It was just delicious. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, but the service was terrible, especially for a hotel restaurant. When it came time to pay, they asked us to settle the bill without providing a receipt. After I requested one, i found out they added a 20% tip. I complained and had it adjusted, but honestly, if you're going to expect a tip, shouldn't the service at least be friendly? I’ve traveled to europe many times, and this is the first time i have had such an experience. it ruined the mood for the rest of my trip and left a bad impression of this city

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. The portions are extremely small and the supposedly 180g meat was clearly not what was on the menu. When we asked the restaurant manager about it, he actually brought a scale to the table and weighed the meat in front of all the guests - completely inappropriate and unpleasant behavior. At this point we had enough and returned the meat. The price-performance ratio here is in no way justified, and the service was anything but customer-oriented.

Great meal while staying in the hotel. Overall I’d give it a 9.5, food, service and wine was great. I had the beetroot and goats cheese (10/10) then broke my no steak unless it’s a steak restaurant rule and had it for the main course (9/10). Wife had burrata (10/10) then truffle ravioli (8/10). Mark down for atmosphere as with most nice hotels you always get some awful guests you have the unfortunate time of sharing space with. Also shoutout to the bar staff, great cocktails.

Vorspeise Ceviche war sehr lecker, Hauptspeise Trüffel-Ravioli ebenfalls, zweite Hauptspeise Risotto mit Pfifferlingen leider etwas versalzen. Wurde nicht von uns reklamiert, aber der Kellner hat es bemerkt und nachgefragt, daraufhin wurde es von der Rechnung genommen, das fanden wir sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Der hauseigene Riesling war ebenso sehr lecker. Das ganze Serviceteam war äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam, wir waren sehr zufrieden und von dem Blick auf Schloss Neuschwanstein von unserem Tisch begeistert!

We ate at Lisl one evening and had a mixed feeling afterwards. The welcome and the ambience with a view were very pleasant. The menu selection is reasonably large. Our starters were very good. The beef steak for the main course was unfortunately a disappointment as it was well done. After a note to the service, apart from the offer to prepare a new steak, I would have expected some concession, for example in the form of a dessert or drink. The grilled salmon wasn't a highlight either. Here our expectations were significantly higher with prices between €35-40 for the main courses.

The food was delicious, but there were so many bees that I couldn't concentrate. Two of them slipped into the drink and got mixed in (￣▽￣;)

First of all: Beautiful location with a great view of Neuschwanstein Castle and beautifully designed rooms Yeah. That's it... In summary: tasty food in small portions at horrendous prices with non-existent service. But our entire experience from the beginning: After we were assigned a table that was actually very nice and given the menu, we were initially ignored by the waiters... it took several attempts to get a waiter to notice us in order to even ask about the drinks menu. After we actually received these in a very friendly manner, it took some time until someone came to take our order. The second waiter that evening apologized for the wait because it didn't seem to be clear who was responsible for our table... that was very noticeable the rest of the evening. After we were allowed to place our order at some point, the food came very quickly. The drinks, on the other hand, didn't... even when the food was served, the third waiter of the evening didn't seem to notice that we hadn't had any drinks yet. With the thought "well, the food came so quickly. The drinks will certainly be brought straight away" we let the waiter go. A mistake...the drinks weren't brought. After repeated attempts to wave a waiter over to ask about the drinks, waiter number 2 came again. And we politely asked for our drinks. Equally friendly (no sarcasm) but equally confused, he asked if we hadn't received them yet. We don't answer "whether he would see these on our table" and simply say no. The drinks were then brought immediately but without another word. They were pretty tasty. The food, on the other hand, was ok... maybe a little salty but definitely not good enough for the price and even more clearly too small... but we'll chalk that up to a matter of taste and "we're just paying for the view and the location". (We did that to waiter number 4) It was significant that the empty plates and glasses were not cleared away or, as is usual in a good restaurant, that we were asked again whether we could have anything else... but we were more than served anyway... or not. Oh, a highlight in the decoration was the empty wine glasses and napkins on the window sill that hadn't been put away... we're still wondering whether that was supposed to be a style element or was forgotten to put away at a reception.

