It doesn't have much in common with a classic kebab shop, in a positive sense in my opinion. You can almost say that there is a high feel-good factor in the restaurant with the corresponding great service. I had a chilli cheese kebab, I had never heard of it before and on recommendation I tried it and it was really great and I would love to come back again.

We like to come when we are in Friedberg and have been for many years. For us the best kebab in the region, absolutely recommended. All dishes are tasty and rich, the selection is large. The quality is consistently very good. The breads are homemade, the rotisserie skewers (either turkey/chicken or veal) are put on yourself, the vegetables are fresh, you can just taste them. The pide and the kebab plates are particularly delicious. The restaurant is family run. The staff are warm and very friendly. If you're lucky, you'll get one of the few seats in the restaurant where you'll receive friendly service at the table. Since the renovation, you can sit more comfortably, no typical snack bar atmosphere. All dishes are available to eat on site or to take away.

I’ve waited more than an hour for 2 simple dishes. People that arrived later than us were served first and even left before we got our food. I don’t recommend it at all.

The store is definitely no longer recommended. There is no longer any of the good reputation it once had. I just wanted to order a simple kebab to take away. For one thing, I had to wait 20 minutes even though there were only two people ahead of me. There would have been enough staff. They just didn't feel like speeding things up. On the other hand, the meat would not have been fresh from the spit, but rather pre-fried meat from the next room was placed on a warming plate. It should be clear that it isn't warm after 10 seconds. When I asked if this really went into my kebab, I was treated stupidly. Then I didn't take any kebab with me. Who knows when the meat was from and how it was cooled. The employees are only friendly to regular customers. If you don't do this, you will be left standing and others will be served first or asked what it can be. Unfortunately, the store is no longer recommended.

No matter what I've eaten there so far, it's always been extremely tasty. Veal is particularly recommended. The meat is prepared in-house and the bread is baked in-house. Add fresh Ayran and you have everything you need. Always worth a visit and the whole family also works together.

Went to Alagar for the first time today. I received a very friendly welcome and my order was taken straight away. The meat in the kebab was very tasty, but I felt the roasting was a bit lacking and in places it was a bit gristly (veal). Homemade Ayran is very tasty, but could use a little refinement (mint, lemon). Definitely a clear recommendation and worth repeating. Keep it up 👍

We were here for a Dürüm and a Pide at lunchtime. You immediately notice that everything is made from scratch, including the dough, and the other ingredients were also super fresh. We enjoyed it very much and the pide in particular was very attractively prepared and everyone was very nice. Top!

Rating for Doner Restaurant Alagar: What a wonderful discovery in the kebab world! The service at Alagar is simply excellent - after a quick call we were immediately offered a reservation. The store exudes a pleasant cleanliness and order, and the icing on the cake: free parking spaces right in front of the door. As soon as we entered the snack bar we felt warmly welcomed. We were given a lovingly designed menu - a small but nice luxury that you rarely find at a "Kebab". Everything is just right here. Now for the culinary delight: the kebab with homemade veal for only €8 is a dream! The meat is tender, soft, crispy and juicy – ​​a real treat. The salad with mint is a refreshing surprise and gives the kebab that certain something. Simply delicious! The choice of drinks is varied and we chose the homemade Ayran, which went perfectly with the juicy meat. The owner of Alagar is passionate about it and has exciting plans for the future. New ideas and an expansion of the shop are being planned, and the breads are even homemade - you can taste it! We are already excited about the beech wood grill and the new creations. One small detail: I planned to take photos of the kebab, but I was so excited with anticipation that I simply forgot. I also couldn't resist the second kebab and missed it again. But don't worry, I'll do it on my next visit! Alagar is an absolute must for every gourmet – an unreserved recommendation!

Went here at the weekend on the way back to Stuttgart to get 2 Dürüm and as expected, very tasty, good value for money and friendly and helpful service. All good and continue much success. Allahım bereket verse.

Went there for the Iftar meal and were immediately warmly welcomed by the entire Alagar team. Since we came to break the fast, water and dates were delivered directly to the house from the owner. We ate the kebab plate with rice and the Iskender, both as a beef version. The kebab plate itself is easily a 10/10, but the Iskender kebab is a whole new level and absolutely recommended. We would like to thank the entire team for their hospitality and the absolutely delicious food and we certainly won't eat the Iskender here for the last time. :)

The quality is as always very good, but: - sustainable packaging was abolished again - The store has been remodeled twice in the last 4 years, which can unfortunately be clearly seen in the price. A normal kebab with cheese now costs €7.20. - Pide was always served with tomato salad and cabbage as a side dish, the price was increased and the side dish was abolished. Today I was sold a kebab that was already prepared and packaged for the full price. The price increase is justified by converting it into a “restaurant”. The atmosphere has changed and the employees are becoming increasingly rude and unprofessional. Food 10/10 All around 1/10

Been there for the first time today. What can I say: we have never eaten such a good kebab or pide as we did here. The friendliness of the troops is also commendable! So overall: 10/10!

