We spontaneously stopped at Da Rocco for lunch. It's a lovely beer garden, and the ambiance is also appealing. The landlady is also very nice and friendly. However, the waiter was a bit distracted and overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress us that much. My risotto pescatore tasted quite good, and the risotto rice still had a bit of a bite, but the quality of the seafood was like supermarket frozen food with surimi. Unfortunately, the insalata caprese wasn't great either. Only the tomato soup was really good. But maybe that was because we were there at 1:00 PM, an hour before lunch. So next time, we'd probably go for a classic pizza.

The pizza is delicious. I don't recommend the cocktails.

We were only at the pizzeria on Saturday. The pizza and risotto were delicious, but the dessert was the best for us. A very nice and friendly atmosphere. A very nice restaurant. We regret not having such a good pizzeria in our town. Definitely recommend it!

We ordered for pickup. At home, we opened the "30cm" pizza, the crust about 4cm thick, and it was still a "30cm" pizza but with 22cm of topping. Unfortunately, the tagliatelle with salmon only tasted of cream.

Very bad food, the spaghetti carbonara was completely unseasoned, the bacon wasn't fried, the sauce wasn't cooked down properly. The only thing that was done right was the noodles and that's very sad. The service was completely confused, we had to wait half an hour to order and when I said that the noodles didn't taste good, nothing came. We had to pay normally even though I hardly ate any of it. We ordered a tiramisu as dessert, which was supposed to be a surprise for the birthday child... we forgot, had to go in and then bring it ourselves, make candles, etc. But the best thing was that we were looked at askance because we only gave a 10€ tip even though the service and the rest actually didn't deserve anything. I'm a chef in an Italian restaurant myself and can therefore say that it was absolute crap. Very very disappointing

Super friendly service! From service to food, everything is great!

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our visit. The service was chaotic and at times disorganized. The wait was also quite long. Our pizzas were burnt and therefore very hard and dry. The only good thing was that our special requests were accommodated.

The salad and bruschetta were plentiful, fresh, and delicious. The risotto pescatori was excellent. I've never had so much seafood in a risotto. The waiter was a bit disoriented, but the manager was well-directed.

We are regular guests. Great service and very good lasagna!

Most expensive sausage bread in the Oberland. €15.50 for a cold pizza is crazy. First and last visit. Next time it's better to have a good snack board from Muddi.

I've eaten here about 10 times. Price performance is just right here (in contrast to next door) The waitress was sometimes a bit overwhelmed and forgot about us twice, but that can happen...

Unfortunately we weren't satisfied. Bruschetta was ok, but not noticeably seasoned and the bread was very dark on one side. The Pizza Gourmet was very dry, we didn't see any white sauce and the topping was cold. We let this pizza go back, but ended up paying for it. The Hawaiian pizza we ordered was simply nothing special. The Pizza Pere Noci sounded very special on paper, but it also had a very wide and dry crust and a few unroasted, cold walnuts were thrown on top of the Gorgonzola and a few pieces of pear - overall, unfortunately, a bit careless and in need of improvement. Our waiter tried very hard, but overall the waiting times were still a bit long. We waited almost half an hour for our bill and had to ask again. Criticism that we wanted to make personally when paying was not accepted and treated as a matter of taste and we could have gone to the checkout. There was no apology or friendly explanation. The decor and ambience were nice.

Great pizza, and the best one in Bad Tölz probably. The dough is great while toppings are fresh. The variety is great and combinations taste great together.

Without a reservation… We were warmly welcomed and even though a lot of tables were reserved, there was live music, we got a nice table. Big praise for the service. Food was great and great wine. We will come again.

