Suzette crêperie in Berlin

Wir sind zufällig auf diesen Laden gestoßen, als wir einen Geldautomaten suchten. Wir waren angenehm überrascht. Wir bestellten einen süßen Crêpe, und es war der beste Crêpe, den ich je gegessen habe. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und sprachen Englisch. Ein echter Glücksgriff! Wir können ihn wärmstens empfehlen. Fantastisch!

Ein kleines, aber feines Lokal auf der Pappelallee, wo es ganz fantastisch leckere Crepes in allen Variationen gibt. Süß oder herzhaft - alles ist vertreten. Dazu ein Cidre und Salat … ein wohltuender Kontrapunkt zu dem Burger-Asia-Einheitsbrei in der Nachbarschaft… Ergänzt werden die leckeren Speisen durch einen freundlich-diskreten Service des Besitzers… Alles in allem wirklich zu empfehlen!

Absolut empfehlenswert, besonders für Tim-und-Struppi-Fans! Die besten Crêpes in ganz Berlin. Es erinnert an die wunderschöne Bretagne.

Die knusprigen frischen Galettes sind hervorragend, und es gibt ein tolles Lunch Angebot mit Salat und Getränk (auch extrem guter Cidre!) inklusive. Ich mag die ruhige entspannte Atmosphäre in dem Laden und den freundlichen Kellner, ich komme immer wieder gerne ☺️

Der trockene Apfelwein war köstlich und die Crêpe von La Savoyarde einfach unglaublich.

Ein kleiner Laden, geführt von zwei bretonischen Crepemeistern, die Uhr Handwerk wirklich verstehen. Die Savoiarde und die Suzette de Suzette waren eine Offenbarung. Die Porigkeit des Teigs, der Bräunungsgrad, die Mischung zwischen Knusprigkeit und Saftigkeit. Das Ganze zusammen mit der fein abgestimmten Komposition der Zutaten: Es hat Spass gemacht, die Gallettes und Crepes zu genießen. Wir kommen wieder.

Es ist immer wieder ein absolutes Vergnügen, hier zu essen, und ein Muss, wann immer ich in Berlin bin.

Mein Verlobter und ich besuchten das Restaurant extra, weil wir beide glutenintolerant sind und uns sehr auf das Konzept gefreut hatten. Leider war der Besuch sehr enttäuschend. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants fühlten wir uns unwillkommen. Obwohl wir ohne Reservierung kamen und das Restaurant nur halb voll war, hatten wir das Gefühl, zu stören, nur weil wir nach einem Platz fragten. Das war der Vorbote für den Rest des Abends. Der Kellner war durchweg unfreundlich, wies unsere Fragen ab und zeigte sich sichtlich zurückhaltend. Für ein Restaurant, das sich an Gäste mit besonderen Ernährungsbedürfnissen richtet und in dem Kommunikation und Aufmerksamkeit wirklich wichtig sind, ist das ein gravierendes Problem. Wären wir nicht so neugierig auf das Essen gewesen, wäre das Grund genug gewesen, wieder zu gehen. Zum Essen selbst: Es war in Ordnung. Nicht schlecht, aber nichts Besonderes. Für Gäste mit Glutenunverträglichkeit ist es jedoch problematisch, wenn man nicht ausdrücklich und wiederholt darauf hinweist, dass man glutenfrei essen möchte. Das Personal wird nicht proaktiv darauf eingehen. Wir hatten unsere Ernährungsbedürfnisse zwar besprochen, aber es schien, als ob diese Information nicht angekommen wäre. Das Personal wirkte eher wie im Autopilotmodus, als dass es den Kunden wirklich zuhörte. Hinzu kommen die praktischen Probleme: Nur Barzahlung. Keine Kartenzahlung. Keine ordentlichen Quittungen: Wir mussten eine anfordern und dem Personal anschließend erklären, was laut Gesetz darauf stehen muss. Ob dies den örtlichen Verbraucherschutzgesetzen entspricht, ist fraglich. Es gibt andere Lokale in der Gegend, die freundlicheren Service und besseres Essen bieten. Das Konzept ist gut, aber das Lokal muss dringend in Mitarbeiterschulungen und grundlegende Geschäftspraktiken investieren, um sein Potenzial auszuschöpfen.

Fantastische bretonische Crêperie, die mich an die Bretagne erinnert. Angenehme Atmosphäre und superfreundliches Personal. Abwechslungsreiche und preiswerte Speisekarte mit süßen und herzhaften Leckereien. Die Weine und Cider sind ausgezeichnet. Großer Tisch für 12 Personen, ideal für Treffen mit Freunden.