I tried the kebab shop for the first time and drove here from near Rosenheim on the recommendation of third place in the German ranking. I had higher expectations due to the reviews from well-known YouTubers, among others. Maybe I got the timing wrong. The taste was good, but the meat was too dry and not as warm as I know from other kebabs. The bread was very good but unfortunately not warm. That's why it wasn't right for me because everything went cold relatively quickly. I'm sure if the bread and meat had been warmer and the meat had been juicier it would have been 5 stars. I would like to come back for a second chance. Definitely a friendly team, very friendly, and everything was very clean.

Waitress barely understood me when I ordered yufka, comes back with a bottle opener even though our pussies are open, doesn't see that the three of us only had one napkin in the napkin container and in my yufka there was a hole in the side the size of a tennis ball. No idea what they did with it. There was only meat on one side and way too many vegetables. When we said goodbye no one answered but €6.50 for kebab was correct

I had heard a lot about the store, but hadn't taken my own picture of it. I recently had dinner there with my wife and I have to say it simply impressed me! The selection is huge, even for vegans there is a lot of different things! Great because you can choose between turkey and veal. The taste is a 10/10. I will definitely come back and eat again, even if it's 60km from me!

Ist ein sehr guter. Problem, eine Soße zum Döner anzubieten (Knobel-Yoghurt-Standard) aber dann parallel einen Chilli Cheese Döner verkaufen, macht keinen Sinn. Dann kann man gleich auch Cocktail Tomaten etc. in die Zutaten Auswahl aufnehmen, weil die jetzigen Fleischtomaten auch nicht so wild sind tbh. Entweder Classic Schiene oder nicht. Wurde durch Holles Video auf den Laden aufmerksam. Durch die Bewertung im Video, bin ich mit großen Erwartungen gekommen. Natürlich ist es ein leckerer Döner aber ich finde der hat mich dennoch nicht umgehauen. Außerdem finde ich war im Döner zu wenig Fleisch im Verhältnis zum Salat. Muss dazu sagen, dass ich einen Hähnchen Döner hatte, da Kalb ausverkauft war.. Eventuell ist ja der Kalbfleisch Döner der Hit, deshalb werde ich noch mal kommen. Positiv hervorzuheben war das wirklich freundliche Personal und das Ambiente.

Alagar ne anlama geliyor, daha öğrenemedim. Buranın önceki adı "a la turka" idi, neden değişti? Arkadaşlar Urfapideyi önerdiler, sipariş ettim, bol isotlu acı etli pide.... Helal mi? O da belli değil. Helal restoran arayanlar, devam arayabilir...

Friedbergern muss man nicht erklären, wo man für gute türkische Küche hin muss. Essen ist frisch zubereitet, tolle Qualität, das Team ist extrem nett und freundlich und die Atmosphäre ist entspannt. Einer unsere Lieblingsplätze in Friedberg!

Hier gibt es die beste Hackfleischpide die ich kenne, mein Lieblingsimbiss in ganz Augsburg. Ich persönlich benötige immer einen Beilagensalat mit Dönersoße extra dazu, da es den Geschmank perfekt abrundet. Die Servicekraft war sehr nett. Die Wartezeit war in Ordnung, dafür aber alles frisch. Würde hier immer wieder herkommen. Wir haben trotz Weihnachtsmarkt in Friedberg, spontan einen Platz bekommen und wurden sehr nett in Empfang genommen. Definitiv ausprobieren!

Das Essen ist sehr vielseitig und gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Restaurant ist immer wieder einen Besuch wert.

Durch ein Youtuber vorbei geschaut. Mega lecker, mega sympathisch und korrekte Jungs! Ein guter döner kann so einfach sein und doch schaffen es so wenige was ordentliches aufs Teller zu bringen. Selten so was leckeres gegessen, döner, chai und baklava einfach bombastisch lecker! Preislich auch mehr als gerecht! Unbedingt auf zitronenspritzer beharren. Ich komme wieder!

Sehr guter Dönerladen, allerdings wenig Sitzplätze

Seit der Neueröffnung/Renovierung schmeckt der döner leider gar nicht mehr. Ist überhaupt nicht gewürzt und schmeckt daher nur fad. Auch ist wenig fleisch und soße auf dem döner zu finden, daher wird das ganze sehr trocken. Das fleisch wird auch viel zu wenig angebraten auf den dlber gegeben, anstatt 1-2 minuten zu warten, wird es noch sehr rosa ausgegeben. Daher leider nicht mehr der stammdönerladen. Werden uns was neues suchen. Früher echt der beste döner, nun leider nicht mehr! Ergänzung: waren nun vor ca 1 Woche wieder dort, jetz schmeckt es so wie man es von früher kennt, einfach nur super..hat wohl einfach ein wenig gedauert bis es sich eingespielt hat..wieder top zu empfehlen