Meat a complete disaster, overpriced and poor quality and preparation. I really cannot understand in ANY WAY how these reviews come about. Either most of it was bought, or people's taste buds were fried by all the ready-made food, or we were deliberately and consciously ripped off, for whatever reason. In my opinion, these must be bought comments, because as bad as this restaurant is, it is impossible to get a rating of 4.5... Without going beyond the scope of this, it was the worst, most miserable and outrageous thing I've ever had to experience gastronomically! And that is really an achievement, respect! It was an appointed evening for a small birthday gathering. We had ordered Italian delicacies to have on hand many days in advance (i.e. even with sufficient preparation time), together with an aperitif. The rest then à la carte. What was done to us: Industrially manufactured ready-made bags with indefinable contents, some with Viennese sausages (!) in them... An embarrassment and impudence at the same time, enough to sink into the ground! This is neither worthy of the wonderful Italian culinary culture nor does it show the integrity of an Italian host! AN ABSOLUTE INSURANCE!!! The remaining dishes were incredibly boringly seasoned, unsalted and some of them were of the lowest quality. For example, the salad was 40% rotten or old, my truffle pasta for €21(!) was enough for small children and was literally swimming in tasteless oil. Just a few excerpts from the complete failure of this so-called "family-run restaurant". This has as much to do with Italian culture and appreciative hospitality as Chop Suey has to do with Wiener Schnitzel! The only thing I can confirm is the friendliness of the staff. If they had been unfriendly, we would have left the store in anger at the latest after the ready-made dumplings were delivered. Because to this day I don't have the right words for that, or I would have to be insulting. None of my guests will ever set foot in this shabby store again. That much is certain. Because it was very embarrassing for me as a host, I invited all the guests again the following week to a decent restaurant that I know in order to rehabilitate my reputation as a good host. I was really very embarrassed... I only say SHAME and SHAME to "da Rocco", which is by far the worst Italian restaurant in the entire south of Munich and especially in Bad Tölz. BETTER HANDS OFF! There's enough choice here so you don't have to be fooled.

Very nice Italian restaurant with a great ambience. It was very full, but that is also due to the fact that the food there tastes great and the service is also good. If we come to Bad Tölz again, we'll really enjoy eating here again. We ate spaghetti scampi and spaghetti mare, great value for money.

The pizzas were VERY poorly topped, despite the ambitious prices. We don't go there anymore.

Yesterday I was in this restaurant with a friend and we had a really nice time with you. Yes, we were initially recommended a small table, but it was no problem at all that we sat down at the larger (most beautiful) table. The food was excellent, I haven't eaten such good scampi in a long time👍. The salad was also super fresh and simply delicious. My girlfriend really liked the gnocchi from the weekly ticket. The service was attentive and we enjoyed lunch in the great weather. We'd love to come back.

We actually always liked going to da Rocco, but today we and a couple of holidaymakers in the beer garden were turned away from our table because it was too big for us. Even though half of the tables were free. Maybe it was the new service, but we found it really rude and then went straight to the next bar. By the way, they didn't care that we occupied a table for 4 😉.

Unfortunately the pizza no longer tastes good at all. The topping (ham, salami, pineapple) tastes like cheap discount store toppings. And 15€ for that is crazy 🙈 The restaurant itself is very nice

So I just ordered a pizza with my girlfriend. To pick up yourself. So I can well imagine that the salami comes from Rewe or something similar. I was just as unimpressed by the quality as I was by the price... I thought it was a good Italian restaurant... Thanks for that, but unfortunately it's no longer with me... don't carry on like that...

Probably the worst pizza I have tasted this year and of I am being honest the whole experience was just off. Marc Mandolin man was providing the entertainment and just ft a little sad. Our table was dirty and the service was a little slow. Pizza just was really basic. Chewy and the sauce was not home made. Would recommend going further into town. The town is beautiful.

I ordered 2 pizzas to take away and therefore can't rate the service and ambience. The pizzas were very average in taste and very sparsely topped. About 1/3 of the pizza was empty and consisted only of dough. For the price (15 euros) I would have expected much more. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Pizza to pick up: I ordered 4 pizzas by phone and picked them up at the specified time. Two pizzas were burnt, all four were careless and had little topping. Half an onion was almost completely put on the tonno. I called them and they only took back burnt pizzas and made new, better ones. Simply bad for this price. Would not recommend.

I was here on Tuesday as part of a birthday. For me, as a native of Munich (living in Kochel), this is my new favorite Italian restaurant. The ambience combines tradition and modernity with high-quality furniture, the food and wine were superb, from the starter to the main course and dessert (pistachio mousse!). Service very warm and caring. I will definitely come back with my family. Because of the group of adults recently, I don't know whether there would be something for children to play with or paint with - I would also think that would be great and would make it perfect.

Long wait until the food arrived. 2 out of 8 dishes were brought incorrectly. Hard to reach waitress.

