Unfortunately, there are too few places like this and they are becoming increasingly rare! Loving atmosphere, well-read, worldly host, always fresh and homemade dishes and there is something new to discover every time. The shop has been around for over 20 years and is still an insider tip! Best regards!
After a long time we had dinner at Narine's, now I know what we missed. The food was once again brilliant. Yesterday I brought home food for 8 people. It was a poem again.
The food is simply great.
One is a whole, stuffed pork loin, the other is a pork neck skewer and the side dishes.
You have to go to Anush Lini just for the Armenian coffee with jam. And don't forget the nice innkeepers. Please bring a little time, everything is freshly prepared. It's worth the wait.
We were at Narine again today, August 8th, 2021, and tried out some of the new dishes on the menu that we were not yet familiar with. Simply brilliant. Borani, Ker u Sus, Chozi Mater (Thick Rib) and Tolma Ejmiacin are all a treat. Finally, the Armenian coffee and Anuschatert Gavari. It's just that baklava isn't as extremely sweet and sticky as what you're used to. In my opinion, much, much better that way. Now I'll stop raving and choose the dish from the menu for the next visit to Anush Lini.
Inattentive staff, bad food - calamari and gyros were disgusting, fries not cooked through. Even the salad fell through. Too bad about the money.
Not even an ouzo on the house was offered.
We won't be coming back.
This restaurant is the closest you'll get to the authentic Greek experience!
The ambiance: small, not kitsch, somewhat rustic, and cozy.
The service: warm, humorous, and hospitable.
The food: somewhat simple, honest, and very good in terms of quality and taste, better than the Greek original in some places, but the portions are slightly smaller.
I was disappointed with the attitude and hospitality of the staff. I asked to try a flavor of ice cream but was not allowed. I bought a scoop of ice cream, which unfortunately was terrible. I threw it straight in the trash like it was made from water, sugar, and food coloring. The price of an ice cream was exorbitant. Both the staff and the product were disgusting.
We ate in Lauf for the second time on Friday. Both times great service from friendly, courteous staff. Both pizza and pasta are really great. Rounded off by a perfect selection of desserts. An absolute feel-good atmosphere.
The classic gyros calamari - not good. Gyros was cold and greasy. For 19.90 euros without side dishes salad? Too bad, won't come back.
And unfortunately for everyone who doesn't express their positive opinion, they can't handle criticism.
No
The Schäufele spent too many hours in the oven and the Wiener Schnitzel was lean, but very thin, but the breading was bathed in fat.
Since we were invited by friends, we didn't complain.