I came here really tired and hungry. But overall service is too slow. I waited a long time to even receive the menu, and it took close to 50 minutes for the food to come out after ordering. I asked for a wine list, but in the end they didn't bring it so I couldn't order. The staff tries to appear friendly, but it doesn't seem sincere. The food tastes too salty and tasteless. The restaurant outside the resort was actually better.

Three people visited and only one ordered the starter. The starter didn't come out until 30 minutes after ordering, and the main dish didn't come out until 40 minutes after we had each person's starter. The other two people just waited for over an hour. So, I asked the staff if my order had been placed and told them that I had waited too long, and they told me that I had only waited 30 minutes after the starter came out. His response was very unpleasant and my impression of the hotel seemed to have deteriorated. Of course, like some reviews, the overall service is slow, but when I compare the service speed with other tables, I think it might be racial discrimination.

Decent service. Well decorated restaurant but a very small menu and not much on the plate for a fairly high price. And the dishes are nothing exceptional.

We ordered food about 45 minutes in we asked about our food to which they never got back to us. After an hour, we asked again just for our waiter to tell us they didn't put our order in. Most incompetent waitstaff we had ever seen.

Terrasse und Restaurant leer, kein einziger Gast da, dennoch wurden wir durch einen hochnäsigen Kellner abgewiesen, da angeblich alles reserviert sei. Kein Reserviert-Schild auf irgendeinem Tisch zu entdecken. Wir waren angemessen gekleidet und höflich, für uns völlig rätselhaft.

Unfortunately we can only rate the service. This was not the case after 30 minutes. The table was neither cleared nor was the order taken. Even after repeated requests. The restaurant was only moderately busy at the time. 07/31/24: thank you very much for the answer. This is professional and makes yesterday's problem seem different. Ambiance is nice. Unfortunately we couldn't rate the food.

Ravioli was the best thing. Steak was not edible. Terrible lack of flavor and not tender at all. Their cocktails were great. Ravioli and cocktails got the 3 stars.

Very slow service and it takes a long time if you want to pay with card. Don’t go here if you are needing to get to the castle on schedule!

Nice to meet great service. The food is delicious, the reviews are not exaggerated. Greetings, nice waiter. This is not a roadside bar, but a restaurant, so the prices are not the lowest, but it is worth spending time for a very good dinner.

An avant garde “experience”, somewhat inspired by the local german cuisine, and tailored for the palette of the American tourist. Beautiful view of Neuschwanstein Schloss.

We stayed at AMERON for 4 nights with free breakfast. Breakfast was absolutely phenomenal! Different types of loose honey with separate mugs with filters, fresh honey in honeycombs, fruits, eggs, sausages, pastry, make your own muesli with high quality ingredients. They are really doing an amazing job with breakfast. We didn’t go for dinner because we like flexibility without day and every time we tried to reserve it, the only open times were 8:30 PM.

Stayed at the hotel and came here for dinner. The venison was excellent.

As hotel guests, we didn't get a place to eat and were turned away by a very unfriendly gentleman even though we had spoken to the reception beforehand. It's a shame but the service is unfortunately more of a motel level.

Pedimos uma truta “baked” e veio, tipo nuggets, fritas, decepcionantes, sem sabor!! O chef Daniel foi arrogante, não reconheceu a crítica! Experiência a não ser repetida!! Não recomendo!! Além do custo altíssimo para pratos tipo fast food!!

Sehr schlechte mufflige Entenbrust mit noch schlechteren Beilagen - Blaukraut roch sehr stark säuerlich wie Essig. Obwohl nach nur einem Bissen reklamiert verlangte der selbstgerechte Manager 50% des Preises. Als Ersatz - gegen EURO - gab es ein überteuertes Cordon Bleu, das alle Eigenschaften eines Friteusenschnitzels hatte. Der Manager beharrte darauf, dass man geliefert hätte. Ich fühlte mich betrogen und sehr schlecht behandelt.

Sorry but that was nothing! The service was ok but slow. The reserved table in the middle of the service corridor without any atmosphere and the food at pub level. My cordon bleu looked and tasted like frozen food that had been thawed and then fried. My wife's lake trout were heavily breaded and fatty fried mini pieces like bad fish and chips. No attention to detail and no good food. Sorry, but we left very disappointed without dessert 🤷‍♂️

Service takes ages… food is average… if there is no other option… so be it..

