Great cafe for breakfast. Very good, fresh juice. Friendly service. Personally I would prefer less chocolate on the pancakes because it is quite bitter. But the pancake itself is very good. I definitely highly recommend it.

Galettes were divine. Huge. Tasty. For the uninitiated, they're made with buckwheat flour and different from the usual pancake - which were what these dessert crepes were. Please do not order the pain au Chocolat - I've had better from supermarkets in Singapore.

Please also provide menus in the local language. We are customers too.

Best crepes that I ever had! Sometimes the waiting can be longer than expected, but it is totally worth the wait. The little kiosk for takeaway is also great for when you just want some croissants and coffee to go (amazing croissants fyi) and the people there are so nice as well, they warm up even a chilly day.

Delicious crepes and croissants. Unfortunately, the coffee wasn't that good... and was brought to my table completely overfilled and overflowing. I then had to clean the cup with my own napkin, which then stuck to the bottom of the cup. It wasn't great. Otherwise, friendly service, but could have been a bit more attentive. Update: I've added a star because of Catherine's quick and friendly response.

Such nice service and best croissant ever!

The café was okay—nothing particularly special. We had to wait quite a while, and the crêpe seemed a bit pricey at first. But let me tell you: it was delicious and generously sized, which definitely justified the cost. Plus, they offer a vegan option, which is great. I’d go back again!

The coffee and the crepe with delicious strawberries. As well as the attention of the owner and the rest of the waiters. The very cozy atmosphere. It was good for us after visiting the Berlin markets.

A nice surprise: an excellent French bar very close to Boxhagener Platz. Well structured in some rooms with wooden tables, it offers good quality coffee, drinks and croissants of all kinds. To spend some time pleasantly, reading or chatting.

Best pain Au chocolate and croissants in Berlin!

Simply the best croissants - the smell of fresh pastries hits your nose a few meters in advance and leads you straight to the sales window, where you can order various baked goods and hot drinks to go. With a bit of luck, the croissants have just come out of the oven and are still warm - it couldn't be better! In addition, the employees at the window are always very friendly!

For me, Melt is the first address when it comes to crepes! The service is always friendly, and even though the tables are a bit close together, the café still has a cozy atmosphere. My go-to: the apple cinnamon crepe – simply perfect! If you love good crepes, you've come to the right place. I'll always come back!

Excellent! The Breton crepes are exquisite, Catherine and the whole team take great care. It feels exactly like home! Bonus: the espresso is just perfect with a nice buttered croissant.

The French boutique atmosphere of this café is cozy and chic. It's nearly empty in the late morning during weekdays, but I'm sure it gets busy during peek hours. Service was polite and the food was very fresh.

The crepes are very delicious and tasty. I strongly suggest this place. And the people are working here are extremely polite.

We got lucky, walked in and though the place was packed, we just managed to get a spot for four. (The place is clearly super popular though. Don't be us - make a reservation. ) Good service, great food, nice and warm. Tiny space though - would not recommend with dog, forget a stroller, and wheelchair would probably be rather hard too.

If you want, you can imagine sitting in a small bistro in Paris, a very cozy little place. :) The selection of dishes is manageable, but that's totally ok because it still offers a variety in the niche and, above all, is very tasty. If you eat vegetarian, you can also get by with the selection and find something delicious. There is little choice when it comes to explicitly vegan dishes. If you are not flexible, you may not be so happy, but otherwise highly recommended! There are milk alternatives for coffee, for example.

We stopped by here on a Saturday morning. The smell of croissant had attracted us and we were looking for coffee. My friend raved about the cappuccino all day and wanted to go back and you simply can't do without buying a croissant or pain au chocolate here. I'll definitely come back here again.

As I was walking down the street, I smelled freshly baked pastries, so I grabbed a pain au chocolat. It was so delicious!

Very good food. We had the creme with ham, cheese and eggs and it was fantastic. The staff working is very nice and friendly and were very helpful explaining the menu. Super nice place and the toilets are very clean. I did not try the croissant but it smelled and looked amazing! Coming back for sure!

They have gluten-free crepes. I ordered a gluten-free crepe that was delicious with Apple cinnamon and another (with gluten) with jam as well as 2 coffees and everything cost us €17.50. It's a little expensive but the food is very good (they had crepes and cheaper gluten-free pastries). The terrace was very good.

As a half-French woman living in Germany who comes from Brittany - the region of crepes and galettes - I always enjoy coming here. Here I get a taste of home on my palate. The galettes and crepes are extremely tasty, as is the breakfast omelet. The team and the atmosphere are also really nice and accommodating. I can only warmly recommend this shop, especially if you miss France. And anyone who follows a vegan or gluten-free diet will also find what they are looking for here.

Melt Café Crêperie is one of my favorite places when it comes to croissants with coffee. Croissants and pain au chocolat are sometimes still warm, especially in the morning, crispy on the outside and buttery on the inside. The jam also tastes very good, not too sweet. I haven't eaten anything else there myself, but crepes, etc. also look very good. The staff is really friendly, you can sit inside and outside. There is also a small window on the side where you can buy to-go croissants directly.

Probably the best croissants in Friedrichshain. I purchase these through the convenient window sale! Always fresh and warm! Since I live across the street, the melt croissants and chocolate croissants are part of our weekend breakfast. —- Otherwise I can't say anything about the rest of the offerings and ambience. I only use takeaway sales.

Came here for gluten free crepes (i.e. galettes). Good was great, cider came in a bowl per Normandie tradition.

Goat cheese walnut n honey galette was delicious, chocolate banana was okay but the bananas were very yummy and caramelised! I loved the setting more than anything, the tap water was free in french fashion and the sweet very attentive waitresses didn’t speak german only french or english, really felt like a little piece of France in the middle of Berlin. The flies were a bit annoying but somehow made me feel like i was in Paris 🥰 Definitely recommend it.

The crepe its the biggest dissapointment in the world. 13 euros for nothing. You might aswell empty your wallet for a glass of tap water. Dont give money to these thieves.

Great crepes (both sweet and savory)!

After 2 years living in the area we decided to give it a go. Food is good, but crossant not sure.. it’s not fluffy. One can find better in the city I believe. Service was very disappointing, after my strawberry cream Crêpe that was very delicious I ordered pane chocolate and waiter said “sure” I waited and it didn’t arrive. After 15mins I asked for the bill and asked her again and she said ahh sorry we rain out and it will take a while as they are in the oven. Paid and left disappointed. Why she didn’t tell me and waited on the table for nothing! Also when I ordered I saw from the window that they still had so technically she forgot completely and I left not with the best experience. Not planning to go again soon. Very annoying, typical Berlin service.

If you look for a creperie in Berlin, you realize that it is an almost impossible mission. We found this place after much searching for a creperie and we loved it. It is completely French in style, not only the setting but the staff, who even use it as their main language. You have sweet and savory crepes as well as drinks. I recommend the chocolate crepe, delicious.

It is so worth it! The crepes were amazing and the ingredients felt home made. The atmosphere was welcoming and the owner was so nice. Would definitely come back.
