It was delicious again. I highly recommend the food.
The driving school should stop practicing on the street, though; it's annoying when you want to eat in peace.
Maybe talk to them about it.
I'm already looking forward to the next visit.
Best regards, Hans🙋🏻♂️
The ambience is a little rustic, quaint but it's quite fitting as there's a lot going on here, especially after work. Be it that some just come here for a beer after work or some who want to go out for dinner after work. At first glance it might not seem like much, but as a Lohrer you know that the Blues is a real place to go.
The pizzas are really very good and come in three sizes (18, 26 and 32 cm). Even I, who am really hungry, can get my fill here. You should only try a well-topped pizza with a diameter of 32cm if you are really hungry. However, they are worth the money and I'm not the only one who thinks that you can't get better pizza within a 50 km radius. The pizzas are very good, there is something for everyone and you are truly spoiled for choice. The price is really right and I really can't complain about the fact that you get great pizzas here. It doesn't look like a pizza place from the outside, but believe me, HERE is the best pizza in the area!
There are a few parking spaces right in front of the door, otherwise you just have to walk a few meters - which isn't a bad thing if you then walk to the car as a digestive walk.
There are also always music evenings with live bands that entertain. Even when I was at school, the Blues was one of the most important places to go (the high school is just a few minutes' walk away) and I still like to go there today.
The Gasthaus am Dorfbrunnen in Halsbach is a true gem for lovers of Franconian cuisine. The food is of high quality and reflects regional tradition. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive service, which makes the visit a completely successful experience.
The Gasthaus am Dorfbrunnen is located in the picturesque village of Halsbach, embedded in a valley in the high plateau of the Fränkische Platte, in the immediate vicinity of the Main Valley.
A visit is worth it not only because of the excellent food, but also because of the idyllic location and the charming ambience.
I've never met such nice hosts before, it felt like we were visiting friends...and the food was sensational, we'll be back. An absolute insider tip. Call beforehand desired.
Unfortunately, the staff here is very inflexible! We preferred the terrace in this weather and had to argue for a long time, eventually choosing the table ourselves!
The food was very good!
Actually, we came here with a clear recommendation. The food was also good, but not special.
The service was subpar. Constant waiting, constant "Coming soon", then at the end, after hours of waiting, the information that card payment is not possible.
This is how you drive away guests. We won't be coming back.
Al Castello used to be available for on-site dining, take-away and delivery. The only options now are local pickup or delivery. Unfortunately.
But the food is very good, the pizzas are quite good and a fair price for what you get. Pasta dishes are also very hot, so you can still enjoy them warm at home when you pick them up. However, you have to park in a place where you are not allowed to stand (just a few meters further down). Or you run to the Seeweg parking lot, where you are officially allowed to park. But until then it's already a few meters.
If you call and want to have food delivered, the minimum order value is now 15 euros (not that I'm wrong, I haven't had anything delivered for a while).
BUT: you can also conveniently place your order via WhatsApp, which is really great. And if you're a little below the minimum order value... you can round up with a tip and they'll still deliver. And it's worth it, because the order can be delivered to you really quickly if you have a good time. I called shortly after 5 p.m. and after just 30 minutes the delivery driver rang my doorbell.