The service was friendly, courteous and personable. The food was an absolute dream: The beef tartare is elegantly seasoned. The parmesan and bread chips on the side added an excellent crunch. The meat in the Game² was cooked optimally, the side dishes and the gin jus rounded it off harmoniously. The ox cheek literally melted in your mouth like butter. I have never eaten such airy Kaiserschmarrn! And the sorrel sorbet is a dream!

After the bitter disappointment the day before in the Bräustüberl, excellent today! Very nice atmosphere and service plus delicious food. That's the way it has to be.

Certainly not a star restaurant, but you get pretty good food for expensive money. Unfortunately, they sell a little above the standard. Unfortunately, level of service is decreasing massively in Germany. If you go to a restaurant in Norway as a comparison, you will receive very “intensive” advice. The employee also comes and presents the card. Sommelier always recommends suitable wines. The chef stops by and asks if it was tasty. To be honest, there is a bit too much emphasis on mass here, and quality suffers massively as a result. There are certainly some good approaches too. Atmosphere is good, tables are not too close together, no intrusive and loud music in the background. If only the food still tasted delicious... Think about it.

Delicious and beautiful but seriously overpriced food. You definitely pay a premium given the location. The wines were so expensive and we thought it was a bit cheeky they didn’t show us a wine list but simply asked what kind we wanted and chose for us (given this we expected the house and house price). Once we converted the bill back to aussie dollars we nearly died.

A wonderful place to feast and enjoy! Every time we visit Ameron Neuschwanstein, we look forward to the delicious breakfast in the Lisl Restaurant in the morning 😀 Lisl offers an extensive selection of savory and sweet delicacies, freshly prepared omelettes with desired ingredients, muesli and other breakfast cereals, pancakes, fruit, various types of yoghurt - there is something for everyone! The selection of tea and coffee specialties is also simply great! A highlight in the morning and the best start to the day 👍🏻 In addition to the culinary enjoyment, the service is also top! Walter, Maria and the entire team are very friendly, attentive and fulfill almost every wish 😀 we always feel very well looked after and cared for - thank you very much for that! We are already looking forward to our next visit to beautiful Schwangau and wish the entire Lisl and Ameron team all the best! See you soon 😀

Very good food at a fair price. Also extremely friendly, diligent and courteous staff. Neuschwanstein can be seen from the dining room.

Outstanding restaurant manager and great food - wonderful to see that, despite all the challenges in the catering industry, there are young, committed people who embody everything this industry should stand for and why we guests (hopefully) love it so much!

This place does not accept outside guests, we waited for long and no server was around to answer our query, later was told by an extremely busy staff person that this place is open only for hotel guests, was misled by the google listing and wasted good amount of our time here.

We went there for dinner last night. We had reserved, but our table wasn't ready yet. We were treated to an aperitif in the great bar while we waited. The food was very tasty and the staff was very accommodating. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back when we are in the area!

Klare 5/5 Bewertung, das Essen ist einfach auf einem anderen Level hier! Sehr feines Handwerk von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert (die Erdbeer Tarte war einfach nur der wahnsinn!). Vielen Dank, Lisl!

Wir waren im Lisl, um das Restaurant für eine Veranstaltung zu testen. Die zur Verfügung stehenden Räumlichkeiten sind unterschiedlich ausgestattet, allesamt aber sehr stilvoll und gemütlich. Der Service war professionell und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war durchgängig sehr gut und wurde dem Anspruch des Fine Dining gerecht. Wir freuen uns auf unsere Veranstaltung dort

Ein schönes Restaurant mit netten und hilfsbereiten Kellnern. Nur leider hat uns beim Kalbsschnitzel überhaupt nicht gefallen, dass die Panade dicker war als das Fleisch. Zuerst kommen zwei schöne dicke Schnitzel an, kurz darauf zerfallen sie und im Inneren ist das Fleischstück ein paar Millimeter dünn. Sehr schade… Das vegane Essen war ok, aber es hat mich nicht begeistert.

Wir waren im Januar 2023 im Lisl. Freundlicher, professioneller Service. Das Servicepersonal kann kompetente Empfehlungen geben. Die Präsentation der Gerichte war sehr gut und der Geschmack hervorragend. Das alles hat natürlich seinen Preis. Aber wie sagt man bei uns in Franken? Von Nix kommt Nix ;-) Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Auswahl an offenen Weinen ist etwas beschränkt. Nicht jeder will gleich eine ganze Flasche trinken. Aus meiner Sicht klare Besuchsempfehlung, wenn man bereit ist, etwas tiefer in das Portmonee zu greifen.

