Unfortunately just average food, I've never drunk such a bad Pilsener, it tasted like drip beer!

It was schnitzel day. I had cream sauce. The sauces were all the same, a little whipped cream was added as cream. For me, cream sauce is something different. We were there with a group. The quality wasn't very high.

We stayed in Lohr am Main for a day and a night. After a long walk with our 2 dogs and checking in at the hotel, we were really hungry and stopped at the Keiler Brauhaus. The waitress found us a quiet corner in the cozy restaurant so that the dogs could relax. Pilsner and cellar beer made in-house, with braised roast or Schäufele with dumplings, red cabbage and beer sauce - superbly prepared, simply delicious. If we are in the region again, we will come back!!! ...we took two bottles of light beer with us.

It's a shame that we weren't served outside in the beer garden, even though the table and chairs were outside. We wanted to have a drink with our dog 🐕 but no one served us. Not a good picture, if you have a small desire then you should leave out the table and chairs.

Ambience, food and drink recommended

We ate Schäufele here for lunch on Friday and drank two Radler for €48. The food was miserable. Schäufele was totally dry and there was no sauce, the red cabbage was inedible This wasn't the first time we've eaten Schäufele, but we definitely won't eat it again.

Beer is delicious. Food came within 1 minute of ordering. We ordered Schäufele. The crust was not edible. This raises the suspicion that the food has been sitting for a long time and was just warmed up.

Nice brewery with a very nice indoor/outdoor area. Service is friendly and accommodating. Space is also made here if you come in without a reservation. Unfortunately, our two schnitzels with croquettes and spaetzle were out of the convenience packaging from start to finish. That was very disappointing. I would come back for a beer, there are much better alternatives for food in Lohr.

The beer is a dream!! The day service (unfortunately we don't know her name) is absolutely nice, friendly and absolutely wonderful!!!!

Despite precise pre-planning regarding time and number, white sausages (almost all of them) burst open, that's extremely unprofessional. Sitting for almost an hour until the first portion and a full hour later the last portions, that's not possible. And the statement that burst white sausages are not served there is simply a mockery. For me as the organizer of a meeting, something like this is just embarrassing. Beer was good though.

Despite the large number of people in the nice weather, we were quickly given a table for four in the beer garden. The service was very satisfactory and the friendliness was highly praiseworthy. The food came for all of us at the same time, all dishes were fresh and deliciously prepared. The locally brewed cellar beer is highly recommended.

I can't really complain about food. We enjoyed it. It lacked a bit of depth but it was very good for the price. Service could be a little more attentive here and there, but was very friendly. Surrounding area is apparently en assi district of Lohr. Talahons and sleeping homeless people in front of the store. But everything inside is great!

There is a beer garden but it is right on the street. Much traffic. Our food was so-so. You can tell that there are no trained chefs in the kitchen. Plate appearance: Less is sometimes more, the pork neck steak was fried to death and the salad tasted very much like vinegar. The white sausages were a bit bland but the pretzel was very tasty. But unfortunately this is how the local food culture goes. Too bad 😔

I spent a weekend in Lohr am Main in April and I'm glad that the brewery was recommended to me! I was alone with my dog ​​and felt very welcome there! Everyone was super nice and dog-friendly, the food was delicious and so was the cellar beer, which I took a big bottle of with me 😊

Unfortunately, if an event takes place here and the restaurant is open at the same time, the service drops. Our lunch for 6 people was generally good, but unfortunately served lukewarm on cold plates. You should try to have the staff available for such events. SHAME 😞

Everything was fine - the final billing just wasn't that professional. There were several people and we didn't all leave at the same time. Unfortunately, two people forgot their side salad when paying and since I was the last to pay, they simply added it to me without telling me. Just communicate and everything is fine 😊

Went to the brewery on Saturday at 5 p.m. with 50 people. Despite the large number of people, we ordered “à la carte”, the excellent dishes came quickly and promptly for everyone. The waitresses were very nice and attentive. We can only recommend the brewery and we would love to come back!

Very nice interior design. Food came quickly and was tasty, red cabbage wasn't quite my thing (a bit too seasoned for Christmas) but that's a matter of taste. Meat, sauce and potato dumplings were really tasty. Service was friendly and we had a good time. Would go there again. The menu has a lot to choose from, but strangely it repeats itself from the middle onwards with the same dishes but with a different presentation.

Top brewery in the old town of Lohr. The start was a little rough but the service got better and better. The portions are generous and very tasty. The highlight is the draft beer, especially the cellar beer. So the stop was worth it and we would love to come back.

During our weekend stay in Lohr am Main, we secured a table in the brewery - a wise decision, because without a reservation it would have been difficult to get a seat. The atmosphere was inviting, the food was first class with generous portions. The friendly staff is particularly praiseworthy. All in all, the brewery offers an impressive price-performance ratio in this day and age.

