We were there on December 4th. visiting for the first time. We were super curious because so many friends raved about the inn. We received a very warm welcome, despite the fact that it was very busy around 7 p.m. The stress of the staff was clearly noticeable where we were sitting, but when they were with us they also took the time and were there for us. The drinks came quickly. For a snack beforehand we had bread and various spreads, that alone was divine. I could have eaten a whole loaf of that bread. For the main course we had beef goulash, beef strips and herb schnitzel. It was all extremely delicious. Unfortunately we didn't manage to have dessert because we were very full. Absolutely an experience, really recommended.

Super delicious food and great service

My birthday dinner last night. Wonderfully balanced dishes in terms of spice, acidity, sweetness, foam and firmness, cooked to perfection, regional products perfectly processed, you can hardly do it better. Very attentive service with food and drinks. Dimmed lighting but you could still read the menu easily, feel-good atmosphere was very important. We were very excited. My favorite Indian. Delicious food, friendly service

Unfortunately, the service wasn't the best on the day of our visit. The employees tried hard, but it took a long time for the food to come to the table and we had to wait a long time for individual components (side salad). The taste was good so far, although it had to be said that the game was not served with a game sauce but rather an onion jus. Which is a shame, because a good game sauce would have improved the dish. But the portions were decent, as befits a country inn. Unfortunately, the room we were sitting in was also rather cool, which caused the food to cool down quickly. Very unfortunate

Great landlady, good snacks and drinks, cozy pub

We had lunch at the "Metzger" several times and were actually satisfied again. What we noticed negatively is that they now seem to be saving on the eggs when it comes to spaetzle. The spaetzle were very “pale” and tasted a bit floury. Too bad!! The meat, salad and other side dishes were, as expected, flawless. The service was, as always, polite and quick.

The pizza was really delicious and big enough for the price, but the apple spritzer was really, really poorly mixed. And the issue with the dog didn't really bother us, but animals don't really have any place in the restaurant.

A very nice family-run restaurant with a feel-good atmosphere. We've loved being there since it first opened. Absolute recommendation for Greek food in Augsburg.

Were there for lunch on Thursday. Price/performance ratio is delicious and we'll be happy to do it again. Recommendation Cordon blou absolutely delicious and plentiful. Service was very accommodating and extremely friendly.

Etwas im Hinterland gelegen, bietet der Goldene Stern einen gepflegten Garten, in dem man die Wahl hat zwischen eher traditionellen Gerichten der "Wirtshausküche" und einer gehobenen, aber nicht abgehobenen Gastronomie. Die Küche zeichnet sich durch exzellentes Handwerk und großartigen Umgang mit vielfältigen Aromen aus. Gerade im Dessertbereich weiß die Originalität zu begeistern. Der Service ist hilfreich und angenehm entspannt. Insgesamt haben wir einen nahezu perfekten Abend erlebt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist überragend.
