Super delicious food and very friendly service. The price is a bit high, but it's definitely worth the quality and service. We'd definitely go back...

Friendly service with an excellent local cuisine. Location is easily reached from the centre of town. Worth a short walk for a good lunch or dinner.

A superb guesthouse and inn. A very friendly welcome, and the owner even carried our bike bags. A bike garage is also available. The room was spacious and very clean. The old town is within easy walking distance. The breakfast is absolutely excellent and consists only of regional products. We felt very comfortable here, and even a small rebooking was no problem. We definitely recommend the Küferstube.

Excellent German cuisine that is second to none. There are all sorts of delicacies for both meat lovers and vegetarians. The service is always friendly and recommends dishes that match the season. I personally highly recommend the desserts as well. You really get value for your money here. A definite recommendation for every food lover.

I just went there spontaneously to eat, because it's right on the street. Got a seat without a reservation. Friendly service, food was good.

Today we went to the restaurant with 11 people without a reservation and it was great all around. The service is very professional and yet warm. The food tastes excellent. Everything was fresh and very nicely prepared. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. Highly recommended 👌

In der Küferstube scheint die Zeit still geblieben zu sein… Wäre nicht die anteilig moderne (und bequeme) Bestuhlung, erlebte man hier eine Zeitreise in die 60er. Also eigentlich genau das, was man sich von solch einem Gasthaus wünscht. Die Speisen sind qualitativ hochwertig, kein Fertigpamsch sondern frisch gekocht und zubereitet, fliegen einem die Köstlichkeiten entgegen. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die Wildgerichte! Die Preise für Speis und Trank sind erfreulich günstig, ohne jegliche Abstriche in Quantität oder Qualität. Mit Vorspeise und Hauptgericht geht hier jeder sehr gut gesättigt wieder hinaus. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

I'm just reporting on the restaurant. The food was good, but a bit too expensive for my taste. You rarely, if ever, find dishes for less than 15 euros. The welcome also took place in a spartan manner behind the counter. Friendly but also very reserved. But you can eat here and it tastes good.

You can eat well there, unfortunately since the internet isn't available, only guests who have booked a hotel room there have access to the in-house WiFi. I didn't understand that at all. Otherwise quite ok there

Went there because of the good reviews. The disappointment is great. The greeting didn't actually take place and genuinely friendly faces are rather sparse. The food was also rather mixed. Fries were very greasy and the rump steak was fried very differently. The service is not very attentive. All in all not recommended.

Beautiful historic inn. We had dinner here. Everything tasted good. Portions could be larger, especially more side dishes were not enough (only 2 dumplings). Staff was friendly, it was busy. Cleanliness was fine. There are enough parking spaces available.

Went there for dinner today, roast pork with dumplings and a robber's skewer with PMF and salad. First a liver dumpling soup. Drinks, delicious wine at a very good price, 0.25l is €4.10. Had a family celebration with 8 people. Appointments were possible at relatively short notice. The welcome was warm and the atmosphere was very good. The service in general is very good. We didn't have to wait long for the drinks. The food came quickly and for all at the same time even though the restaurant was full. The plates very well decorated. Tastes great. A culinary delight. Everyone enjoyed it. The portions are not generous, but completely sufficient. If you want to eat cheaply, this is the wrong place. We weren't here for the last time. We'd love to come back. 💥💥💥💥💥

We went to the Küferstube for dinner twice! It's super tasty, people here know how to handle good food. Be it steak, sirloin fillets or game, everything was perfect! The boss and staff were very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was very nice. There are also very good wines that made our evenings in the Küferstube perfect! Greetings from Alsace!

Came for dinner and was simply pleasantly surprised. Very tasty, cooked with love and time was taken for presentation and decoration. When you enter the dining room, you are initially greeted by the charm of the past, the staff are very accommodating, and the food is very homemade.

Franconian food and variety on the menu depending on the season. The service is excellent and competent. We like to go there to eat. I also always like to take the cans for home with me or give them as gifts. The cookies are wonderful too. The restaurant is rustic and very cozy. About 10 minutes walk from Lohr city center. There are also enough parking spaces. Such places must definitely be preserved. Or do we all just want to eat pizza and kebab??? Certainly not.

We ate original Franconian cuisine there for dinner. Homemade spaetzle with sauerkraut and cheese gratinated, Homemade spaetzle in baked egg and fried onions; plus a fresh salad with homemade dressing, super delicious. The landlord was friendly and very attentive and took the order quickly. A successful meal.