January 2024: We had the pleasure of visiting Keiler Brauhaus Lohr and were not disappointed. Thursday is always schnitzel day, so we were treated to an impressive selection of schnitzel variations, all of which were delicious. The service was outstanding, with an extremely friendly and attentive team who made our visit a pleasant experience. The furnishings successfully combined modern elements with a rustic flair and were extremely well maintained. The highlight was undoubtedly the home-brewed Kellerbier. We're already looking forward to coming back! Summer 2021: Schnitzel Day is simply great! Tasty and cheap. Great service, great selection. Mega nice beer garden.

Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to choose where we sat...the people who came afterwards did....unfortunately they didn't ask you if you wanted anything else...when you asked for payment, you registered it...but Nevertheless, the other guests continued to be served...or chatted with acquaintances...we should have been made aware...that we should come to the counter to pay...and girls...please don't get in your hair messing around behind the counter. 4 people - from 6.30 p.m. Ambience is good. 2 waitresses, one very friendly, the other ....... All the food was only lukewarm. Meatloaf noodles - cold, the rest lukewarm. Schäuferle, supposedly fresh from the oven - can't be, meat was very dry, the crust was like rubber, everything was lukewarm. Schnitzel was warm, spaetzle lukewarm. Sudhaus roast was also completely lukewarm, dumplings were warmed up. Portion sizes were OK. Apology from the waiter: "We've just started in the kitchen, these were our first meals." We won't go there anymore!

Letting the food go back was supposed to be a schnitzel, it was just disgusting, you couldn't really define it. It wasn't meat, it looked like breaded ham, and the waiter was at a loss for words.

We looked forward to delicious Schäufele and tasty Keiler with great anticipation. Unfortunately the staff was completely overwhelmed, so we had to wait more than 2 hours for our food. As if this grievance wasn't enough, our food requests were changed several times because there were no longer enough of them. Unfortunately, the excessive demands were subsequently expressed in very unfriendly treatment from the guests. The food was basically thrown on our table. This situation is unfortunate because this location definitely has potential. We will avoid this place in the future.

Das Essen und Trinken kann man nur empfehlen. Der Service ist auch nicht zu verachten, aber etwas verbesserungswürdig. Das Ambiente ist, wie man es in einer Brauerei so ist, rusitkal.

Wir waren an einem Samstag zum Schnitzelessen im Keiler. In 2022 hatten wir hier super Erfahrungen gemacht und nahmen daher gerne die kleine Anreise aus Aschaffenburg auf uns. Leider hat die Qualität des Schnitzels stark nachgelassen, wofür wir extra gekommen waren. Hierbei ist speziell die braune Soße beim Jägerschnitzel negativ aufgefallen. Kleinere geleeartige Stückchen und ein nicht verkennbarer Fertigsoßengeschmack.. Das haben wir vergangenes Jahr anders kennengelernt. Außerdem waren wir über die Bierpreise in einem Brauhaus überrascht. 4,80€ für 0,5L Bier aus der Flasche, ebenfalls etwas überzogen. Mein Tipp als BWLer an den Gastronomen: Lieber zurück zum Preis knapp unter 4€ kehren und somit meist 2 Getränkbestellungen pro Gast erhalten (entspricht 7-8€ Umsatz), anstatt fast 5€ für ein einzelnes Getränk zu verlangen. Win win win Situation -> Mehr Umsatz, sicherlich mehr Gewinn und mehr Trinkgeld für den Service und letztlich ein zufriedenerer Gast. Alles in allem ein nettes Braushaus. Der Service war flott, jedoch haben die Getränke ziemlich auf sich warten lassen. Der Charme liegt definitiv eher im Vorderbereich des Gastraumes oder bei gutem Wetter im Biergarten. Bei einer Reservierung sollte man als Gast darauf hinweisen, vorne bei den großen Braukesseln sitzen zu wollen. Im Hinterbereich geht der tolle Charme leider verloren.

We were part of a tour group so our service was more based on the whole group. It was still great service but I can't really answer how it would be as a line table. My suspicion is that it would be phenomenal!! The Dunkel bier is well worth the try and the Pork Schnitzel with gravy is divine!!!

Was mir gefallen hat Tip top Toiletten sehr sauber sehr schön gemacht Holztüren auf sehr schönen Ambiente an ausgerichtet,service war top,was mir nicht so gefallen hat essen kam zwar schnell hab aber gemerkt alles künstliche beisossen sehr sehr schade auch Salat die vinigrett sehr künstlich angerichtet, schaufele sehr gut aber hatte den Eindruck war schon alles vorgebraten ,aber keine wirklich guten Soßen man schmeckte das Pulver aus den Dosen,eigentlich sehr schade für so ein schönes Gasthaus, ansonsten essen sehr zügig bekommen, Getränke essen Preis passte auch nicht zu teuer

Gutes Bier, schöner Platz im Biergarten. Dieser war allerdings sehr voll. Vernünftig gegessen haben wir auch. Kann ich empfehlen.
