We are torn. Had dinner there and it was really good. Schnitzel is really great and so are the fries. I would have liked the cream sauce to be creamier, but still completely fine and delicious. The mushrooms could have been fried a little better. But still nothing I'm unhappy with. That's why we ordered pizza to take away the next day. Our expectations were high here and were not met at all. The spicy pizza was just full of hot chili oil and the pepperoni was missing. The Quattro Fromaggi was very overloaded with cheese and simply topped with a thick chunk of Parmesan - and therefore very greasy. Overall, the pizzas weren't very “Italian”. But the base of the pizza, for example, was great! Mhh, what can you say? There are shortcomings, but... hmm Staff and atmosphere particularly good and accommodating. There's nothing you can say. I would have loved to have given more stars. But somehow it's not all that round.

Absolute recommendation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great ambience - a mix of rustic and modern, just to feel good. The service was always very warm, attentive and quick. The food was very tasty, a good selection of different regional dishes and also international ones such as pizza. The portions were decent and the prices were reasonable. If you are in the area, you should definitely go there. It is advisable to reserve in advance as the restaurant is very busy. Thumbs up 👍🏼

Today we went to the Brunnenstüberl relatively spontaneously. A quick call in advance made it possible for us to eat there in the evening. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and tasted excellent. The furnishings are very cozy & modern rustic. We'd love to come back.

Nice restaurant, great location right on Lake Forggensee. Delicious food with relatively fair prices. Very nice staff who serve quickly. The two of us shared a sausage salad, the portion was enough to fill us both up. ☺️ There are enough parking spaces and bike racks nearby.

Everything fits there, good cuisine, friendly and fast service, cozy atmosphere. As it is always busy, we recommend booking a table early. After almost exactly a year, we were guests at the inn again for seven evenings. A table was always reserved the day before. Nothing has changed in the overall impression, we ate well and were served very friendly and quickly. There was nothing in the slightest to complain about. We'll be back! Thanks to everyone who took care of our well-being!

After our trip to Neuschwanstein Castle, we (3 adults and a dog) were looking for a typical Bavarian restaurant. We chose the Brunnenstüberl because of the good reviews. We were greeted and looked after in a more than friendly manner, the food was first class and the sanitary facilities were also super clean. Anyone in the region should definitely stop by here. I would give more stars if I could. Rarely seen such a good restaurant. Tip: There was still something free for us, but it's better to reserve a table beforehand.

Unfortunately the food didn't taste good at all. I'm sorry to say, but it would have tasted better out of the package. The drinks tasted good and it's really nice here, which is why we were so disappointed with the food. The staff was also super nice and always tried hard, but also a little lazy. After a bit of a wait, we were accommodated when our reservation didn't work out, despite a confirmation email. Unfortunately not recommended. The pizza dough wasn't done either. Please save your money!

We spent our vacation at the campsite in Brunnen. The small, cozy restaurant right on the square is simply great. Service friendly and accommodating. The food is the best we have been served in this region. In the afternoon you can still get a table even without a reservation. Later it gets a little more difficult, but they always try to find a solution. Better reserve.

Leider wurde das Schnitzel nicht frisch nach der Bestellung geklopft, die Pommes waren alt und noch mal in der Friteuse aufgewärmt. Sämtliche Essen waren nicht ausreichend gewürzt. Bedienung war nett.

Four of us had reserved, which is definitely recommended. The waitresses are friendly and always have a quick saying on their lips. The food was great and beautifully prepared. The portions are sufficient and the price is reasonable. The ambience is Bavarian modern, the view into the open kitchen is unusual but quite interesting. Because of the adjacent campsite, a lot of food is sold outside the home, and you could see the kitchen staff doing their routine work, even at peak times. Respect what is being achieved there.

Warm welcome, super cozy, modern atmosphere, very friendly and attentive service staff. We immediately felt at home in the Brunnenstüberl. The food was very tasty, generous portions. It should be emphasized that there are different bags (depending on age) with games etc. for children to borrow. There were already pens and the children's menus to color on the tables.

Restaurant Brunnenstüberl was a great experience! The service was incredibly friendly and hospitable, and they even took extra time and attention for our dog, which we really appreciated. The food was delicious and well presented, with a varied menu and fresh ingredients. The cozy atmosphere and the nice terrace made it complete. A place where you really feel welcome - we will definitely come back!

Wiener Schnitzel bestellt - mit Pommes Frites Von der Bedienung wurde nicht gefragt, ob vom Schwein oder Kalb. Was kam, war Schnitzel vom Schwein m Pommes Fazit: Pommes versalzen und in sehr gebrauchtem Fett fritiert- 0 Punkte Schnitzel war definitiv vom Schwein….. auch sehr fettig geschmeckt Abgerechnet wurde ein Getränk und das Essen, allerdings Kalbsschnitzel- habe es leider zu spät gemerkt. Keine Empfehlung !!!!!!

