So far, this is the best Greek restaurant. Large portions – a bit pricey, but the quality is very good. Just one tip: please use hot plates. That way the food stays warm longer. But otherwise, it's really top-notch.
I can't comment on the rooms, but both the service and the food in the restaurant were excellent! I would describe the decor as feminine, somewhat cheeky, but definitely comfortable. I would gladly return anytime!
Unfortunately, some of the staff only speak broken German, but they try their best to be friendly. The food is good. Be prepared for a bit of a wait for service and for the food itself. The ambiance isn't great; it's rather small and cramped. At best, judging by the number of chairs I counted, it's supposed to hold 28 guests. That means it's pretty cozy. It was only sparsely occupied on Sunday evening.
We stumbled upon this place by chance. All in all, it's a fantastic Italian restaurant with excellent cuisine, tasteful, modern, and cozy decor, and very friendly staff. We enjoyed our meal and felt completely at home.
We'll definitely stop there again on our next trip to Munich.
This restaurant, nestled in the Beer Park, boasts a prime location, perfect for a date. While they primarily serve Greek cuisine, they also offer a variety of local dishes and drinks. My girlfriend and I had a cold appetizer, a hot appetizer, two main courses, and two drinks. Let me give you a brief review: The cold appetizer, Tzatziki, served with German bread, tasted like a yogurt cheese sauce and wasn't particularly impressive. The hot appetizer, Halumi, featuring goat cheese, was quite strong and might not suit those who can't handle lamb, like my girlfriend, hahahaha 😂. The chili peppers and olives were salty and appetizing, but the experience will vary. The hot dishes were particularly impressive, especially the grilled squid in the Meatloaf and Squid with Vegetables. The juicy meatloaf tasted a bit like kebab 😂, so I recommend ordering the seafood squid dish alone. You won't regret it. The grilled vegetables also retained their juiciness and were perfectly grilled. My lamb hock was also delicious. Since it was my first time eating Greek food, the tiny, bean-shaped noodles were a novelty. The tomato flavor was just right, and there was goat cheese on the side, which I personally find quite salty and strong.
Speaking of which, I have to mention the atmosphere of this restaurant. Many tables were occupied by locals, chatting and laughing. Strangers even greeted us as we left. It was a warm welcome, and it made us feel warm in this cold autumn and winter in Munich!
The two of us ended up spending 74.5 euros.
Wonderful restaurant right next to the Viktualienmarkt! We had a fantastic meal and received super friendly and fast service! Absolutely recommended!!!
