Super nice service. Personally, I wasn't particularly impressed by the food. I had something with sauce that tasted very artificial to me and my husband's schnitzel didn't look homemade. On the whole you can go but next time I'll have a dish without sauce ;) Price performance ok!

The food was ok. The prices - in our opinion - clearly too high. E.g. over 16 euros for a Kaiserschmarrn? Finding a parking space - catastrophic, probably also due to the campsite immediately afterwards. The service came every 5 minutes and asked if we would like anything else. The glasses were still half full. We felt pressured to finally pay to make room for other guests. Maybe things are different outside of the holiday season. Otherwise the service was very nice, no long waiting times for the food.

We read the review from 4 days ago and luckily formed our own opinion. We therefore cannot understand the assessment. The pizzas were very good. From the stone oven as it should be and already thin. The sausage salad was also great and plentiful. We were very satisfied.

Actually a visually pretty inn, but the parking situation around it is catastrophic! The girls in service are really on their toes. The food arrived 'quickly' (almost scary - after less than ten minutes) and was tasty too. However, they have obviously miscalculated the prices a little or think they are in the upscale gastronomic sector: A normal-sized Cordon Blue with fries (€ 19.90) plus a side salad (€ 7.50!!!) + gravy (€ 3! !!) cost a total of €30.40! That's definitely far too much in a restaurant where mainly camping holidaymakers eat. The fact that you can no longer reserve "explicitly outside" after 6 p.m. is rather unusual and not very customer-oriented. Therefore, unfortunately only two stars in the overall rating and the insight gained that it would be better to go somewhere else in the future - a shame!

The Brunnenstüberl is a place with good food and coziness. The food is very tasty and there is something for everyone. The service was warm and courteous. We'll definitely be back next year. We wish the whole team a good time

Today we picked up 5 pizzas to take away from the kiosk. Paid almost 60 euros. All I can say is save your money 💰. One of the worst pizzas I've had in a long time. Every cent is worth it...a year ago it was really good, but today it's subpar.

I've been there three times now and each time I look forward to the incredibly good Neapolitan pizza with buffalo mozzarella! It comes quickly, like the other dishes. The service is great. Very friendly, accommodating and quick. The ambience creates a cozy balancing act between modernity and the rustic Bavarian character. Clear recommendation!

Very nice place, the land and sea pasta are excellent, the pizzas too. The pistachio tiramisu is a treat! I highly recommend! The atmosphere is warm and the seats are comfortable, our waitress was very nice and the service was fast!

Crusty roast with a bit of crust and hash browns from the pack or baked potatoes with a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of frozen grilled vegetables for 15 euros....... that could be much better. Conclusion: Only if you can't find anything better.

The interior decoration feels very new, and the toilet faucet allows you to wash your hands and blow dry them, which is cool! The potato soup has a mushroom flavor and is very delicious. The roasted chicken is very tasty without any seasoning. The French fries are delicious and not greasy. The ice cream after the meal is solid and rich, delicious! The beer tastes good too. The only uncomfortable thing is that there are always a few flies flying around, but these flies are a bit clumsy and can be easily eliminated. After dinner, it’s nice to walk for a minute to the lakeside and experience the leisurely leisurely nature of lakeside tourists playing in the water and lying in the sun.

Parking on Saturday on a beautiful sunny day is one thing, but a nice walk along the water is definitely worth it. The food was very tasty, but we did not find the man who helped us friendly. He seemed very rushed, we were not given a map, which also gave us a rushed feeling. The order was incorrect, the lady resolved this nicely, but here too the man seemed very sulky. Because we got everything one after the other, we asked where another dish was (everyone had already finished everything), the gentleman told us that this dish takes 10 to 15 minutes. No problem, but if we had reported this, we could have asked to receive everything at once. The prices are quite high. Tasty, but because of the service we won't be back anytime soon.

Walked there from Schwangau, there was a delicious BBQ burger with fries, a cold non-alcoholic wheat, the service was very friendly, a rustic older gentleman was very personable. The toilet is in the basement, not for people with walking disabilities. Eaten outside in half shade/half sun. Inside, rustic yet modern furnishings. Everything was fine, thank you very much.

The Brunnenstüberl is not just a restaurant, it is a sacred restaurant of good taste. Let's start with the Wiener Schnitzel. This masterpiece was crispy, tender and perfectly seasoned. It was like a piece of heaven had been placed on my plate. And then came the Kaiserschmarrn. Oh, the Kaiserschmarrn. Not from this world. Angels themselves prepared this divine dessert and served it to me on a cloud. Fluffy, sweet and with a texture that can only be described as heavenly. It was the culmination of a meal that I will never forget. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambience? Cozy and welcoming, the perfect place to feel at home. The Brunnenstüberl is a must for anyone with even the slightest taste. You leave this place not only full, but also happy and a little bit in love with the world.

