Amazing food and amazing staff.. really loved it..

Everything in the food was extremely fresh including the fresh ginger and real cinnamon in the rice. Food was a very generous serving enough for two people almost. Service was excellent and attentive. It's location is typically Weiden(next to a lot of cars and tall old buildings however that's Weiden). Would definitely recommend and return here

Ganesha is my absolute favorite restaurant in Schwandorf! It is delicious and fresh and based on Indian cuisine. The service is always friendly and the atmosphere is simply relaxing. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who likes REAL Indian food ❤️🥰

Delicious food, perfect value for money

From starters to dessert, we can only recommend everything here. From the greeting to the farewell, you are served in a nice and friendly manner and even special requests are always fulfilled without any problems. All in all, you can eat, drink and enjoy your time here in a relaxed and inexpensive way.

It was a first good impression, very well located from the historic center, old style buildings , cleanliness and personal, spoken english, italian, german and of course indian. Food very well served, tasty and spicy, beers were good and i had a super Rum aperitive. Second time went for early dinner at the outside private garden, very nice! Thanks for the attention, grazie! It was our first time at this restaurant. We decided to try something without meat and we were not disappointed. Both the soup and the dinner dish were delicious. Wonderfully seasoned and served. Professional and courteous service. There is a wide selection of dishes on the menu. We will definitely come back.

Four of us had dinner. The restaurant was well attended. But it usually works without a reservation. The selection of food and drinks is very large. The dishes were tasty and sufficient. Above all, the meat is always very tender and juicy. We really like going to this Indian place.

A very nice tandoori restaurant 💚 with many vegan dishes. Very comfortable and attractively designed. I really enjoy coming here. The courtyard garden is very inviting in summer. I would be very happy about vegan desserts.

We recently visited this Indian restaurant for the first time. It is located in the middle of Schwandorf, in a winding old building. It is nicely decorated and has a nice atmosphere. The staff was friendly, very tidy (tables are wiped very well when guests leave) and we received our drinks and food very quickly. We had a good meal there and will definitely stop by in the summer when you can sit outside.

We were there with family and kids. The ambience was warm during Christmas holidays time. Two gentlemen from Punjab and Uttarakhand in India, were very friendly and served us with grace. Food was super tasty. All tandoori items are very saucy, tasty and not dry. Rotis and Naan were very tasty. Strongly recommended this to my other family members in Bavaria. If you are in Schwandorf, don't miss this place. 5 star experience. We also got complimentary desserts and shots of old monk.

Large selection of good dishes, friendly staff. We have now tried several dishes and found them all to be excellent. You should reserve well in advance for a visit.

Got some takeout. The food was decent, but we had much better indian food at other places. Despite ordering very hot, the dish wasn't even spicy. We waited 15 minutes, since by the time they announced for us to pick it up the dinner wasn't ready. An optionally vegan dish we ordered as vegan contained cheese. Despite being avid eaters of indian food, multiple people had irritated stomachs afterwards. Overall, we cannot really recommend the place.

Atmosphere was great, food was under expectations but it worked. The young guy that works there was very weird and unfriendly, even after he become a tip did not say thank you or anything. Regarding food...ordered lamb (the most expencive dish) and I become small pieces that all fit in 1 spoon. The rest was potatoes and 1kg of rice. Feel ripped.

Wir waren zufrieden. Ein Ort wo auch der Hund mit reindarf. Das Personal war etwas überfordert und ist teilweise gerannt, auch waren die Ansagen hierfür zu laut. Essen war okay, auch wenn es etwas länger dauert hat. Mit Karte konnte man auch nicht zahlen. Vielleicht einen Zacken runterfahren und dafür mehr Ruhe und mehr menschliche Wärme reinbringen.

Sehr gutes Essen für einen fairen Preis. Auch für Handwerker gibt es eine Mittagskarte

Das Essen war wirklich lecker. Durch die übersichtliche Karte kannte man sich auch gut aus. Wie erwähnt war das Essen über die Vorspeise bis zum Hauptgang wirklich gut. Service dauerte etwas lange, ein Getränk wurde vergessen und es wirkte etwas unnahbar. Das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet

It's such a good experience with Ganesha in Schwandorf. Prices are good, staff is very polite and Professional. Food is tasty. Sometime you will feel quantity is not good but I will say go for quality then. Must visit.

