudène, a traditional headgear worn in the Bigoudenland region in southwest Brittany. Excellent crispy buckwheat galettes. However, sharper knives would make consumption much easier.

Lovely and cosey place. We ordered crepes. One salty and two sweet. They were amazing. Loved the way the different tastes and aromas blended together. I would absolutely recommend this place

I recently returned to this restaurant after many years, and I was quite disappointed. The galettes, while priced at a premium, were just average. The flavors were bland, and the portions were small—definitely not filling. Additionally, charging €7 for a bottle of water is excessive. Branding yourself as authentically French shouldn’t justify such a steep markup. Overall, the experience did not live up to the high prices.

Very nice restaurant. Service very committed, with French/Berlin charm. Galette crispy and delicious. We had classic and goat cheese;walnut. Both very tasty. In the summer you can sit outside and it's also very nice inside. Be sure to try the cider.

A great restaurant: the decor is nice, the pancakes and crepes are excellent and the staff is great, very welcoming and smiling! I recommend the Forestière which is succulent! 😊

We sat immediately, the place was almost empty and the service was effective. The crepes were mushy, my suzette was soaked in liquor. The galette were also not great but the wine was really good.

They seem to hate poor people and illegal immigrants. One of these "card only" places where the hosts think that they can make up their own rules. Pity because the food is pretty ok.

We came for a stag do, the evening was unforgettable. The atmosphere, service and cuisine are great! The Savoyard crepe is fabulous, a beautiful regional alliance! We recommend without hesitation!

I arrived late, the welcome was nevertheless friendly, the chef came out to deliver my dish to the table with the little note that goes well. French-oriented restaurant near Zionskirchplatz. Nice location. Limited space inside and outside. Gluten-free buckwheat-based galettes. Tasty, but quite expensive for small portions. Portion not filling if hungry. Although there is a relatively large selection, there is only one vegan option. The basic ingredient was missing today and there was initially little flexibility to offer an alternative, but in the end it worked. Service staff not very warm and not very attentive. Despite few guests, the staff seemed stressed and was more concerned with themselves than with the guests. The teapot and cup were not washed clean.

So first of all - we “only” ate crêpes, and of course you won’t get full from them. The service was very friendly, French and alternatively English were spoken. The ambience is extremely nice. The crepes were very tasty, there also seems to be an emphasis on seasonal and, if possible, regional (honey from the Zion Church right opposite, for example) You could only pay by card. We had a very cozy and pleasant time in the bistro.

One point is deducted for the thin staff (sometimes you wait a long time for your order to be taken and for new drinks or desserts to be asked), but the restaurant probably can't do anything about that in the current situation. Truly one of my favorite places to eat in Berlin, and I come often! It's consistently very good - with a cozy ambiance, delicious food, and reasonable prices for the quality. Had the one with blue cheese sauce, walnuts and ham on my last visit and it was superb! Highly recommended, and you'll have a nice experience here. Interesting selection of ciders too!