Ein Hauch von Bretagne weht durch die Pappelallee. Sooo lecker. Galettes, Crepes, Quiches, Salate und Omelettes - und immer ein günstiges Mittagsmenü werden von den unglaublich freundlichen Besitzern gereicht. Hier stimmt irgendwie alles: das Ambiente, das Lächeln, der Preis und natürlich das Essen. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Eine wirklich tolle Crêperie, die wir mit Begeisterung besucht haben. Sehr empfehlenswert für französische Reisende wie uns (und natürlich auch für alle anderen :) ).

Die Pfannkuchen waren okay, die mit vier Käsesorten würde ich aber nicht nochmal bestellen, die waren viel zu käsig.

Ein wirklich süßer Zwischenstopp für Naschkatzen nach dem Sonntagsessen – und sogar noch um 21 Uhr geöffnet! Die Crêpes sind superlecker, die Atmosphäre angenehm ruhig, im Hintergrund läuft dezente Musik und der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und entspannt. Er hat unser bescheidenes Deutsch mit einem Lächeln verstanden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, um die Galettes zu probieren!

10/10 crepes! Hatten einen süßen und einen herzhaften und beide waren grandios. Auch die Bewirtung top! 1000% komme ich wieder.

Suzette’s is always a wonderful dining experience. A great experience for gluten free eaters as their menu can be easily changed for celiac diners. Large portions, great ingredients and all prepared very well! I highly recommend Suzette’s, one of my favorite spots in the city.

I discovered the crêperie by chance. I fell in love at first bite. I had the crêpe with homemade applesauce. It was delicious and transported me back to France.

Savory Crêpes (Galettes): The savory galettes were truly delicious – the cheese in particular was simply phenomenal and the flavors were very finely balanced. There are many variations with meat, bacon, or ham, but you can easily request something else. My galette was delicious, fresh, and well-seasoned. Sweet Crêpes: The sweet crêpes were delicious overall, but I unfortunately didn't like the homemade caramel and especially the homemade chocolate. The chocolate just wasn't my cup of tea. On the other hand, the homemade cream was incredibly delicious – fluffy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. Ambience & Service: The ambiance was very pleasant – cozy, quiet, and authentically French. The service was also really friendly and attentive. The waiters were very nice and responded immediately to requests. Conclusion: Overall, a lovely visit with very tasty savory food and friendly service. A bit on the expensive side, but reasonable for the location and quality. I would definitely come back—but this time only for the savory galettes.

Super authentic. Galettes as good as you'd find anywhere, even in France. Decent, honest cider. A wide selection of savory and sweet treats, served by friendly owners who obviously operate with care and love and know how to offer good food and a great atmosphere. I wish I still lived in Berlin and could eat here all the time. Highly recommended!

Not coeliac safe. It says gluten free but cooked where all the gluten is cooked. Also, staff not very friendly, not really wanted to answer many questions about allergy safety.

I love the shop. I've probably been here 20 times. Alone, as a couple, in a group, with small children, with teenagers and I really like the store. Something different, very authentic, very nice staff. The taste is always very good and that's consistent. Delicious wines and delicious cider. For people with gluten intolerance: it is written on the menu that gluten-free galettes are made from buckwheat flour. The crepes are made from wheat flour. But that's just how it is in French cuisine. This is what it says on the card and this is how it is original. Thank you for having this store! We love you!

Despite repeated requests that I still needed the card to select something, it was snatched out of my hand. When I went to the counter to order, they said that they would come to the table later and take the entire order, but that they would "not just come for [me]." My drink was later forgotten. I have rarely experienced such a rude waiter.

The galettes were delicious, but the real star of the evening was the apple and caramel crepe! So so delicious, it's really worth stopping by!

The creperie offers gluten-free buckwheat savory galettes, which are in themselves safe for those who cannot eat gluten. However, the sweet crepes are made with flours containing gluten, on the same griddle!!! Of course, you can order sweet crepes without gluten, but just like the savory ones, they are made on the same griddle that was contaminated with gluten shortly before. The menu features the words “Glutenfrei”, even accompanied by a crossed out ear of wheat. Yet this symbol is an international recognition to identify a totally safe product (therefore free of traces of gluten…). Perfect place for intolerant people, but not for celiacs. It should be specified…. (In answer to what the owners wrote, I appreciate the attention you have given to my report. However, I would like to point out that the denaturation of gluten due to heat does not make it harmless for celiacs, neither over 170° C. Gluten proteins, even if altered, can still trigger an autoimmune reaction, so if the surface isn't completely clean, it's not safe for people affected by celiac desease).

One of our favorite restaurants. Every gallette and every crepe is outstanding. The cider is a must. And all at fair prices.

I was here with friends and we had galette and crepe and they tasted amazing. You have to wait a little but everything tasted so freshly made and worth the wait!

