Highly recommended even as a North German

The food came quickly, without any problems, and even came out of the kitchen with two plates. The waiter was friendly and funny.

Unfortunately, we only had the limited lunch menu during our visit, but the food was still not bad. What did bother us, however, were the numerous flies that kept coming, probably because of the trash cans in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant.

I've never been served a schnitzel like the one in this restaurant. The Bild newspaper was thicker that day than the schnitzel. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of it. The beer was very good, but that alone isn't enough to fill you up. The service and ambiance were fine.

Simply fantastic, I can recommend it to anyone. The price/performance ratio is simply fantastic, and the service is very friendly. Three thumbs up 👍👍👍

Unfortunately, a disappointment. Of the five people, four ate Schäufele and, when served, said it wasn't good. The waiter's only reaction was to ignore our table until we paid. Unfortunately, the Schäufele was very dry, the rind was hard but not crispy, and the whole thing wasn't well seasoned. The dumplings were okay, but the red cabbage was unusual (I'm used to sauerkraut or savoy cabbage with Schäufele), too sweet and overcooked. The fifth person had bratwurst, which were apparently okay. Otherwise, we found the place quite okay, but there seems to be a certain lack of responsibility. When I walk through my restaurant as a landlord or tenant, I can see, for example, when toilet brushes need replacing. So, when black brushes look like this... Well, we'll probably eat our Schäufele at home or in Bamberg in the future. They have juicy, flavorful, and crispy pieces that deserve the name, but they're cooked at a much different pace.

Thursday Schnitzel Day €10. This schnitzel with fries beats almost any schnitzel priced at €18.50 at other restaurants.

The roast and the shoulder of pork are so tender that they almost fell apart when you poke them with a fork. The beer sauce is super delicious and intense. The beer is also incredibly tasty. We'll definitely come back.

Went here for dinner today. I haven't had such a good meal in a long time...I come from the restaurant industry myself, and I was simply thrilled...very tasty. And the service was simply top-notch...the girls were fast and super friendly. That's far too rare. We'll definitely be back soon.

We visited here twice during our vacation. The shoulder of pork is a dream.

The staff is very friendly. The shoulder of pork we ordered was served just 10 minutes after ordering. The meat was mostly completely dry. It had either been kept warm in the oven for far too long or had been reheated the day before. There was no response to our complaint after the meal. A complete disappointment for us, and we wouldn't recommend it.

We'll definitely be back. Even with a gluten allergy, it was no problem to get something delicious there. Our sudhausbraten (sudhouse roast) with dumplings and red cabbage was gluten-free.

The location is great, the beer is delicious, but the food wasn't our cup of tea. The chicken wasn't crispy, and the cheese spaetzle was very runny.

I called with my husband 10 minutes before my visit. I asked for a table outside for two, even though it was a Saturday night and it was a last-minute appointment. The waiter assured me he had a table, and he did! The food was perfect, my schnitzel was perfect, and the dessert was very good! I highly recommend it.

I regret giving it one star and changing my lovely review from a few years ago, because it's a beautiful place. I feel sorry for the chefs, because I wasn't able to taste their delicacies. But I did it to show that the waiter (and, if I understood correctly, the owner's pastry chef) would be better off leaving a job. First of all, I've been selling beer for 40 years, and I think I have enough experience to write this review. I traveled 700 km to drink the delicious local beer, bringing my family, employees, and friends with me. Anyway, we complained about the jubilee beer. And let me clarify right away that the beer was good. However, out of 11 beers, three had a bad smell and taste. Typical when the beer is stuck in the tap. So these are the first beers. What pissed me off was denying this. Then they remade us different beers Put them in 0.4L glasses instead of 0.5L Spilled a beer over us without much apology And finally, I won't tell you what I found in my glass! The whole thing made me feel sick, not to mention angry. So I had no choice but to leave, annoyed and disappointed. 😞 I posted the photo to remind you who we are!

Friday evening Reserved a table in advance (depending on the weather, we could have sat outside or inside) The house recommendation (ham hock) was amazing... except for the sauerkraut... it was a bit "too" dry and very "natural." There's still room for improvement. The rest was impeccable. Service was attentive and always there. Top 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Drinks were also great. We'll be back.

We were here for lunch with a group of 30 people. The food arrived quickly and at the same time. It tasted delicious. The servers were very attentive, and the checkout process was quick and easy.

The brewing system wasn't clean, and you could smell it in the beer. A problem was addressed by the manager to resolve the issue.

I think that was the worst schnitzel with fries I've ever eaten! The fries tasted like they came from frozen, with barely any seasoning or salt. The schnitzel was also tasteless, with more breading than anything else. Even the salad was tasteless... (and I'm very content with simple food; there's hardly anything I don't like.) 2 stars because my husband's burger was apparently quite good! The service was friendly, though, and the drinks came quickly! You sit outside on the street, but the interior is really nicely done!

My son had the Schäufele (pork shoulder) and was in seventh heaven. Tender, juicy meat that fell off the bone, a perfectly crispy crust, and a delicious sauce. Exactly what a hungry, meat-loving teenager wants. My wife's veggie burger wasn't quite as perfect. It had the soft texture of an omelet, which isn't what you'd expect from a burger. I had the bratwurst, which was perfectly fine, because you can't go wrong with bratwurst. Bottom line: great for meat lovers, not so great for vegetarians.

The Brauhaus used to be better. We had schnitzel, the breading was almost thicker than the meat! We've never had schnitzel so thin and dry! We won't be going back to the Brauhaus anytime soon!

Great staff and super delicious food

Very, very delicious food in a quaint restaurant in the heart of Lohr. We had one Schäuble (a kind of pork belly) and one Schlemmerschnitzel (a kind of gourmet schnitzel). Both were delicious and definitely freshly cooked. The famous Keiler beer is also a treat. Highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

Yes, this gourmet schnitzel, the ambiance, and of course, the delicious beer are all wonderful. I'm a fan of Brauhaus Keiler and have driven the 240 km there several times. And it's worth it every time!

We received prompt and friendly service, and the food was very good and delicious. The interior is typical of a brewery, though not dark and oppressive, but rather clear, bright, and spacious. Restrooms are also very clean. We'll be back.

To sum it up in one word... Super. Super nice and friendly. Super tasty. Super fast. Extremely nice and friendly service, who answered children's questions even when they were stressed. The food seemed to arrive faster than it took us to choose, even though well over half the tables were occupied. And it was so delicious that the inner voice that was shouting, "Wait, you're actually full already!" didn't stand a chance. The homemade lemonade is also highly recommended. Or the house-brewed Kellerbier. We'd be happy to come back here anytime.

Highly recommended! We stopped there with our seniors' group. The portions were generous and delicious! If anyone wanted seconds, it was no problem. Better that way than overly large portions that are impossible to finish and food that has to be thrown away. We'd be happy to come back.