Gemütlich gesessen und lecker gegessen😉. Super nette und aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Essen... gut bürgerliche Küche... war sehr lecker und reichlich. Eine gemütliche Gaststube mit leckerem Essen. Die Küche hat durchgehend geöffnet, die hausgemachten Suppen kann ich nur empfehlen. Die Preise sind fair, die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und es stehen direkt vor dem Haus ausreichend Parkplätze zur Verfügung.

Zimmer sind Standard Gasthof, sauber und ordentlich. Essen und Gaststube super bürgerliche deutsche und fränkische Küche. Frühstück ist top. Ob Speisen oder Getränke, es wird alles versucht selbst herzustellen. Eigene Schlachtung. Willkommen in den 80ern und 90ern. Parkplätze und Biergarten.

Sehr guter Service, hervorragendes Essen zu angepassten Preisen. Leider für mich nur während meiner Besuche in Lohr zu besuchen. Komme aus der Vorderpfalz, aber der Spessart und Unterfranken sind meine Heimat.

Gutbürgerliche fränkische Küche. Hier schmeckt man, dass mit Liebe gekocht und bewirtet wird. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die selbstgemachten Schmanckerl. Wahnsinn, dass es in der heutigen Zeit noch so ein Juwel zu finden gibt. Vielen Dank dafür !

Wieder einmal die Küferstube, bekannt für die leckeren Gerichte, eine tolle Zwiebelsuppe und preiswerte Getränke wie eine Weinschorle für nur €2,70. Als ich das Restaurant betrat, fiel mir wieder die entspannte und gemütliche Atmosphäre auf. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und sorgte dafür, dass wir uns sofort wohl fühlten Ich entschied mich für die vegetarische Speisekarte und war begeistert von der Auswahl an Gerichten. Ich bestellte schließlich die Bärlauchknödel mit sehr gutem Gemüse Das Gericht war wirklich köstlich und sehr sättigend. Als Vorspeise bestellte ich die Zwiebelsuppe, die wirklich ein Highlight des Abends war. Die Suppe war reichhaltig und geschmackvoll, mit einer knusprigen Kruste aus Käse auf der Oberseite. Es war definitiv eines der besten Zwiebelsuppen, die ich je hatte. Als nächstes bestellte ich eine Weinschorle für nur €2,70. Ich war überrascht von dem Preis, da es schwierig ist, ein gutes Glas Wein für diesen Preis zu finden. Aber die Weinschorle war erfrischend und perfekt für das Essen. Zum Nachtisch entschied ich mich für den Brotpudding, der normalerweise selten auf den Speisekarten zu finden ist. Der Brotpudding war köstlich, Insgesamt war das Essen im Restaurant wirklich sehr gut und ich würde es auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Die vegetarischen Gerichte waren lecker und sättigend, die Zwiebelsuppe war unglaublich und die Preise waren mehr als angemessen.

Das gutbürgerliche Restaurant liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Michel Hotel, wo ich abgestiegen bin. Geschäftsreisende, vor allem, wenn alleine unterwegs, haben oft Schwierigkeiten am Abend einen Platz in einem Restaurant zu finden. Da sind Gasthöfe oft die einzige Möglichkeit. Die freundliche Tina hat einen Platz für mich. Die Karte kommt sofort, der Getränkewunsch wird ebenfalls schnell erfüllt. Die Speisekarte ist nicht sehr umfangreich, was erfahrungsgemäß oft ein sehr gutes Zeichen ist. So auch hier. Es gibt für jeden etwas. Interessant, dass auch Wildgerichte serviert werden, was man eher selten noch in Deutschland findet. Da ich heute meinen „politisch unkorrekten Tag“ habe, wähle ich das „Zigeunerschnitzel“ und ein Martinsbräu vom Fass. Alles tiptop und reichhaltig. Am Tresen sind Gläser mit hausgemachten Marmeladen und Gelees aufgebaut. Da gibt es Solides, wie Birnengelee, oder etwas Experimentelles, wie Löwenzahn-Blüten-Aufstrich, alles hausgemacht und ohne Konservierungsstoffe. Auch Dosenwurst wird verkauft. Hier ordere ich Wildschweinwurst und Zungenwurst, was ich in Frankfurt bestimmt nicht bekomme. Alles hausgemacht und ohne Konservierungsstoffe und zu moderaten (fränkischen) Preisen. Ein schöner Abend und meine Frau wird sich auch über das Hausgemachte freuen. Großer Dank an Tina, die sich natürlich, neben ihrem Service auch um die Gelees und die Wurst gekümmert hat. Tolles Engagement für den Gast. Nebenbei: man kann im Gasthof Küferstube auch zu günstigen Preisen übernachten.
