Good evening everyone,
Today I and my friends were there to celebrate during the “Kirchweih” folk festival. Unfortunately, as the friendliest and most tolerant person in the world, I was given a severe warning by the security guy, which ruined the festival for the entire year (due to my activity in the Pogo, even though the live band expressly requested me to participate.) Unfortunately, two attempts to talk to the boss didn't lead to a dialogue with the security guy, what a shame!
The food is supposed to be quite good, apparently.
A slightly dated place but fascinating for this reason too.
I was the only customer and this explains the slightly excessive attention to what I was doing.
The food is very good but be careful: it can be very spicy!
Overall good.
It is not possible to pay digitally and the receipt is handwritten.
English is not spoken in the restaurant: only German and Vietnamese.
No lighting in the outside area, waiter no uniform and no tray, no Italian music (instead a kind of techno), tuna and non-alcoholic wheat beer were out, pizza with vegetables (10 black pitted olives, a few sliced peppers, lost zucchini and onion, which was requested), no limoncello (!) or generally no schnapps available, something fresh in the restaurant. Where has Italian hospitality gone?
I've been there before and ordered a caprese pizza. This was also very tasty. That's why I ordered the classic salami pizza today. Which was also very tasty. The edge was not too thin and not too thick. It was also very crispy. The base wasn't that thick either, which I find very good for pizzas. The owner Leonardo was also very friendly. He just can't hear that well anymore, so don't be surprised if you have to repeat some things. But that's just because of his age. And not worth deducting for food. The atmosphere is also quite familiar. I don't think you could order food there, only take-away. Otherwise there would be nothing more to say except that the pizza has always been delicious and I will definitely order there again.
LG Marc
Cozy atmosphere, really freshly prepared food, often special events, delicious beer, watching football and a cheerful host. Rustic beer garden in summer, partly covered.
Good, solid pizza. We often get pizza from there. It's more of a takeout and delivery place, but you can also linger and eat there. It has a bistro feel, not a restaurant feel. 🙂
Sushi pizza was delicious but very small.
Gioza's veggie options aren't worth it.
The sushi menu didn't match the photo on the menu, and I felt cheated...even though I pointed it out.
