The food tasted good, but the price-performance ratio was an absolute disaster. The service was okay, but no attention was paid to whether we still had drinks - an absolute no-go in a restaurant in this price range. The biggest criticism, however, is the ridiculous portion size. As a woman (!), I was still hungry after my beef fillet. When we asked the waiter about it, the only response we received from the kitchen was that the portions were “normal” – no apology, no accommodation, nothing. Even the waiters agreed with us that it was extremely little and they were visibly uncomfortable. That speaks volumes. Instead of finding a solution, I was offered a coffee - meant nicely, but completely out of place. It seems as if they are trying to make an impression with “fancy”, but that doesn’t fit with what ultimately ends up on the plate. Conclusion: €39 for a mini portion that doesn't even fill you up - absolutely overpriced. If you like to leave a restaurant hungry, this is the place for you. Everyone else should save their money.

Great hike from Neuschwanstein over Marienbrücke to the Bleckenau mountain inn. The path has a decent, steady incline but is well developed. As a reward there was a beautiful view and a light meal in the great inn. Sausage salad and a strudel were also a must. Service was very nice and prices were ok.

An overall amazing experience! Staff were fun and entertaining, our hotel brought us there after our Neuschwanstein tour. Food was delicious and came out in a timely manner as well over all of your a tourist I definitely recommend coming here!!

As hotel guests, we dined at the Schloss Bräustüberl Hohenschwangau in the evening. The service was truly top-notch – very friendly, attentive, and quick, even when the place was full. The food itself was okay, but you can tell the concept is geared more toward day trippers: solid home-style cooking, but with room for improvement in terms of taste and quality. Especially in such a special location, we would have expected a bit more. The atmosphere is quaint and fits perfectly with the surroundings – perfectly fine for a relaxed dinner after a day filled with castle romance. The naturally cloudy cellar beer was very tasty. Conclusion: Nice place with great service, but the food still has room for improvement.

Wir waren zu dritt und ein essen schlimmer als das andere. Wir hatten Käsespätzle die so schlecht waren das ich sie nicht Mal bezahlt habe. So was ungenießbares ist mir nicht nie untergekommen. Meine bekannte hatte Jägerschnitzel das so eklig war das ich nicht mal den Geruch ertragen konnte, und weit entfernt von einem Jägerschnitzel war. Ein erschreckender fraß!!! Ich hatte den Schweinebraten...... es war wie ein richtig schlechtes Mikrowellen Gericht, einfach eklig und in keinster Weise dem Namen Schweinebraten würdig. Nie wieder würde ich da was essen, zu dem es noch absolut überteuert ist. Eine Frechheit dieses Lokal. Ich kann jeden nur warnen da was zu essen und zu trinken.

Obwohl erst um 12 Uhr geöffnet wird haben wir am Sonntag bereits um 11:15 einen Kaffee erhalten, Danke im nachhinein nochmals an die sehr freundliche Servicekraft. Das Bier danach somit die Snacks waren sehr gut.

Unfortunately I cannot rate the quality of the food. Due to the high prices and disastrous service, I lost interest in eating there. None of the four people present could communicate in German. Nobody could answer me until when it was open or whether it was possible to take food away. Nothing worked in English either. In addition, the employees were too unfriendly for my understanding and seemed uninterested. At some point they simply handed me a menu. The cheapest meal cost €16, which I found unreasonable. I can't recommend the restaurant.

Like others have said - there’s not much to say about this place. It’s a snack shop with the usual stuff. However the views are spectacular and worth taking a break here instead of any other spot on the road. There’s tons of seating, all self serve. Plop yourself down and people watch.
