Sehr gut. Service freundlich und das Essen sehr lecker

Waren heut seit der Besitzerwechsel statt gefunden hat das erste mal wieder im Schloss essen. Wir waren mehr als begeistert. Super freundliche Bedienung und mega kinderfreundlich. Die Portionen waren mehr als ausreichend und einfach unglaublich lecker. Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch. 💯

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen zu gutem Preis. Portionen reichen aus. Uriges Ambiente und gut bürgerliche Küche. Auch die Nachspeisen waren fein. Sehr viel Platz - auch für Feiern geeignet. Service ist super nett. Biergarten hat uns leider nicht ganz so zugesagt aber es gibt Innen genug Platz. Wir kommen wieder! 👍

Ein wirklich tolles gutbürgerliches Restaurant mit hervorragender Küche. Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal dort und wurden erneut nicht enttäuscht. Das Essen war frisch, geschmacklich top und liebevoll angerichtet. Dazu ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Auf der Heimfahrt von München nach Nattheim haben wir hier noch eine Stop eingelegt, um etwas Leckeres zu essen 🥗 Die Auswahl an Speisen ist reichhaltig, hier sollte jeder etwas für seinen persönlichen Geschmack finden ✔️ Essen gschmackig, Service höflich und zuvorkommend, Preise fair... Was will man mehr. Von meiner Seite eine klare Empfehlung 🙏🏼

Wir sind immer regelmäßig zum Grünkohlessen hier, auch nach der Übernahme durch die neuen Pächter ist das wirklich sehr gut und immer lecker. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Waren Sa Abend dort. Drauf aufmerksam geworden durch das Gutscheinbuch. Angerufen wegen Platz. Freundlich empfangen. Ambiente urig gemütlicher alt Deutsch. Gemütlicher Dorfgasthof. Viel Holz, etwas Dunkel , aber gemütlich zum verweilen. Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam. Recht jung. Aber fragt immer mal wieder ob alles passt. Gute Auswahl an Deutschen Gerichten. Gute Portionen zu ordentlichem Preis. Preis Leistung passt. Geschmack sehr gut. Werden sicher auch ohne Gutschein wieder kommen.

Waren zu 5. an einem Sonntag Mittag dort. Wir mussten 1 Stunde auf unser Essen warten. Das Essen an sich war gut. Im Restaurant war es leider sehr laut.

Angenehm überrascht. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Einfache und typische Speisekarte. Ausgezeichnetes Essen. Selbst für einen guten Esser wie mich.

Service ist sehr aufmerksam. Kam an den Tisch und hat während dem Essen gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist. Als ein Ehepaar mit Hund rein kam, hat der Hund sofort ein Wasser hingestellt bekommen. Es sind halt die kleinen Dinge die es ausmachen. Preis-Leistung sehr gut.

Wir waren 4 Personen und alle sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen. Schöne Auswahl, aber leider nur 1 vegetarisches Gericht. Außer den Kässpätzle, die es ja als Beilage auch gibt. Der Zwiebelrostbraten kam "medium", genau wie bestellt. Gute Qualität zu vernunftigen Preisen. Sehr freundlicher Familienbetrieb, auch ein Sonderwunsch (kleines Weizenbier) wurde problemlos erfüllt. Ambiente einer alten Gaststätte, aber alles gepflegt, hell und sauber. Kann absolut empfohlen werden.

Einfach gut. Essen sehr lecker, Preise sind für die gute Qualität angemessen. Kann man nur empfehlen. Werden das nächste mal wieder vorbeikommen, wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Etwas laut, denn gute Küche ist gefragt und dann kommen eben auch mal viele Gäste. Aber wir sind kulinarisch verwöhnt worden und haben dieses Lokal für den nächsten Besuch zu Hause abgespeichert. Das sehr freundliche Personal schaut auch, nachdem das Essen am Tisch ist, weiter regelmäßig, ob inzwischen Getränke-Nachschub nötig ist. Weiter so !

Super bayrische Küche. Hausgemachte Spätzle. Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Preis - Leistung vollkommen in Ordnung. Als ehemalige Wirtsleute, uns hat es geschmeckt.

Mega Leckeres Essen, top Preis Leistung, alle Mitarbeiter/innen sehr freundlich und wir kommen gerne wieder

Leider deutlich zum Vorgänger nachgelassen. Portionen deutlich zu klein, darauf angesprochen wurden wir nur von der junge Dame angegrinst. Selbst die Kinderportion war deutlich zu klein, so dass wir danach leider nochmal wo anders zum Essen sind, weil die Kinder noch Hunger hatten. Schnitzel wurden scheinbar nur frittiert und waren zu dunkel. Schnitzel haben nur vor Fett getrieft. Leider musste man mit dem Wirt diskutieren, statt dass dieser auf den Wunsch des Kunden eingegangen wäre. Beilagen können auch bei Allergien nicht abgeändert werden. 2 unserer Gäste hatten im Anschluss Magenschmerzen und 3 erbrochen. Das restliche Essen war ok vom Geschmack, aber wohl oft Fertigsoßen. Portionen wurde zum Vorgänger deutlich kleiner und Salatbuffet gibt es leider auch nicht mehr. Sehr schade. Suppen grundsätzlich ungenießbar. Wir kommen nicht mehr.

We were there today with 10 people for Christmas dinner, everything was perfect and the food tasted great too 👍😊

Stätzling seems to be a gourmet destination. The food tastes fantastic and is of high quality! The braised ox cheeks were tender and the sauce divine! The Jörger schnitzel was perfectly breaded and the cordon bleu was good. Stätzling is apparently a great place to eat in Augsburg. The Galaxy sports bar, with its Syrian and German cuisine, is another outstanding example. The only downside was the Kaiserschmarrn, which had too much caramelized sugar and wasn't at all light and airy as it should be. The tiny cup of applesauce was also far too small. Unfortunately, I had to deduct a star for that, especially since the price of €10 was too high. Otherwise, considering the excellent quality of the food, the prices were almost a bargain.