Wir waren das erste Mal im Ganesha und saßen draußen auf der Terasse. Schon beim reingehen in den Hinterhof wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und zum Tisch geführt. Am Tisch haben wir noch gleich Sitzpolster für die Stühle erhalten, die Aufmerksamkeit fand ich sehr angenehm. Schnell erhielten wir die Speisekarte, die wirklich einige Gerichte in den verschiedensten Variationen bietet, ob Lamm, Hühnchen, vegetarisch oder Platten für 2 oder mehr Personen, hier wird jeder fündig. Selbstverständlich gibt es auch eine Reihe an Getränken zur Auswahl. Der Service war schnell, aufmerksam und sehr bedacht auf das Wohl seiner Gäste. Nach unserer Bestellung erhielten wir sehr schnell unser Essen. Ob es auch so schnell geht, wenn das Restaurant und die Terasse voll ist kann ich nicht beurteilen. Zum Essen selbst kann ich sagen, dass es sehr lecker war und die Portionen ausreichend waren. Ich empfehle das gefüllte Naanbrot mit Käse, hätte davon gerne noch 5 genommen. Auch die kleinen Soßen welche zum Brot gereicht werden sind super, Achtung eine ist etwas schärfer das merkt man auch noch am nächsten Tag. Wir werden auf jedenfall wieder dort essen um auch die anderen Gerichte noch auszuprobieren.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, der Service aufmerksam und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Es ist ratsam, die Speisekarte schon vorab aus dem Internet zu downloaden, da sie sehr umfangreich ist. Vor Ort ist man sonst evtl. etwas überfordert...

Wir waren schon mehrfach hier und wurden nie enttäuscht. Das Essen ist immer hervorragend, der Service unaufdringlich, aufmerksam und freundlich. Der Außenbereich ist wunderschön, beinahe ein Geheimtipp.

Unglaublich gutes Essen und gute Portionsgrößen! Wenn man die Mittagskarte nutzen kann, hat man zwar nur eine begrenzte Auswahl an Gerichten, bekommt diese aber zu einem sehr vernünftigen Preis. Achja: wenn scharf neben dem Gericht stehen sollte, dann ist das auch scharf.

I ate Lamm Vindaloo, and the Madras, both of the dishes were very delicious and they were hot as they were supposed to be. Naan bread was excellent. Good service, and nice ambient.

Essen war seeehr lecker🤤 Es gibt reichlich Auswahl. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Preis/Leistung war top☝️ Könnten meines erachtens nach sogar 2€-3€ mehr verlangen. Das Ganesha Tandoori ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Die Lokalität ist nicht barrierefrei. Die Parkplätze sind begrenzt, jedoch gibt es in der Nähe ein günstiges Parkhaus.

Hier kann man richtig gut indisch essen gehen und das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön im indischen Stil gestaltet. Die Auswahl an Essen und Getränken ist groß, der Service ist freundlich und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältniss ist Top! Nur zu empfehlen 👍

Sehr freundliches Personal und eine schöne Ambiente . Das Essen ist sehr lecker und der Preis ist anpassend. Im Sommer gibt es auch einen schönen Garten , ich freue mich schon darauf .

An sich hat das Restaurant sehr viel Potential, denn das Essen ist sehr sehr lecker. Die Portionsgrößen sind dem Preis angemessen, außer vielleicht die Vorspeisen fallen etwas kleiner aus. Leider ein Stern Abzug für die Freundlichkeit des Personals, hier wäre der Kundenumgang noch ausbaufähig. In Summe ist ein Besuch dennoch lohnenswert.

Wir waren jetzt schon öfter im Genesha . Und freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal. Das Essen ist jedesmal eine positive Überraschung. Es ist wirklich absolut lecker. Von den verschiedenen Broten bis hin zu den Soßen. Alles sehr gut . Der Service ist jedesmal sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich. Ein Danke an das an das gesamte Ganesha Tandoori Team. 👍

Sehr leckeres Essen, viel Auswahl und netter Service.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, mit einer Gruppe (16 Freunde aus unserem Verein) im Ganesha zu speisen und war von der Qualität des Essens sehr beeindruckt. Die Gerichte waren alle sehr lecker und authentisch zubereitet. Das Personal war äußerst höflich und zuvorkommend und hat uns einen ausgezeichneten Service geboten. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, wie gut das Personal auf die Bedürfnisse einer Freundin mit Allergien eingegangen ist und sie bei der Auswahl von allergenfreien Gerichten beraten hat. Ich kann das Ganesha Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen und würde jederzeit wieder dort essen gehen. Das Essen und der Service waren einfach fantastisch (besonders Kokos Lassi) und haben unseren Abend zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht
