My wife and I are regular guests at Michl. Great ambience, tastiest Swiss sausage salad in the area, and always nice service. For a change, in addition to the well-known local breweries, there is also freshly tapped Guinness and Irish Red. If capacity allows, you can also get extensive advice on whiskey and gin. Last but not least, you also have to emphasize the friendliness of every single employee. Rarely have we felt at home in a restaurant from the first visit, but we immediately felt at home in the room. P.S. to the commenter who was supposedly ripped off: If you don't get absolutely drunk, you could calculate the calculation in your head and report accordingly if there is a calculation error. Nothing like that has ever happened to us in recent years, even when the place was packed to capacity.

Dear Gunda, dear team! THANK YOU for making our day exactly as we imagined it. From the champagne reception to the currywurst with fries at night, it was exactly our wedding!! First of all, a big thank you to the waiter who still found us a table because all the places were booked but we didn't know that and we just went there but the waiter didn't throw us out and still found us a table 😉 The food is very tasty and very large portions. I would have given it 5* but a small drawback was that the waiters don't speak any other language than German but luckily I know a little bit and we got the food ordered. A bigger drawback is that most of the dishes have fries as a side dish, but this is definitely not typical of German cuisine and I would have expected fried or oven-baked potatoes. When I come back I will definitely visit again, greetings from Estonia. I actually liked the kebab shop. But the sauces are becoming fewer and the salads are getting smaller.

Very tasty food and extremely friendly, competent staff

We were there for dinner in a group of 4 on Saturday evening. Unfortunately, we were only served after about 25 minutes because the service staff overlooked us. In general, the service seemed overwhelmed! The food was okay and tasted good, so the price/performance ratio was ok. However, the salad was soaked in ready-made dressing and didn't taste good. Many ingredients looked and tasted like ready-made products.