We were greeted by a very friendly owner, the food was delicious, and the price was perfectly reasonable. The ambiance still has a certain old-world charm, but it's very cozy.

A very good inn, the kind you'd expect in Bavaria. The hosts are very friendly. The food is excellent. The value for money is absolutely fine. Finding a parking space is a bit tricky, though.

As for the ambiance: it's a truly classic Bavarian/Swabian inn. It's not wheelchair accessible, but if you can climb a few small steps, everything else (dining room and restrooms) is on the ground floor.

Tafelspitz was tough, fried onions were cold and chewy as if they were from the day before.

Finally, a restaurant that we can recommend with a clear conscience. Last week, we were spontaneously looking for a place to enjoy good, home-style food. Chance, or rather, Google, led us to this wonderful inn. Both friendliness and excellent food are a top priority here. Everything is visually appealing, delicious, and, above all, fresh. You can tell that the cooking is done with love and experience. A family-run business with heart. The decor is quaintly rustic, but everything is in good condition and very clean. The prices are more than fair; really very reasonable for the quality and the portions. We don't live around the corner, but we'll definitely be coming back often and definitely recommend this inn ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything was great, keep up the good work.

Very nice new owner. We received a very friendly welcome and very courteous service. The food was plentiful and delicious. The prices are also very fair. We had the roast pork and the ox cheeks. The meat in both dishes was incredibly tender. We can only recommend the castle restaurant to everyone. We went there with a voucher book, which was very happily accepted. We'll definitely be back. 😀👍

Good country cooking is a thing of the past. If you're hungry, it's fine, but it's all convenience foods. Like the sauce for the hunter's roast, the coleslaw for the pork roast, etc.

Finally, a restaurant that's open six days a week and you can visit without having to make a reservation weeks in advance. The food was very good, the value for money was good, and the service staff were very friendly. The new owners made a great choice...

Really hearty food for a good price and very friendly service

Unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. There used to be a delicious salad buffet that you could help yourself to, but unfortunately the new owners have apparently abolished this. The breading on my schnitzel tasted like fish, the fries were far too soft. The service was very friendly, the dining room urgently needs renovation.

The staff and the quality of the food are really excellent. Reservations were also possible online at short notice.

We first went to eat in this lovely restaurant. The staff was very polite and accommodating, every request was catered for! The restaurant is very attractive and it's fun to eat there. Have a good time and good luck to the new owner. We felt at home.

We come from Stätzling and have of course known the inn for a long time. The new owners are doing a great job. Today we had duck with red cabbage and dumplings, it tasted very, very good. The service is also excellent. A renovation would give the inn a new lease of life.

We had lunch here on Boxing Day with extended family. It was excellent because the food tasted wonderful. The service was very friendly and quick, attentive and understanding towards the children, even though the restaurant was full. A good price-performance ratio in a home-style atmosphere. There were five of us eating there today, each of us was thrilled with the food and the service was also very nice and attentive. We will definitely go there again.

I had already heard a lot of good things about the Gasthaus am Schloss. Last night I was able to test it myself and it even exceeded my expectations. The food was just to die for. The meat of the roast was so soft that you didn't even need a knife to cut it. The onion roast steak was perfectly fried and the cheese spaetzle was definitely the best I've ever eaten. The Shala family's inn combines passion and dedication to service and running a restaurant with absolute skill in the kitchen. Gladly again at any time!

Were there for lunch on Thursday. Price/performance ratio is delicious and we'll be happy to do it again. Recommendation Cordon blou absolutely delicious and plentiful. Service was very accommodating and extremely friendly.

Were here last night for the first time since the change of ownership. Service nice and warm Voucher book wasn't a problem either The pork fillet was cooked perfectly, the homemade spaetzle and mushroom sauce were great. The portion was completely sufficient for me, but rather too small for my companion. I missed the salad buffet a bit.

Real Bavarian cuisine. The spaetzle is amazing, tastes like my mother used to make it. Have been there twice and will definitely come back.

I recently moved to the area and am happy to have such a good inn nearby that serves good Bavarian cuisine as you would expect. Having rarely eaten such good spaetzle (homemade) has now become very rare in pubs. Like Grandma used to do, I missed that. I rarely write reviews but absolutely justified here.👍🏼 Price performance absolutely outstanding for 3 people with main course, drinks & coffee with the quality of the food €80 including tip more than just okay. I hope it stays that way. I will definitely stop by again and can only recommend him.

Yes, the food was really good. The owner has changed for old reasons. Still, the food was really good. There were no guests there which was very strange. We were the only guests. Funny. This feeling.

We are absolutely thrilled. The menu offers a great selection and not just the typical restaurant/beer garden dishes. We've already tried everything - everything was very good, including the quantity. Most of the time everything can be chosen in smaller portions. The service was/is always friendly & cheerful, attentive, committed and quick. Dogs receive a nice bowl of water immediately upon arrival without asking. The rustic guest room is large and pleasantly laid out, and not noisy even when full. The beer garden in the courtyard with a beautiful tree in the middle is very well maintained & the atmosphere is wonderful! The Gasthof zum Schloss and its new operators have definitely landed in our top 3! We are already looking forward to the next time! Keep it up!

The price-performance ratio no longer fits. Portions are too small for a man (side dishes). Anyone who has been to the castle before will be disappointed. The food itself doesn't taste bad. There's just something missing compared to the old castle. (salad bar)
