Auf keinen Fall mit Schlemmerblock! Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass man mit Schlemmerblock deutlich kleinere Portionen bekommt als normale Gäste. Neben uns wurden große Portionen und viel Reis serviert. Wir bekamen zu viert nur eine kleine Schale Reis. Außerdem wurde unser 4für2-Angebot nicht akzeptiert, obwohl wir 4 reguläre Gerichte bestellt hatten. Sehr enttäuschend und nicht zu empfehlen.

Essen schmeckt, aber es gibt bessere indische Restaurants. Personal sehr freundlich. Weñ Speisen zum Mitnehmen, dann sind diese gut verpackt. Preise für indisches Restaurant eher moderat.

Das beste indische Restaurant in Forchheim! Das Essen ist hervorragend gewürzt und geschmacklich einfach top. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass es verschiedene Schärfestufen gibt – von mild bis richtig indisch scharf, sodass für jeden etwas dabei ist. Auch der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein kleiner Wunsch wäre noch ein Kinderbereich oder ein paar Spielsachen für Familien, dann wäre es wirklich perfekt. Ich komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder

Ein bisschen kitschig aber sehr nett aber hat uns vergessen und sehr gutes Essen

Wir haben bestellt und nicht im Restaurant gegessen. Die Soße schmeckt durchweg nach Nacho-Käsesauce. Von diesem Geschmack hat man auch noch Stunden später etwas, da er nicht weg geht. Die Sauce machte bei allen drei Gerichten den Eindruck aus verschiedenen Fertigprodukten zusammengerührt worden zu sein. Sie enthielten keine Gemüse oder wenigstens Zwiebeln und hatten eine wässrige - NICHT wie bei indischem Essen gewöhnt sämige - Konsistenz. Insgesamt schlechtestes indisches Essen, das ich jemals gegessen habe.

Nie wieder, 85€ zwei Personen, das Essen war leider nicht die Hälfte wert, das atmen war leider für mindestens 10-15 nicht möglich weil die Schärfe verbrannt wurde und ein wie eine Dampflok rauchendes Essen an den Tisch kam und durch die verbrannte Schärfe alle Gäste keine Luft mehr bekommen haben und alle Fenster geöffnet werden mussten, Qualität sehr minderwertig, 30€ für eine Garnele die schon am Geruch merkbar über ihre Zeit war, Rest zwei drei Teile hänchenbrust Stücke und jede Menge Zwiebeln und kohlblätter, Reis kalt, angeblich Special, ja das war es auf jeden Fall, Salat für 12€ einfach lächerlich mit fertig Dressing, naan Brot war naan Brett und dünn, Tischdecke waren einweg Servietten bunt, Nachtisch auch viel zu teuer für Mini Portionen, auch die Bedienung war nicht grade freundlich, sie ließ auch den Salat obwohl wir die ersten Gäste waren ewig lang auf der Durchreiche stehen anstatt es uns an den Tisch zu bringen, Getränke kamen auch sehr verzögert, einfach alles in allem von vorne bis hinten schlechte Erfahrung und auch noch das Geld nicht wert, also wir werden diesen Laden nicht noch einmal besuchen, lieber Restaurants wo sich die Menschen Mühe geben, das war hier leider auch sichtbar nicht der Fall.

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant in indischem Ambiente. Das Essen war hervorragend zubereitet... Portionen könnten allerdings größer sein. Die Bedienung spricht Denglisch, was natürlich ungewohnt wirkt und unnötig ist. Außerdem mussten wir lange auf Getränke und Rechnung warten, trotz wenigen Gästen. Aufmerksamer Service geht anders. Im Großen und Ganzen ist Haveli aber einen Besuch wert.

Sehr (!) leckeres Essen. Das Hühnchen in Rahmspinat mit Ingwer und Knoblauch war super, ebenso das Garlic Nan. Man wird gefragt, welchen Schärfegrad man möchte, toll. Sehr aufmerksamer und netter Service. Schönes Ambiente. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

War mal besser, die Portionsgröße hat nachgelassen und leider wird manchmal an der falschen Ecke gespart. Ist aber trotzdem in Ordnung.

Three of us spontaneously stopped by this restaurant for dinner. The service was good without being intrusive. The food was very tasty, generously sized, and of excellent quality. The ambiance matches the cuisine without making you feel uncomfortable. We'll be happy to return.

