Nice quaint restaurant in the old town. Everything was fine, service was attentive. Food was okay but there is still room for improvement, at least with the food I had. :)

The food here is better than in most other Italian restaurants in Lohr. The chef simply has his own idea of ​​what goes together. I don't like thickly sliced ​​mushrooms on a carpaccio, and a little seasoning would have been good, too. The black pasta with octopus and asparagus would have been fine with some seasoning, too. Panna cotta with whipped cream is a no-go. Still, a lovely evening.

The atmosphere on site is really great and very inviting. Of course it's great outside in the summer and there are plenty of seats. The food is simply amazing! A very good selection and it tastes super fresh. The vegetables have a lot of bite and the portions are generous. I like to eat a little more and this is one of the few places where even I get full. You can't complain about the price either, the price-performance ratio is just right. Parking is possible in the parking garage, which has access just a few meters away. This is currently being remodeled, so we have to move a little further. But Schlossplatz is well located and walking to alternative parking spaces is not a problem if you are good on foot.

Very nice atmosphere, also ideal as a group. There is a side room for this if you register in time. The food is really good and the price is also okay. For my part, I unfortunately don't get full from a pizza or even a lasagne, but some say that my hunger is also inhumane. But people with normal stomachs should definitely be full. The only small drawback is that when you order food you get the typical knives you know. When I was eating a calzone once, I was struggling with the knife and had to have an employee bring me another knife that cut better. Perhaps this is a tip to the staff that they might change the cutlery for corresponding dishes. But it's complaining at a high level. Parking spaces are available, so you just have to drive a little further, there is a small plot of land directly behind the restaurant where you can park. Otherwise, there are other parking spaces within walking distance - even if you're not officially supposed to park there. But in the evening you can probably stand there and most people park there anyway (local people know where I mean). For those unfamiliar with the area: take a look near a few waste glass containers... but please only in the evening!

Auch eine Gruppe von über 20 Personen hat das sehr gute Essen zeitnah bekommen! Die Bedienung war überaus freundlich und hat uns gut versorgt ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Lediglich ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: Die WC's wirken schon etwas antiquiert (waren doch sauber!)

Worst McDonald's I've ever visited. The chicken nuggets and fries tasted like they'd been reheated five times – completely soggy, dry, and inedible. Absolutely disappointing. For a company of this size, it's simply embarrassing. Never again McDonald's in Lohr.

*An unfriendly encounter of the third kind* After I had an unfriendly encounter with the senior manager about 4 years ago, I was so naive and thought I would give the restaurant another chance. The hope that the whole thing was a misunderstanding on the first visit and that I might have caught the landlady on a bad day was dashed after just 30 seconds when I visited again. Theoretically, you don't have to sit 2 meters into the restaurant to hear the first stupid joke from the senior manager. I have never experienced such an unfriendly person in my entire life. The lady is literally waiting to get into trouble with the guests over some trivial matter. The young lady at the counter, on the other hand (junior manager), is extremely friendly. You can really feel sorry for the whole thing because she really tries hard and does her job well. However, it feels like she is busy dealing with the “mental chaos” caused by the senior boss full-time. Too bad! The location itself is extremely nice, the food is nothing special but also quite okay. Only the senior manager makes this restaurant a place that you should avoid. So if you value being treated as a guest (somewhat) like a normal person, you should avoid the restaurant. But if you like being bullied about every little thing, this place is just right for you! ♡