Hello, we ate at the Brunnenstüberl every evening for a week at the beginning of September 24th. Conclusion: the food is, without exception, super delicious. Well prepared. There was nothing we could have complained about. Special requests were fulfilled. The calzone was great, as was the meatloaf or salmon on rösti. All recommended. You also have to mention the great staff. Friendly with a smile on their face and very quick to serve you. Special greeting goes to Cörli, the best waiter in the world. It was very nice with you. Super nice service. Personally, I wasn't particularly impressed by the food. I had something with sauce that tasted very artificial to me and my husband's schnitzel didn't look homemade. On the whole you can go but next time I'll have a dish without sauce ;) Price performance ok!

The food was ok. The prices - in our opinion - clearly too high. E.g. over 16 euros for a Kaiserschmarrn? Finding a parking space - catastrophic, probably also due to the campsite immediately afterwards. The service came every 5 minutes and asked if we would like anything else. The glasses were still half full. We felt pressured to finally pay to make room for other guests. Maybe things are different outside of the holiday season. Otherwise the service was very nice, no long waiting times for the food.

Wir hatten uns auf die Pizza gefreut, leider vergebens. Sie schmeckt nach nix und der Käse ist nicht zerlaufen Beide Pizzen total verbrannt Da wir sie nach Hause geholt hatten hätten wir mal besser nachschauen sollen bei der Übergabe. Schade . Warum wird sowas rausgegeben????? Unmöglich. Eine Pizza kostet durchschnittlich 16 Euro und nun landet sie in der Biotonne.

We read the review from 4 days ago and luckily formed our own opinion. We therefore cannot understand the assessment. The pizzas were very good. From the stone oven as it should be and already thin. The sausage salad was also great and plentiful. We were very satisfied.

Today we picked up 5 pizzas to take away from the kiosk. Paid almost 60 euros. All I can say is save your money 💰. One of the worst pizzas I've had in a long time. Every cent is worth it...a year ago it was really good, but today it's subpar.

Actually a visually pretty inn, but the parking situation around it is catastrophic! The girls in service are really on their toes. The food arrived 'quickly' (almost scary - after less than ten minutes) and was tasty too. However, they have obviously miscalculated the prices a little or think they are in the upscale gastronomic sector: A normal-sized Cordon Blue with fries (€ 19.90) plus a side salad (€ 7.50!!!) + gravy (€ 3! !!) cost a total of €30.40! That's definitely far too much in a restaurant where mainly camping holidaymakers eat. The fact that you can no longer reserve "explicitly outside" after 6 p.m. is rather unusual and not very customer-oriented. Therefore, unfortunately only two stars in the overall rating and the insight gained that it would be better to go somewhere else in the future - a shame!

I've been there three times now and each time I look forward to the incredibly good Neapolitan pizza with buffalo mozzarella! It comes quickly, like the other dishes. The service is great. Very friendly, accommodating and quick. The ambience creates a cozy balancing act between modernity and the rustic Bavarian character. Clear recommendation!

Wir waren mit 11 Personen zum Abendessen, alles war bestens vorbereitet, obwohl wir unterschiedliche Bestellungen hatten gab es keine längeren Wartezeiten. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, ein gelungener Abend mit der Familie.

Richtig gutes Essen und super Service! Wie waren Gäste auf dem dazugehörigen Campingplatz und waren dort mehrmals, auch mit unserem Besuch essen. Ob der Cheeseburger, Kinderschnitzel, Gulasch, Cordon Bleu oder die Pizzen to Go... Alles super lecker. Der Service war sehr freundlich und richtig flott! Gerne wieder.

I'm going to give the grilled half chicken 6 stars. Besides being delicious, it’s still delicious. Delicious. The pre-meal soup is also delicious. Desserts are also delicious. There is a lake in front of the restaurant. You can go shopping after dinner.

Crusty roast with a bit of crust and hash browns from the pack or baked potatoes with a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of frozen grilled vegetables for 15 euros....... that could be much better. Conclusion: Only if you can't find anything better.

The interior decoration feels very new, and the toilet faucet allows you to wash your hands and blow dry them, which is cool! The potato soup has a mushroom flavor and is very delicious. The roasted chicken is very tasty without any seasoning. The French fries are delicious and not greasy. The ice cream after the meal is solid and rich, delicious! The beer tastes good too. The only uncomfortable thing is that there are always a few flies flying around, but these flies are a bit clumsy and can be easily eliminated. After dinner, it’s nice to walk for a minute to the lakeside and experience the leisurely leisurely nature of lakeside tourists playing in the water and lying in the sun.

Parking on Saturday on a beautiful sunny day is one thing, but a nice walk along the water is definitely worth it. The food was very tasty, but we did not find the man who helped us friendly. He seemed very rushed, we were not given a map, which also gave us a rushed feeling. The order was incorrect, the lady resolved this nicely, but here too the man seemed very sulky. Because we got everything one after the other, we asked where another dish was (everyone had already finished everything), the gentleman told us that this dish takes 10 to 15 minutes. No problem, but if we had reported this, we could have asked to receive everything at once. The prices are quite high. Tasty, but because of the service we won't be back anytime soon.
