After the brewery cellar tour, we had a snack in the Zieglerbräu. The organizers should coordinate better. On the city's Fbg website it says the snack is included in the €15 registration (drinks extra). The guide said the tour was free, but you paid €15 for a snack and your first drink. The snack buffet consisted of sausage/cold roast, cheese and a mixture of cheese/sausage salad spread. Unfortunately you had to try it first to know what was in it because everything was white. Stupid for vegetarians. There was salad decoration for vegans. The rolls were a little too baked for my old teeth. At the end when I wanted to pay for the extra drink at the bar, I was told I had to pay for all the drinks. Then it was 29€ for 6 drinks (3 beers, 2 specialties, 1 apple spritzer), uiuiui 🤑

Furnishings like a brewery inn should be, wood paneled and dignified. The staff was very friendly and quick, we only waited a short time for the food. Unfortunately, the daily special was already out, the food from the menu was okay, but nothing special.

We enjoyed a very pleasant and relaxed dinner here. Very attentive and friendly staff.

Very disappointing unfortunately for me and my wife for the first and last time. The music in the kitchen was way too loud and then Arabic music. In addition, the system in the inn was also running and the music from the kitchen drowned out the music. Very unpleasant and uncomfortable as a result. The food was okay for the price. The waiter simply assumed that the rest was a tip and simply turned around. Very cheeky, as I said, the first and last time for us. This restaurant has nothing to do with Bavarian cosiness.

It was my second visit within 3 days. The liver spaetzle soup was clearly translated, unfortunately I had to go back and have the broth diluted with hot water. The liver spaetzle was good.

Ambience is friendly, Bavarian. Toilets at the back on the 1st floor, well maintained, disabled toilet available on the ground floor. Food was okay, unfortunately there was only gravy for all dishes (a bit inappropriate for the onion roast and the taste was okay), price-performance ratio was reasonable for most dishes, but the side dishes were very small (1 mini dumpling for each roast... All meat dishes are wonderfully tender, top quality, our favorite in Friedberg Highly recommended, Franconian Schäufele, at lunchtime for those who are very hungry. A nice economy if you lived 20 years in the past. It is very dark as the interior is dark. Sitting on the chairs becomes uncomfortable at some point because there are no or hardly any cushions! The music is too loud so that you can't have a meaningful conversation with each other. The staff is friendly, but they could have asked if you would like something to drink. Instead, you have a lively conversation with your colleague and when there are few guests you can lose track of things. About the food: I really can't understand how many people can praise the food. I had Jägerbraten with “homemade” spaetzle and mushrooms. The mushrooms were there but you had to look for them and for someone like me, who deals with a lot of restaurants, the sauce came from mixed or from the bucket. The roast was edible, but streaked with fat. The spaetzle, well, was ok, but I doubt they were homemade. I could choose between a normal portion and a small one. However, I was disappointed with the quantity for the price! My partner had the pork fillet for €18.50. Also with spaetzle and a sauce. His 3 pieces of meat were seared too hot and therefore dry. You try to add color with a cherry tomato on all the plates between the spaetzle, sorry, but you can save on the vegetables if there's nothing else on it except freeze-dried parsley. Conclusion: We will not visit this restaurant again

I remember Ziegler from my youth. My sister celebrated her wedding there. Yes, unfortunately there isn't much left from the Zieglerbräu's heyday. The furnishings correspond to a good Bavarian tavern, although the chairs and benches would do with a few cushions. The food is...sorry...a disaster. Ready-made sauce in which you look for mushrooms in vain. The supposedly homemade spaetzle are clearly ready-made, the meat is dry and salty...in order to cover up the complete lack of a salad or vegetables, a cocktail tomato is placed on the spaetzle. At the same time, the waitress is standing around chatting away somewhere, nice but very fake. The Ziegler has long since lost the character and charm of days gone by. In terms of quality, it is no longer even mediocre. However, prices of around €20 for a meal without salad or vegetables are steep. The innkeepers would do well to bring significantly more quality and freshness into the kitchen and also make the guest's stay comfortable. Ready meal with fried meat garnished with cocktail tomatoes from the discounter, presented carelessly and unimaginatively for €19. I will avoid Ziegler in the future because for 3-4 euros more you can really get something on your plate elsewhere.

There is a draft at the entrance. Every time the front door opened. We were assigned a seat. Food was good but it was already cold, which was a shame. Only one waitress there, but he was on point, very nice and quick.

We were here with the whole family on Christmas Day and were really positively surprised. Actually we were only here because we couldn't get a place anywhere else. When we were here a few years ago the food was so-so, but this time everyone loved it. The service in the hall was very good and the food was excellent despite the many people. The reduced menu was just right. Well done. We come here more often now. PS: The toilets could use some renovation.

Rustikales Gasthausmit gutem Bier und netten Mitarbeitern. Waren heute zu einer Veranstaltung im Saal. Der Zwiebelrostbraten mit Käsespätzle war lecker.

Gute altbayerische Gaststätte, prima Essen aus regionalen Produkten, zu absolut erschwinglichen Preisen.

Rustikales Gasthaus mit gut bürgerlicher Küche. Die Gerichte sind klassisch und köstlich zubereitet. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen kam in sehr kurzer Zeit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles uriges Wirtshaus wovon es nicht mehr viele gibt. Gemütliche Atmosphäre. Service und Küche Topp. Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

An sich gemütliche Gaststätte mit freundlichem Service. Parkplätze gibt es direkt vor der Tür am Marienplatz. Der einzige Knackpunkt ist das Essen. Das ist zwar nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts besonderes. Es ist ok. Positiv sollte noch erwähnt werden, dass die Preise fair erscheinen.

Hatte Schweinebraten, leider nur mit dicker Einheitsoße, die gleiche gab es auch zur Ente. Ich brauche das nicht nochmal. Ganz weit weg vom ehemaligen Ochsen in Göggingen.

Schönes und gemütliches Lokal mit einer abwechslungsreichen und guten Küche. Wir waren in einer größeren Gruppe hier, der Service war gut. Kommen gerne wieder.

So muss Brauhausküche schmecken. Wir waren 6 Personen! Essen war wirklich lecker, sehr lecker. Ich persönlich kann nur den Burger vom Angus Rind mit Süßkartoffelpommes. Sowas von lecker!!!

Leuke lokaal restaurant in het centrum. Hond was ook toegestaan. Eten was goed en de Apfelstrudel geweldig.

Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Servicepersonal. Das Hauptgericht war sehr lecker. Die Nachspeise war frisch, lecker und schön angerichtet. Kommen sicher wieder.

Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett bequem. Leider gab es kein Frühstücks Buffet und das Frühstück war sehr einfach gehalten. Preislich aber in Ordnung. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Aber kaum greifbar. Parkmöglichkeiten vor Ort

Schade dass Gäste am Volksfest abgezockt werden mit Würstchen und Kartoffelsalat aus dem Eimer! Das könnt ihr besser….

Sehr limitierte Karte, an sich wäre das ok, wenn das Essen wenigstens gut wäre. Burger war durchschnittlich. Reibedatschi hätten wir selber wahrscheinlich besser gemacht. Die Kasspatzen machen wir selber definitiv besser, waren mehr ein mehliger Brei als Kasspatzen. Deswegen unserer Ansicht nur für Leute empfehlenswert, die keine großen Erwartungen haben.

Muss mann hin. Alles Paletti super.