I celebrated my birthday on July 3rd, I can say that it was very nice, all my guests felt very good, the food was excellent, and all the service people were very kind and made us feel very good. The prices are decent compared to other restaurants. We will gladly come back to you. Once again, thank you for making us feel very good.

By going early enough in the evening you can still dine without a reservation. Pleasantly surprised by the mix of old and new. Bavarian coziness but a modern interior. Wide variety of honest dishes at reasonable prices. Pleasant reception. Located in a beautiful area on the Forggensee.

The food is absolutely delicious and a great portion. We had the ribs and the pork with sour cabbage and dumplings, both were perfectly done. The service was super nice and fast. The ambiance is beautiful and cozy and the view to the lake is amazing too.

One of the best places I've ever eaten at!! It's authentic from start to finish. Particularly noteworthy is the great staff, who are extremely friendly, very quick and, above all, casual! Speaking of which, this probably has the tastiest Neapolitan pizzas outside of Italy. 😉

End of December 2017 After visiting Neuschwanstein Castle, on the way to the Pilgrimage Church of Weiss, we had lunch first. We had roast chicken with beer. However, foreigners don’t tend to pursue crispy skin when it comes to roast chicken, but the meat is still tender and juicy, even with beer. It tastes very good, the taste is relatively strong, the alcohol concentration is slightly higher, and the aroma of wheat is more obvious. Like it! After lunch, you can set off on your own and walk to the church!

Hello dear Brunnenstüberl team, we spent 10 days on holiday in Brunnen in May and were your guests 5 times. We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday with 9 people and a few days later also my girlfriend's birthday. What can I say...complete satisfaction from all guests, very good food, best drinks and, above all, very friendly staff. Particularly noteworthy is Fruzsina, who is really good at it and knows how to entertain the guests. Everything went smoothly from the champagne reception to dessert. The prices are a little higher than we know but the quality of the food was top notch. Small note at the end...We left 500 euros on one evening, a little nightcap on the house at the end of the birthday would have been nice, but it doesn't detract from our consistently positive impression of the house. Keep it up and we'll definitely see each other again.

Es wird gutbürgerliches, deftiges und tendenziell bayerisches Essen serviert. Es herrscht ein gemütliches und rustikales Ambiente, es ist unkompliziert. Es hat auch eine Terrasse und einen Wintergarten mit Holztischen. Das Besteck ist in Bierkrügen auf den Tischen und man kann/muss sich selbst davon nehmen. Abends an den Wochenenden muss man unbedingt vorher reservieren. Unter der Woche über Mittag ist es ruhiger und es war ohne Reservation möglich, den Tisch auszuwählen. Die Bedienung ist nett, zuvorkommend und flink. Wir mussten nie lange auf das Essen warten. Es gab ansprechend grosse Portionen. Das Essen schmeckte gut und wir haben die Mahlzeiten genossen. Gerne ein anderes Mal wieder.

During our stay at the campsite we also visited the newly designed Brunnenstüberl, the atmosphere is very nice and you feel very comfortable. The food is very good, the portions are generous. The selection is extensive, and what should be highlighted is the large selection of special wines. The service is very friendly and accommodating, we can definitely recommend this restaurant.

We ate in the Brunnenstüberl with our children several times. It is a very nice restaurant with a great ambience and a view of Lake Forggensee. The staff was always super friendly and the food was excellent and delicious. The price/performance ratio is correct. We felt very comfortable and would definitely like to come back!

Price-performance is great! We had the crackling roast and the pork medallions. Very tasty! Portion size is appropriate. Even without a reservation, the lady at reception found a nice table for us. The only point of criticism: Next time it would be nice if the waiter didn't just walk away without saying a word after receiving the money. We would have preferred a “have a nice evening”. We'll put it down to stress.

Absolutely recommended. After extensive renovation work, the restaurant reopened last week. The ambience is very nice. All the waitresses were very nice and accommodating. We also felt in good hands with our two children. We had the currywurst and the crusty roast. Both were freshly prepared and fresh food was also used. The sausage comes from the farmer next door. The portion size was also above average. Again any time!

We ate here on Easter Monday, a very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and the food was excellent. The Kässpatzen came with an excellent side salad. We'd love to come back!

As a vegetarian, I usually only have a salad, Kaiserschmarrn or spaetzle in good, home-style Bavarian cuisine. Here today I had a super tasty vegan paella, beautifully presented and even warmed plates (which aren't available everywhere). Big compliments to the kitchen. Also compliments to the service, everyone was very nice. Keep it up.

We came over spontaneously on December 31st, 2023 because our guesthouse was next door. A bit careless without a reservation, but a nice waitress made it possible. She really took her time (we were there before the crowds) and even made sure (by phone) that we had enough time before guests with reservations took up their slot. The New Year's Eve menu (3 courses) was of a high quality, and the regular guests from the adjacent campsite will probably also be satisfied in terms of quantity. Successful balancing act! Modern, rustic atmosphere. I really liked the Christmas decorations/lights! Service in our case was of course outstanding! The remaining guests also looked satisfied... clear recommendation!
