Very unassuming from the outside.
Inside, a quaint corner pub, just like I remember from my youth.
We entered the dining room and were greeted with an unusually friendly welcome.
The menu read well, so we ordered.
The proprietor, who also ran the kitchen, immediately got to work.
What he served us was magnificent. Not just a feast for the eyes. No, our tongues and palate were also delighted.
And so, stuffed, we headed back to our motorhome.
We thank you again for your hospitality.
Beautiful scenery, though not a distant view, steep climb on boring gravel.
We were looking forward to refreshments. Closed! The weather wasn't great. A sign at the parking lot would have been nice.
There are better tours with guaranteed refreshments!
The environment is very nice, the food is great, the staff is meticulous and organized, the work is friendly, I recommend it to everyone, it is a wonderful place.
I've never had such a good family pizza! I've been looking for a good pizza in Lindau for a long time and found it here. Really very good. Service is very good, the pizza arrives hot and tastes excellent. probs!
A dream from the wood-fired oven!
The pizza was simply perfect – a light crust and a thin, crispy base with just the right roasted flavors from the wood-fired oven. The topping of fresh mushrooms and juicy ham went perfectly together, and the tomato sauce was beautifully fruity and full of flavor. You can immediately tell that the ingredients are lovingly prepared here.
Highly recommended for all pizza lovers! 🍕🔥
We were there in June.
Very nice host!
A delicious beer.
Schnitzel with fries and a portion of potato salad to go.
We were very satisfied.
Great value for money. And very tasty 😋.
If we stop here again, we'll definitely come back.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. I was extremely disappointed. There were five of us, and three of the meals were disastrous. I had the duck leg a la orange with bread dumplings and salad. Sorry, I've never eaten anything so bad. Whether it was the tough duck leg or those unseasoned, endlessly cooked bread dumplings, it was overshadowed by a gravy that was probably a convenience product and had no connection whatsoever with a duck. The other dishes at the table also left a lot to be desired. Pike-perch fillet with rice drowned in a sticky, flour-based sauce.
A third dish: mushrooms with the aforementioned bread dumplings. Unfortunately, there was a lot of sauce that didn't taste good, and there were no mushrooms to be found. If I may advise guests: Order a schnitzel; the chef will get it right.
Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos because I forgot my phone. But the food wasn't exactly a visual highlight either. A shame for the money.