Viele von uns haben schon hunderte, wenn nicht tausende Döner in unserem Leben gegessen. 0815 Geschmack und Qualität und die Soßen haben darüber entschieden, ob der Döner gut oder schlecht ist. Heute habe ich ein Geschmackserlebnis der anderen Art erlebt. Ein Döner der mit Geschmäckern spielt, Säure von Zitrone, Frische durch Minze und Petersilie und Sumach auf den knackigen Zwiebeln runden das Ganze ab. Und das ganze mit kaum Soße- ich empfehle sogar ganz ohne. Warum? Das Fleisch spricht für sich, saftig aber nicht fettig, jeder Bissen ein Genuss. Einer der Top-Döner in der Region, vielleicht sogar Deutschlandweit. Der Service, ein Familienvertrieb wo Brüder die Tradition ihre Großvaters und Vaters führen, so einen ehrlichen Laden kann man nur empfehlen.

Nachdem Holle meint Platz 3 in Deutschland, hab ich den Ala Turka probiert. Hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Wenn man in der Gegend ist sollte man den probieren. Der normale Döner war jetzt nicht herausragend aber trotzdem gut. Service war top. Im grossen und ganzen sehr empfehlenswert.

Abartig was man mittlerweile für nen Döner bezahlt. Am Ende stellt man dann fest dass es zu wenig war 👌

Leider wird der Döner nicht nur teuer sondern auch kleiner sodass er als alleinige Mahlzeit kaum mehr reicht um satt zu werden. Schade! Geschmacklich aber gut und das Personal ist auch sehr nett.

Ich wurde durch Holles Video aufmerksam auf den Döner. Ich war nun schon zwei mal dort. Beim ersten Mal hatte ich einen normalen Döner mit Kalb, Salat und Soße. Dieser hat mich schon sehr durch das leckere Fleisch überzeugt. Heute hatte ich dann den alaTurka mit Kalbfleisch ohne Soße. Dieser überzeugte durch sein saftiges und würziges Fleisch in Kombination mit der Minze und den sehr klein und fein geschnittenen Zwiebeln. Ich würde jedem empfehlen diesen ohne Soße zu bestellen. Ich bin begeistert von diesem Döner und den Mitarbeitern, alle waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Dazu kommt das gute Preis-Leistungsverhältniss von 8€ für diesen Döner. Ich werde trotz weiter Anreise wieder kommen, denn für mich ist das der beste und leckerster Döner.

Echt abwechslungsreiche Karte. Bei den vielen Döner Varianten fällt mir auf, dass sie sehr gut gewürzt sind. Service ist super freundlich und wusste gar nicht wie viele Tische innen sind. Kann man sehr angenehm essen gehen. Empfehle jedem da vorbei zu schauen

Super Service! Wir hatten Döner mit Huhn, Lamacun und einen vegetarischen Döner. Am Besten davon war das Lamacun, bei den Dönern ist das Brötchen auch sehr lecker. Leider fanden wir die Variation bei Salat nicht 5 Sterne wert. Salat, Weißkraut, Tomaten etwas wenig. Soßen gab es leider auch nur zwei, Yogurt oder Knoblauch. Der Service war aber wirklich toll und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

Immer freundlich, immer sehr gutes Essen, immer wieder gerne.

Hausgemachtes Brot, gutes Fleisch, vegetarische Alternativen, freundlich, sauber. Ein Kebap wie er im Buch steht! 5/5, gerne wieder!

Döner mit Huhn/Pute: 2,5 von 5 Gemüse war sehr frisch; das Fleisch schmeckte neutral, Döner war kalt-lauwarm, insgesamt kein(e) ‚Harmonie‘ oder ‚Zusammenspiel‘ zwischen den einzelnen Zutaten um einen guten Geschmack zu erzeugen. Pommes Frites: 5 von 5 Bedienung / Freundlichkeit: 5 von 5 sehr höflich, freundlich und gut gelaunt Tee: 5 von 5 Der Chef hat uns türkischen Tee ausgegeben. Der Tee schmeckte sehr gut. Falafel-Box: 4 von 5 Obwohl dieses Gericht Falafel-Box heißt gab es nur 4 kleine Falafel (plus Reis, Salat, Zwiebel). Den Falafel fehlte es etwas an Würze. Hausgemachter Ayran: 4,5 von 5 Auch wenn es - nach meinem Geschmack - dem Ayran etwas an Salz fehlte, so schmeckte er trotzdem sehr frisch und natürlich. Sehr gut, dass so was überhaupt angeboten wird! Preis: 4,5 von 5 Nach heutigen Standards akzeptabel und im Gesamtpaket (Essen, Bedienung, Hygiene, etc.) fair bis sehr fair. Meine Gesamtbewertung: 4 Sterne
