It used to be better. Today I ordered a Quattro Formaggi pizza with extra broccoli (1.50€). What arrived was a sparsely topped pizza with no broccoli. Very bad.
An authentic and cozy Italian restaurant. The pickles, pastes, and other details inside give the impression that it's run by an Italian family. The creamy tomato soup was very tasty, and the olive oil spread served as a complimentary starter before the meal was equally delicious. Then came the pasta with bolognese sauce. We all enjoyed it and had a pleasant dinner.
We were a group of 10 (with a reservation!) for dinner today (6 pm) and I'm absolutely appalled at how these good reviews came about. I think it's under new ownership. We waited about 15 minutes for simple drinks, which was fine. We ordered 8 pizzas and 1 pasta dish. When they said they'd only be baking 4 pizzas at a time, it was clear we'd need some patience, but waiting 50 minutes for a mediocre pizza was unbelievable. No aperitif, baguette, or olives. No one asked if we wanted anything else. Instead, a guest who arrived long after us, knew the waitress, and left with a pizza... you can draw your own conclusions. There's practically no customer service here! The lazy woman sat behind the counter fiddling with her phone. In the end, we were sitting in a cold, ambiance-free restaurant, and it completely ruined our mood. As a group, I would never set foot in this place again.
I've been here for 7 years. The grill master and the servers are absolutely fantastic. The pugs are always a feast for the eyes. The menu is concise, but includes pizza, scampi, and a changing weekly special, along with classics. It's important to note that the weekly specials, in particular, are prepared entirely by the owner herself. You can taste it.
We were impressed by our lunch here. Definitely would like to be back. The fish was fresh, rolls were great. We ordered once and then two more time because could not get enough of these delicious nigiri and rolls.