The food is very tasty, light and digestible. No matter whether it's meat, fish or vegan food, for a celebration or simply for two, everything is just right. You will be welcomed and served very friendly. The wine selection is interesting and you can find the right wine for every dish.

Very fast service and best pizza in Tölz.

The local atmosphere is very appealing. We were handed the menu, but then it seemed as if we had been forgotten 😉. We also had to wait a long time for our simple dish, the small breads were unfortunately stale and some of them were burnt at the bottom, which was a shame. We enjoyed the dish. We'll see when we want to stop by next time...

My husband and I are regular guests at Da Rocco and enjoy the good food and the great ambience. The landlady is incredibly friendly and warm. Da Rocco is one of the few restaurants in Bad Tölz where you can always rely on good quality. The desserts there are heavenly.

The best Italian in Bad Tölz! Whether pizza, lasagne or pasta, we are super satisfied every time. Everything is freshly prepared and the owners always have a smile on their faces. The furnishings are very lovingly designed and the overall atmosphere is very cozy. The junior had tiramisu for dessert, which we were lucky enough to try a spoonful of. But then he wanted to keep the rest to himself - understandable! The selection of wines is also very diverse. These are lovingly decorated and stored on shelves right at the entrance. Even if we only ordered “to go”, we had to wait a maximum of 10 minutes - so this is also absolutely recommended! We always enjoy coming here. See you soon! :) Moritz, Louis and Lisa

... after the only few local restaurants/pubs had their kitchens closed and the bar closed... (between 8:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.) We, a group of hungry oven builders, were warmly welcomed and were able to order food from the pizza menu without restrictions! The pizzas were all very tasty and the drinks were lovingly served. We were so excited that we went there for lunch the following two days

Unfortunately, this wasn't our first disappointing visit to the restaurant. We were invited there for a birthday and you quickly got the impression that a larger group would be overwhelming. Starting with the fact that the table was set, which was very nice, but with far too few glasses (a few had wine glasses, a few didn't). The starter was good, but everything came very sporadically, there was no real process behind it, more of a check-in. After asking, bread came with the starter platters only 20 minutes later when we had already finished it. The service staff were extremely annoyed and didn't leave a pleasant impression, which is always very important to me for a great visit to the restaurant. For me, friendliness doesn't just start with language but with facial expressions. My main course, a steak, was an absolute disaster for the price, I ordered it medium rare, in places it was just raw or even completely pink, barely a trace of potatoes were carelessly lying next to it and some were still hard. Pizza was ok and there was no dessert at all. Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that I will now absolutely not give any further recommendations.

Inconspicuous from the outside but a surprise inside! The service is attentive and the food comes super quickly, even when the place is full. The food is super delicious! I ordered pasta on my first visit and pizza the second time. Both times I was very positively surprised. Simply delicious! The way it is served is also aesthetic and makes you hungry. The prices for the food itself are more than fair and justified. Absolutely top quality! Only the drinks could be a little cheaper. Therefore one point deducted. Nevertheless, I enjoy eating here and look forward to my next visit.

Good food at a good Italian restaurant.

A very nice and good Italian restaurant, the food is super tasty and the prices are completely ok for the quality you get. The only thing we had to complain about during our visit, which also cost 1 star, was that we had to wait almost 15 minutes for our table despite making a reservation. Here I would definitely have expected a little attention from the restaurant/staff and not the statement every 3-4 minutes that our table would soon be available.

Sehr lecker, kommen gerne wieder

Der Service ist gut, wenn der Laden voll wird kann es aber auch schon mal 20 minuten dauern bis ein Getränk bestellt werden kann, noch mal so lange bis es gebracht wird. Das Essen war zwischen gut und sehr gut. Für 25€ bei einem Fleischgericht kann man mehr erwarten als 5 Bratkartoffeln und wässrige Steinpilze. Sonst war aber das Essen in Ordnung und nicht zu beanstanden. Wenn es im Restaurant voll wird ist es leider sehr laut und man versteht sich und sein Gegenüber kaum noch.

Eine mega leckere Pizza mit einem außerordentlich guten Espresso Macchiato im Huibuh-Style 😊zum Abschluss. Sehr freundlicher Service und eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Gerne wieder...