Five of us were there for my wife's birthday. We had a selection of starters and five different main courses, plus, of course, lassi. All the food was excellent and just as spicy as requested. Everyone was very satisfied. A wonderful evening in a pleasant, peaceful setting. We'd go again!

After several years, we wanted to try this restaurant again. We weren't that impressed the first time either. Unfortunately, we didn't like the following things: - Strong smell of incense sticks or something similar - very disturbing - We ordered dish 223 - a vegetarian vegetable korma. Unfortunately, it didn't have a korma flavor. We thought it was just a vegetarian curry. The taste was good, so we didn't complain. - Our second dish was dish 243: chicken with a cashew, almond, and saffron sauce. It was a pink sauce that tasted very bland and hardly resembled the advertised sauce. Conclusion: Our second visit to this restaurant was also unsatisfactory.

The staff was very, very helpful and the selection was excellent. Tasted excellent, we'll be back.

I haven't had such delicious Indian food in a long time. We stumbled upon this via Schlemmerblock and ordered an appetizer and a lamb and chicken dish. Everything was delicious, and we'll definitely be back. Thanks again for the delicious food.

I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to this Indian restaurant! The food was simply fantastic – full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and freshly prepared. The wonderful flavors of Indian cuisine in the Haveli are really great for my taste. Reminds me of Ayurvedic cuisine in India. We like to come back for dinner again and again. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the stylish and cozy atmosphere - perfect for leaving everyday life behind. The atmosphere was relaxed, with loving details in the furnishings that immediately catch the eye. The food was to die for! Each course was freshly prepared, tastefully balanced and beautifully presented. You can immediately tell that high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail are used here. I would particularly like to highlight the staff: extremely friendly, attentive and professional. I felt well looked after throughout without it seeming intrusive. Wishes were fulfilled immediately and even small special requests were no problem. Overall, an all-round successful experience - I'll definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant!

Wundervolles Erlebnis – rundum empfehlenswert! Ich war absolut begeistert von meinem Besuch in diesem Restaurant! Schon beim Betreten wurde ich vom stilvollen und gemütlichen Ambiente empfangen – perfekt, um den Alltag hinter sich zu lassen. Die Atmosphäre war entspannt, mit liebevollen Details in der Einrichtung, die sofort ins Auge fallen. Das Essen war ein Traum! Jeder Gang war frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt und wunderschön angerichtet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit hochwertigen Zutaten und viel Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wird. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal: äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Ich habe mich durchgehend gut betreut gefühlt, ohne dass es aufdringlich wirkte. Wünsche wurden sofort erfüllt und auch kleine Sonderanfragen waren kein Problem. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis – ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

We often ordered there and, with a few exceptions, the food was always good. But today all the main courses were too salty. We ordered for over a hundred euros. Everything for the cat. How can you deliver such over-salted food to customers? That was our last order from Haveli.

The Indian restaurant Haveli is beautifully and comfortably furnished. Hospitality is very important here, everyone is very nice. It took a little longer than usual from ordering to serving, but that wasn't a problem. So you could talk in peace and not have any stress. We chose the main course medium hot, I have to say it was enough, it was just about acceptable if you generally don't want to eat spicy food. The taste was good, there's nothing to complain about. The portions should be larger, at least when it comes to meat. On request you can get more rice, free of charge, great. The two of us had flatbread as a side dish, which also tasted good. We paid just under €41 for two main courses, a side dish and two drinks. If the portions were a little more, that would be absolutely fine. If you are very hungry you can't avoid an appetizer. On the other hand, we left the restaurant fit without being overeaten. Conclusion: Something different in taste, ambience and background music good. You should definitely try it out.

We order from Haveli regularly and the quality is consistently excellent. Depending on the workload, deliveries are super fast and all the employees we came into contact with were extremely friendly. We can only recommend Haveli!

