Food the way it should be! We had a really good meal at the Gasthaus Grüner Baum – the portions were generous, the schnitzel was crispy, and the burger was juicy. I particularly enjoyed the classic, down-to-earth cuisine, where everything just worked out. The pizza served at the table was also a hit! The ambiance is rustic and inviting, ideal for a cozy evening. The service was friendly and quick – just a little more attentiveness would have given it a full score. Overall, a highly recommended place for honest, delicious home-cooked food!

Today we spontaneously went to the middle-class, rural Franconian inn for the first time. After the very friendly welcome, we were assigned a table and immediately asked what drinks we wanted. From the clear menu, we chose medium roast beef with mushrooms, diced bacon and fried onions, with fries and a mixed salad. The food came quickly. The plate is rustically arranged. The cut of the round meat was perfect. The weight announced on the card was significantly exceeded - without reweighing. The doneness was almost perfect. The quality of the meat was very good and the bite was very pleasant. The seasoning was great according to our taste. Very hearty. According to my taste, the fries were the best in recent years. No sticks but no big things either. Pleasantly crispy on the outside. Pleasantly soft and perfectly seasoned on the inside. The salad was good, as was the dressing with a subtle note of pepper. Overall, the portion was generous and the price was absolutely fair for the quality and almost too cheap. Prices correspond to the region. The calculation is the responsibility of the host. We'd love to come back and continue testing.

Wir waren nun schon mehrfach im Grünen Baum essen, das Ambiente ist ohne viel Schnickschnack und eher Rustikal, aber frisch renoviert und sauber. Ein besonderer Geheimtip ist das Roastbeef, sowohl die Fleischqualität an sich als auch die Zubereitung sind erste Klasse, und das wiederholbar! Das Fleisch war super Marmoriert, auf den Punkt Medium gebraten und sehr Geschmacksintensiv und saftig. Für etwas Vergleichbares bezahlt man in größeren Städten an die 40€, ich konnte es kaum glauben so ein gutes Roastbeef in einer "Gut Bürgerlichen" Gaststätte zu bekommen. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen der mal richtig gutes Rind essen möchte!

Schnitzel hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt, war verbrannt und sehr zäh, Qualität hat nicht gestimmt. Preise sind noch normal. Aber wenn es nicht schmeckt bringt das auch nichts. Pommes waren ok, Bedienung auch, sehr altes Ambiente, nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Sehr keckeres Essen,die Befienung war sehr freundlich und flott. Das Gasthaus ist einfach aber sauber. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Essen gut . Service könnte besser sein

Die Pizzeria liegt in einem Wohngebiet, ca. 1,5 km vom Zentrum Lohr entfernt. Wir haben nur im Biergarten gesessen und dort gut gegessen und getrunken. Leider hat der aktuelle Personalmangel wohl auch hier zugeschlagen, sodaß wir viel Zeit mit warten auf Bedienung verbracht haben.

Es war alles lecker, die Bedienung war sehr nett. Wenn ich mal wieder in der Gegend bin komme ich wieder vorbei.

Super freundliche Bedienung, super leckere Pizza, Immer wieder gerne

Meiner Meinung nach die beste Pizza in weitem Umkreis. Super leckerer knusprig dünner Boden. Auch Schnitzel oder Salate schmecken ausgezeichnet. Einfaches aber gemütliches Ambiente. Freundliche Bedienung. Auch für größere Feiern findet sich hier Platz. Bei warmen Wetter kann man schön im Freien sitzen.

Ein Restaurant: einfaches, aber richtig gutes Essen, was wir deutsche erwarte.

Das Essen schmeckt lecker. Die Portionen sind üppig. Die Preise sind sehr human. Also sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen wieder. 😊
