Wow, what a wonderful evening at the Zollhaus. We've been living in Forchheim for eight years now and almost feel guilty that we only came by today. But that certainly wasn't the last time. The food was excellent and the wine recommendation was great. The portion sizes were also really reasonable. The evening was crowned by very friendly and personal service. Thank you very much and compliments again to the entire team!

Very tasty food. A bit pricey, but still acceptable. One point deducted because the restaurant constantly reeks of smoke. Smokers (including the owner) stand outside, right in front of the door, which, of course, is opened regularly.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Delicious food (starter, main course, and dessert) at reasonable prices—something that's becoming increasingly rare. It certainly won't be our last visit, even though we don't live in the region.

My husband and I ordered lamb dishes. The food was really tasty and the staff was also very friendly. The place was very nice and clean 👍👍👍. I will always come back.

When you arrive at Kellerwald, you're initially at a loss as to which "beer garden" you should go to. Many don't want to walk far and visit the first ones. We consulted TripAdvisor! Best Rating: Bell Cellar. You have to walk a long way to get to it, so this rating seemed "deserved" to us. Wrong thought. Service and atmosphere excellent! Hardly any artisanal, warm dishes, lots of “snacks”. Shish kebab pan with fries: Fries very good. The "goulash" without pieces of pepper, little onion, a lot of bacon and a few cubes of meat (complained about, it was refilled!). But the sauce like it comes from a glass bottle. Ketchup-sweet, few flavors, pasty! Cheese plate: plentiful and colorful, but... There was no time for a pickle, some onions or a lettuce leaf as decoration. Bread from the day before. Hot liver sausage with sauerkraut: Sausage delicious, the sauerkraut "as if warmed up straight from the can/bucket. Crunchy like fresh sauerkraut tastes! Unfortunately the worst cuisine during our Franconia vacation, where we never once had any reason to complain. Prices are all fair. But if Schäufele is on the daily table 30 minutes and maybe 20 portions are “out”, was that left over from the previous day? We know our way around the catering industry. What we got here was simply inexpensive, but boring with no quality craftsmanship!

Very good beer and Schäufela. You can very well spend some time here. Unfortunately we had to stick with a beer and still had to drive.

I was there with a registered tour group. Still good, friendly and fast service. Apparently the roulade I ordered was the one Last. It came a little torn on the plate and, according to the waitress, it was a bit too small, so the kitchen also served it with a piece of sauerbraten. Unfortunately the roulade was too salty for my taste, which I kindly informed the innkeeper about. He took it just as kindly, took my plate with him and immediately brought a new portion of roast as a replacement (because there was no roulade). Conclusion: This is how it works when the guest talks to the landlord and doesn't vent their frustration in a sneaky way on social media. Thanks to the team. We'll be back.

Nice atmosphere, friendly owners, authentic cuisine, quickly prepared and very tasty. Special requests were also taken into account and the price was completely reasonable. If I wasn't just passing through, I would come back.

We had a very nice evening, but I wasn't very impressed with the menu. The food was good but not great. Would go again but more for lunch.

After I was thrilled with the first orders, the taste of the pizzas has deteriorated extremely. They just taste like nothing, completely tasteless. And then €13 for a pizza. That doesn't work. We'll order somewhere else again...

Very, very tasty, in our opinion the best burger in all of Forchheim. We've been looking for a long time for burgers that are as delicious as the ones we know from Brazil. Hit the mark here. The patties taste very good and the bacon deserves special mention. We have also eaten haloumi and falafel burgers as a meat alternative. Haloumi is very crispy and one of my favorites. We discovered the fries with oregano, they are something new but a great idea and very tasty. So far we have only ever had it delivered, always without any problems and very satisfied. As a tip: We previously ordered via Lieferando, but you can also order online directly from the dr.food homepage and it's a little cheaper :)
