Yesterday we made reservations for the three of us in the new Albrecht. The restaurant has been attractively redesigned. When we arrived the restaurant was full and the three of us were seated at the back row of tables in the next room. This seating situation should be urgently reconsidered. A normal adult can actually only squeeze into the back seat by doing acrobatic exercises. A little later, another three people were seated with us, and they were only able to squeeze into the back of the long table after the three of us had to get up again. My tip: one less table would immensely improve the feel-good factor of the guests in this area. The order was taken and the drinks came quite quickly, the Leinburger beer tastes delicious. We had ordered 2x schnitzel with fries and 1x cordonbleu with fries, 1x schnitzel and 2x cordonbleu were brought, which we then accepted. The cordon bleu was tender and tasty, the schnitzel was fried a little too long. Thick steak fries were served as fries, which were extremely oversalted in all three dishes. At first it was edible by scraping off the salt layer, but the more you ate, the more inedible it became. A comment from us while clearing up was received with regret, but there was no small gesture of apology, perhaps a small drink on the house. This would have improved our overall impression a little. Conclusion: It's great that the Albrecht has a new tenant again, good basis, coherent concept, but still room for improvement. Not too many tables in a small space! Less is more. We will definitely give the restaurant another chance.

The quality has always been the same for years, regional cuisine with seasonal specialties, always friendly and quick service, a beautiful beer garden, and 5 stars also because the price-performance ratio is very good. A really good country restaurant - highly recommended!
