The Gasthaus am Dorfbrunnen in Halsbach is a true gem for lovers of Franconian cuisine. The food is of high quality and reflects regional tradition. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive service, which makes the visit a completely successful experience.  The Gasthaus am Dorfbrunnen is located in the picturesque village of Halsbach, embedded in a valley in the high plateau of the Fränkische Platte, in the immediate vicinity of the Main Valley.  A visit is worth it not only because of the excellent food, but also because of the idyllic location and the charming ambience.

Very good food that you can hardly find these days. Every time an experience and a delight for the palate. The operators are very friendly, quick at work and always available for a chat. Always nice to be there.

If you like Asian food, this is the place for you. The ambiance leaves something to be desired, more reminiscent of an old train station restaurant, and the same applies to the restroom. But the food is simply amazing! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!!! Large portions, plenty of choice, ranging in taste from 3 to 5 🌟, everything is there, and the price-performance ratio is just right here. Whether it's fried noodles or rice, chicken dishes, beef & pork, or fish dishes, everything is impeccable. The various soups are also impressive. What we would like to particularly emphasize when ordering takeout is that the food is still hot 🔥 even after a 30-minute drive. Many pizza 🍕 delivery services within a 15 km radius could learn a thing or two from this. Our conclusion: If you don't care much about the ambiance, you can eat in. The portions are generous. The taste is just right. The price is right. The food is available to take away and stays hot for a long time in the insulated boxes. We've been coming here for several years and will continue to do so for years to come.

There were three of us there last night, the sauces were pure pure mush, never made by ourselves and you couldn't eat it if it was salty. I was looking for the dressing for the salad?????? You should look for a professional chef, he's nothing...!!!!

Very good, you can highly recommend it (pizza in all varieties only Tuesday and Thursday) and Sunday only 1 meal available but order in advance!

I'm just reporting on the restaurant. The food was good, but a bit too expensive for my taste. You rarely, if ever, find dishes for less than 15 euros. The welcome also took place in a spartan manner behind the counter. Friendly but also very reserved. But you can eat here and it tastes good.