The food was of medium quality and came with some kind of tomato sauce. Hardly any of the spices that we expect from an Indian restaurant came through. I had a shrimp dish. These were tiny and didn't have great flavor. My friend had a dish with chicken, which didn't really convince her either. My dish cost €20. Add a small bowl and rice to it. We tested the restaurant as part of the Schlemmerblock and were rather disappointed. The interior is careless, outdated and sometimes a bit dusty. It seemed to us as if a former German restaurant had been given a pseudo-Indian look. The service wasn't particularly accommodating either. We ended up waiting probably 15 minutes while the owner ate and didn't serve us. In the end we got up and paid directly at the counter. We won't come back as there are much better Indian restaurants in Forchheim. The Little India or Bombay House restaurants offer better taste, friendly service and much more effort has been put into the decoration. Maybe the owner should reconsider this in order to remain competitive in the future.

Beim Hereinkommen empfing einen leider ein Duft nach Toilettenreiniger, was eher nicht so angenehm war1 Verblüffung kam bei uns auf als wir erfuhren, daß man Wein (angeblich jeweils nur aus einer kleinen Flasche 0,2L) nur in jeweils dieser Menge bekommen könne!? Es gäbe keine große Flasche, was schon eher sehr merkwürdig ist!? Wir sahen nie auch nur eine dieser ominösen 0,2 L Flaschen, zudem schmeckte sowohl der "Lugana", wie auch der "indische Wein" sehr lasch, schade! Der Chef im Service ist ausgesprochen nett und flott, aber beim Essen schmeckten die Pakoras doch sehr europäisiert und waren eine Mischung aus Chicken McNuggets und paniertem ..., aber nicht wirklich besonders! Auch die Hauptgerichte wußten nicht wirklich zu überzeugen, waren aber nicht schlecht, so daß wir dieses Lokal eher: Nicht empfehlen können.

The food was delivered on time and was very tasty. Unfortunately there was very little content in the various dishes. Lots of sauce but little meat and/or vegetables. The amount of rice was ok.

I've been going here for years. The food is also very good. Unfortunately it is becoming more and more expensive and the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Had tandoori chicken yesterday. No more bread on the iron plate, instead just a cabbage leaf, 3 pieces of meat for 20€. Very unfortunate.

The colors of the food were bright, the paneer tasted good, the colorful rice was okay, the dips for the samosa were watery and we didn't like it. A plastic flower is on the table. There is also a kind of electric tea light on the table. But it couldn't be turned on, the batteries were empty, as was the light on the next table. Operating with three button cells is also not very ecological. The staff are friendly. I found the music to be restless. I also felt a bit cold despite wearing warm clothing, so I would have preferred a higher room temperature.

Four of us were there with Schlemmerbook. Maybe that's why the food was so minimal. 4 measly little pieces of meat with lots of sauce and a bit of rice. Not enough even for those who eat less. The service was good.

Really delicious Indian food. We've been there several times. Very nice and courteous staff. If you are asked about the spiciness of the food - medium hot is normal for someone who likes it spicy. You can eat really spicy Indian food, but you don't taste much of the dish, which is actually a shame (only for die-hards).

Food is always great and that's why I'm happy to pay the price for it. What's a bit annoying is that the online ordering process works well, but the last few times the order wasn't ready because the order supposedly didn't arrive at the restaurant and you had to wait because it still had to be prepared then.

There were two of us in the beer garden, which is quiet and pleasant on a side street. Very good freshly prepared Indian dishes. For most dishes you can choose the level of spiciness. Mild, spicy/piquant or spicy. Hot can also be ordered as European hot or Indian hot. We like spicy food and chose Indian spicy. It was really really spicy and very, very tasty. We will come back, it will probably be European spicy, I think that's enough for us. Haveli is without question highly recommended.

My family and I ate at Haveli for the first time yesterday. Compared to other Indian restaurants, the food is extremely fresh, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is appropriate. We would love to come back and our children love this restaurant too. The boss comes to you and takes great care of the customers' wishes. The range of dishes is varied and there is something for everyone, our little man got a little treat for free from the boss. ❤️ We would love to come back.

The food is very tasty. However, I think the portions are too small. The "large salad" with the "huge shrimps" is, for example, a small cake plate with 5 normal shrimps. But the taste is great.

Overall a good restaurant. There was nothing wrong with the taste. Just the furnishings etc. could be a little better. Chairs outside were definitely not as nice and not as comfortable

Food was okay, but unfortunately nothing more. All of the curries lacked a bit of flavor, but that may have been because we all ordered mild. 4 pieces of chicken per curry (approx. 80g in total) is also manageable. Very friendly and courteous service.
