Sportgaststätte Wulfertshausen in Friedberg

Stätzling seems to be a gourmet destination. The food tastes fantastic and is of high quality! The braised ox cheeks were tender and the sauce divine! The Jörger schnitzel was perfectly breaded and the cordon bleu was good. Stätzling is apparently a great place to eat in Augsburg. The Galaxy sports bar, with its Syrian and German cuisine, is another outstanding example. The only downside was the Kaiserschmarrn, which had too much caramelized sugar and wasn't at all light and airy as it should be. The tiny cup of applesauce was also far too small. Unfortunately, I had to deduct a star for that, especially since the price of €10 was too high. Otherwise, considering the excellent quality of the food, the prices were almost a bargain.

Restaurant Miramare at the Friedberg Tennis Club is a truly excellent Italian restaurant with very warm and welcoming service. We were there for a birthday celebration and were very pleased. We were greeted with Prosecco and homemade potato chips. Then came a superb and varied appetizer platter, accompanied by delicious pizza breadsticks. The à la carte main course is always complemented by daily specials on the blackboard, and everyone was very happy. We especially appreciated how well the restaurant catered to the children's needs, serving spaghetti and pizza for them as an appetizer. Highly recommended! They also offer pizza for takeout.

A magical spot by the lake with friendly service. An exceptionally extensive limoncello, peach, currant-rosemary, etc. Spritz menu with liqueurs primarily from the Allgäu distillery, as well as excellent Kuchlbauer wheat beer and smoked trout from the region with homemade beetroot horseradish and homemade brawn, as well as other delicious snacks. Next door is the swimming lake for refreshing dips. It's the perfect distance from Augsburg city center for a short bike ride (across the Kuhsee). We love coming here!
