Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was good, even if it wasn't really to my taste. The portions were quite large and generous. The ambiance fits the neighborhood.
I would have loved to give it 5 stars, but the food brought the rating down a bit. Almost every dish was missing salt :/ and the Warenyky dough was a bit rubbery...
What I can definitely recommend, though, is the bacon plate (Salo) and the quark pancakes (Syrnyky) - they were great!!
Thank you for the excellent service ❤️
I ordered a pizza with tomatoes, mushrooms, and arugula on the spot.
Aside from the fact that the tablecloths were dirty and the oil bottles on the table had seen better days, I found it more than a little cheeky when I saw exactly one quartered cocktail tomato on my pizza. Of course, the arugula was generously topped, so I didn't really taste anything else. Somehow, I was hoping for more, considering it's called an Italian pizza.
In general, I haven't been there in a long time, and I think the toppings used to be more generous, the selection smaller, but a lot better.
We were overcharged by about 15%, which we didn't immediately notice, only later when we realized it sounded a bit high. Ofc there was no receipt, just scribbles on a piece of paper. Calculate your bill yourself before you head for the cash-only no-receipt payment.
This isn't your average restaurant. The food is tasty, but not cheap. The "Verdauer" (digestive dish) is overpriced at €9.50 in my opinion, so you'll have to skip it next time, but every now and then you can still treat yourself to a visit...