Service was excellent. The food itself is competently made and well presented, but not exceptionally special considering the asking price.

Zu erst möchte ich das freundliche und sehr zuvorkommende Servicepersonal hervorheben, dieses hebt meine Bewertung von 4 auf 5 Sterne. Speisen auf einem hochwertigen Niveau, auf einen Extrawunsch wurde ohne Probleme eingegangen. Leider war der Hauptgang meiner Frau nicht ganz warm, dies kam durch einen nicht vorgewärmten Teller, dem Problem wurde sofort auf den Grund gegangen und wir haben einen Espresso aufs Haus bekommen.

Bin zum wiederholten Male hier essen gewesen und was soll ich sagen... ein sehr großes Lob an den Küchenchef und seine Crew! Ein perfekt abgeschmeckter Allgäuer Pflücksalat mit Ziegenkäse gefolgt vom besten Rehrücken, den ich seit Jahren gegessen habe. Dazu eine sehr gute Weinempfehlung und entspanntes und freundliches Servicepersonal! Selten hat mir ein Gericht so lange Freude bereitet wie das Reh, einfach perfekt und wunderbar, selbst am nächsten Morgen trieb mir die Erinnerung ein Lächeln ins Gesicht :)

Ein nettes Restaurant, mit stilvollen Eigenkreationen auf der Karte, befindlich im Ameron Neuschwanstein. Besonders danken möchte ich Frau Pooja Katariya, als äußerst professionelle Gastgeberin bescherte sie mir und meiner Begleitung einen ganz zauberhaften Abend.

Hatte das Tartar und danach das 60 Stunden gegarte Rinderschaufelbug, was ein Genuss! Sehr freundlicher Service und dazu noch der Blick auf Neuschwanstein, großartig 👏

Wir waren von der Qualität sehr positiv überrascht! Das Restaurant liegt zwar direkt an der größten Touristenattraktion Deutschlands, aber sie bringen zu einem sehr fairen Preis richtig leckere Gerichte zum Tisch. Der Kellner und die Managerin waren äußerst freundlich, schnell, und zuvorkommend. Sehr zu empfehlen.

This is a great restaurant in the Ameron Neuschwanstein Alpsee hotel. The ambience is wonderful, nice jazz music is the background music, patrons speak quietly, the food is top quality, the service is great, and the sommelier is extremely knowledgeable about German wines (and is a fourth-degree sommelier in Germon wines). The servers speak English and there is no issue with communication. We have eaten there twice now and both meals have been top notch.

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit leckeren Speisen und sehr gutem Service. Die Speisen waren lecker, wurden ansprechend präsentiert und serviert. Auf der Speisenkarte sollte jeder etwas passendes finden. Die Getränkekarte lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Preis/ Leistung im Lisl ist angemessen. Großes Lob an den Service. Obwohl das Restaurant ausgebucht war lief der Service ohne Probleme. Alle waren sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Kommen gerne wieder.

Das Restaurant punktet besonders durch den wunderschönen Ausblick, auch das Interieur ist modern und schick, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Service war sehr nett, wir hätten uns jedoch einen insgesamt aufmerksameren Service gewünscht und waren auch verwundert, dass die für uns zuständige Kellnerin (beziehungsweise Kellner) mehrfach wechselte. So wurden wir erst gefragt ob es uns schmecke und alles recht sei, als wir von uns aus die Kellnerin mit der Frage nach Desserts zu uns gewinkt haben, nachdem wir den Hauptgang bereits aufgegessen hatten. Leider waren die Kellner*innen zuvor nicht entsprechend aufmerksam, obwohl wir (nach unserem Geschmack etwas ungünstig) direkt an einer Durchgangstür platziert worden waren, an der im Minutentakt die Kellner*innen an uns vorbeigingen. Das Essen war gut, jedoch nicht dem Preis entsprechend. Hier hätten wir uns mehr Finesse und Geschmack gewünscht. Es schmeckte eher nach Standard in "vornehm"-kleinerer Portion. Als Fazit haben wir unseren zweiten Restaurant-besuch nach Füssen verlegt.

