Had a fantastic evening at Sieben Schwaben. It was packed, but the amazing team was on top of things, always smiling and extremely attentive! Wow, and respect! The beer was great, the food fantastic, the location charming – thank you and hopefully see you next time! We loved it.
This is the cheapest gin I've seen here. €14.50 per glass. When I asked if they also served it in a glass (which would be appropriate for the price), the bartender stated that this was the only way they offered it, as it was the equivalent of a proper glass.
The beer was served in a hot glass with no head whatsoever. Furthermore, it was warm from the glass and tasted stale.
Absolutely not recommended! This place is just an Irish pub on the sign!
Whenever I'm in Munich, my first stop for a top-notch steak dinner is the Grill im Künstlerhaus. Today, on my fifth visit to the Grill, I was unfortunately very disappointed, and the restaurant has lost me as a customer. There were three of us, and we actually had a nice table at the end, just as we'd requested. Unfortunately, there was a large group in the same area. It quickly became apparent that the service was either understaffed or overwhelmed. Everything took longer than expected; the ordered bottle of wine was placed on the table but then left unopened for 15 minutes. We ordered our steaks cooked to three different levels of doneness: medium-rare, medium, and medium-well. None of the three steaks were cooked properly. The rarer ones were overcooked, and the medium-well was more like medium. On top of that, the steaks, and especially the side dishes, were lukewarm to cold. My only explanation is that the food was already prepared at the pass, but our server was still busy chatting with the large group. During that time, our food got cold, and the steaks continued to cook. The reaction to the incorrect cooking levels was a shrug, as if to say, "Well, it's close, he'll figure something out." We were then offered a grappa or coffee. In a restaurant of this caliber, the steak should have been taken back and recooked without hesitation. At one point, we were without water for half an hour and stood there for 15 minutes with our empty plates. The server was nowhere to be seen for a long time. I'm generally generous with tips, but unfortunately, nothing was earned today. The server reacted rudely. No apology for the meal, no "have a nice evening," just a quick exit without a word. A real shame, as I enjoyed eating there, but I'll now have to look for another steakhouse.
A traditional Bavarian inn with a small menu offering delicious Bavarian specialties. We had the roast pork with potato and pretzel dumplings, the children's schnitzel, and Kaiserschmarrn – everything was incredibly delicious. The dumplings and gravy were homemade, and you could really taste the difference.
The service was friendly and attentive.
The decor is modern and cozy. The restaurant also has a bowling alley that can be booked!
We'll definitely be back.
The food is very tasty, the portions are more than enough, the shop salad is wonderful, the service is professional, very friendly. We would always come back and we will also order home delivery! We recommend that you decorate the facility a little more, especially the entrance, everything else is a perfect five. Thank you.