I recently visited Suzette Crêperie with my boyfriend, who is French, and we were both incredibly impressed! We tried both the crêpes and galettes, and they were absolutely delicious. The highlight for us was the crêpe with salted caramel—it was divine! Paired with the dry cider, it made for an authentic and satisfying meal. My boyfriend even remarked that the experience made him feel like he was back in France. The service was equally fantastic. Our waiter, who was also French, was warm and attentive throughout our visit. His genuine smile and enthusiasm really added to the atmosphere, making us feel right at home. The space itself is quite small, so you do sit pretty close to other tables. While this didn’t bother us, it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer more space between tables. Overall, I can’t recommend Suzette Crêperie enough. If you’re looking for authentic French flavors and a welcoming experience, this is the place to go!

Very cute little crepe galette place. The two operators are super friendly and noticeably put a lot of effort into it. Unfortunately, the galettes were a bit too crispy and dry for us, but the crepe as a dessert made up for it. Next time we would order the crepe batter from the start - it was really excellent. Unfortunately, Breton restaurants are a real rarity in Berlin, which is why we were happy to be able to enjoy a piece of Brittany here.

DO NOT GO HERE! Waiter is full of attitude, super rude and wants to pick a fight. If you want equally bad food and bad service this is your place. Galette was soggy and salty. Disgusting.

Good crepes, and gluten-free, we give 2 stars for the lack of friendliness. We ordered 4 crepes, a beer and a cola, they refused to put 2 glasses of water, bad face when we moved from the terrace to inside the premises due to wasps and sun, (in addition we moved the cutlery ourselves so as not to disturb) and discomfort of not being able to pay in cash. The owner's treatment has really been very inappropriate, it's a shame because the place is good. We will not return.

I've had better crepes, but it was still delicious. The dough was very light, the homemade chocolate was not my thing. But maybe I just made the wrong choice. Next time I'll try a different variant. I would happily recommend him

We went there for lunch . The galettes are heavy even though they might look like a quick light meal. I ordered one which had a lot of bell pepper and tomato which I think made the galette very soggy. My partner s was with schinken, egg elemental cheese and mushrooms and was crispy as expected. One thing to note is , it is cash only .

the review is not fake since we were 4 people and I paid 42€, second thing everybody got what they ordered and I had to wait another 15 min for my crepes, which makes your service poor, maybe check your menu once again so the prices coincide! on the website it also said you had crepes with strawberries, so that’s was basically the reason we went to this place, and you didn’t even have it🙄 so there’s my review: I do not recommend this place, can’t say it’s terrible, but the service is poor, and the prices are pretty high for such quality crepes!

Hicimos un viaje especial a esta zona para probar las crepes sin gluten. Están hechos de trigo sarraceno. Nos sentamos en el patio exterior y fuimos la segunda mesa en llegar. El lugar estaba vacío. Había dos hombres. Una cocina. El otro es el propietario francés y él hace la ración. Tomó nuestra orden. Pedimos galettes saladas y crepes dulces. Pedí chocolate caliente. Vino en un plato con un vaso alto de leche caliente, una pasta de chocolate y un tazón de crema. Mezclalos. Esa fue la mejor parte de mi visita. Una revelación. Me encantó. Llegaron las sabrosas galettes y estaban un poco ricas. Tomé el Parisienne y encontré el queso demasiado afilado para mí. También estaban demasiado secos para mi gusto. Terminamos la mayoría. Entonces todo el patio se llenó de invitados y todas las mesas estaban llenas. Le dije a mi familia que tuvimos suerte de poner nuestro pedido primero. Bueno, resultó que el propietario decidió obtener los pedidos de todas las otras mesas y luego servir a todas las demás mesas su comida antes de regresar a nuestra mesa una hora más tarde para traer las crepes dulces. Muy extraño. No muy educado y profesional en mi opinión. Los crepes dulces eran mejores que los salados. Para ser honesto, prefiero mucho las increíbles tortitas de trigo sarraceno de mi esposo. Yo vendría aquí si tienes mucha paciencia y no te importa esperar mucho. Hay un baño limpio.

Restaurant is highly praised in ranking and rating. We were rather disappointed. There was probably a misunderstanding when ordering and one of the crepes was double even though I wanted it to be single. The kids then had a hard time because there was “only” homemade chocolate and no Nutella or jam with the crepes. In the end the parents had to eat it. Very disappointing that card payment is not possible. Receipts are only issued upon special request and apparently the entire fraction management works manually (it takes time). This raises the suspicion that taxes are being avoided here. Hopefully not. The ambience was a bit cool. The tiles made me feel more like a guest in the kitchen than in a restaurant.