Gister hier gegeten. Stevige prijs voor de gerechten! Als voorgerecht salade 13.00 en 4,00 meerprijs voor 4 stukjes avocado… 27,50 voor 2 dunne stukken wiener schnitzel met een paar gebakken aardappeltjes en verder geen groenten ofzo erbij . De wortel/gembersoep was wel heel lekker! De bediening leek ons steeds te vergeten. En vulde de wijnglazen 0,2 ml in 1 keer, dat drinkt niet echt lekker en verwacht je zeker niet in een restaurant van t niveau wat ze willen uitstralen . Als dan n kopje thee besteld wordt maar n kannetje thee a 7,50 geserveerd wordt , is t voor ons helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar

Das Essen in Lisl Restraurant ist ein Gedicht! Der Koch versteht auf jeden Fall sein Handwerk. Sehr empfehlenswert! Hinzu kommt das tolle Ambiente und die sehr freundliche Bedienung. Ich freue mich jetzt schon wieder auf das nächste Mal!

Eine Filetsteak in der Höhe eines Schnitzels, 3 matschige Garnelen und alles ertränkt in Erbsenpüree für knapp 40 Euro. Nicht zu empfehlen. Beim zweiten Gericht gab es verbrannte Bratkartoffeln aus der Friteuse zum Kalbsschnitzel. Immerhin war der Kellner freundlich. Aber für den Preisanspruch reicht es leider nicht. Schade, die Lage und der Ausblick sind wirklich toll.

Wir durften an einem Tisch mit dem perfekten Blick auf das Schloss platz nehmen. Charmanter Service hat uns gut betreut und das bestellte Essen war ausgezeichnet - wie an es bei Althoff erwartet und kennt. Weinkarte mit gten Gewächsen.

Wir hatten einen schönen Tisch mit Blick auf das beleuchtete Schloss, das war aber auch schon das Positive. Für den aufgerufenen Preis wurden wir leider sehr enttäuscht. Das Essen an sich war nicht schlecht, aber den Preis nicht wert. Aus unserer Sicht war das Essen schon vorbereitet und wurde nur noch im Konvektomat heiß gemacht. Das erklärt auch die Geschwindigkeit des Service. Service generell sehr aufgestellt, wobei auch hier die Wahl bewusst gelenkt wurde. Am Ende fehlte z.B. Salz/Pfeffer beim Hauptgang. Dessert war belanglose Massenware ohne Erklärung, als wäre es aus der Kantine nebenan gekommen. Die Audis und BMWs am Eingang vermitteln Luxus, das Essen gesundstoßen auf Kosten der Gäste.

Die Auswahl des Essens ist klassisch und modern zugleich und trifft somit jeden Geschmack. Einige Gerichte können entweder als Vor- oder als Hauptspeise gewählt werden. Der Service ist überaus freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir waren daher an zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen hier sehr gut abends essen.

Wir waren als Familie zu dritt Abends im Lisl essen. Der Empfang war freundlich, das Ambiente sehr vornehm (abhängig vom Teil des Restaurants, es gibt auch die Richtung urig). Die Bedienung war nett und das Essen wirklich ausgesucht gut! Wir haben für den übernächsten Tag wieder reserviert! Daumen definitiv hoch!!

Piatti della cucina tipica bavarese e piatti internazionali molto ben cucinati e presentati. Ottimo il servizio molto attento. Prezzi elevati in linea con la struttura molto ricercata.

Merita una sosta culinaria. Piatti preparati con sapienza ed eleganza, vista spettacolare sul castello, parking gratuito a 5 metri, servizio impeccabile. Sicuramente prezzo di fascia alta, ma ci siamo permessi un eccellente vino rosso del Rodano, da accompagnare al petto d'anatra, squisito ed alla bistecca con i funghi finferli. Da provare, almeno una volta, ristorante tre livelli sopra agli altri, nella località bavarese.

Sehr stilvolles Restaurant mit einem einzigartigen Ausblick auf das Schloss Neuschwanstein. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Ein Hit: die Weinkarte in Tablet Form. Die Speisen waren super lecker, die Portionen allerdings sehr klein, sodass man definitiv 3 Gänge essen musste um satt zu werden. Doch das ist überhaupt nicht schlimm, da jeder Gang voll und ganz überzeugen konnte.
