Excellent food, good value for money

We've been coming here for years and are more than satisfied every time. The food is truly delicious and the service is excellent. We really enjoy being here, whether summer or winter. It's very cozy inside, and the garden outside is so beautiful!

We had a wonderful evening. Regional, seasonal, and fresh food of the highest quality 😍 innovative and classic dishes. The homemade kimchi is amazing. The appetizers and the tiramisu are highly recommended!

A great experience for the whole family.

We visited this Vietnamese restaurant and were warmly welcomed by the staff – the service was truly friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to our expectations. The spring rolls were fine and tasted freshly made, but the rice had a bland, almost pasty flavor, and the chicken tasted like it had been frozen – both in texture and aroma. Overall, this detracted from the dish's quality. It's a shame, because the ambiance and service had led us to expect more. Perhaps we just caught them on a bad day, but for us, it wasn't a completely enjoyable experience.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. It's not noisy, and a quiet, relaxing evening is guaranteed. Delicious food, reasonable prices, and genuine hospitality characterize the "Café and Restaurant Kostas" (Heilig-Kreuz-Str. 14, 86152 Augsburg). We love coming to Kosta and his daughter Olga, who fills in for her father on Friday evenings. The menu is clear, and the dishes are homemade. There's plenty of choice, and the quality is always very good. We've never been disappointed at Kosta. We like to share an appetizer plate for two people. It always changes. The tzatziki is divine. I often order the galaktoboureko for dessert. All the meat dishes are also delicious. The presentation is clean and plentiful. Since they offer lunch and dinner, you have a good choice of when you'd like to come to the restaurant. In summer, you can sit at a small table in front of the restaurant. It's quieter in the restaurant, but not because it isn't an excellent one. - In my opinion, it simply has to do with the fact that the former customers who came here before going to the theater have disappeared since the "perpetual construction site at the Augsburg State Theater" was built! - That's something you have to deal with as a business owner. This innkeeper is a very hard-working man. Kostas is a rather quiet owner but always very friendly. We feel at home here and will remain loyal to him.

Small restaurant, very limited selection. Only serves tapas and paella if ordered in advance. The tapas are good, but nothing special. We found all the tapas too expensive. If you want more bread, you have to pay extra! I paid almost €50 for 3 tapas, 1 dessert, and 2 drinks, which I think is too much.

The conditions in this establishment are simply unbearable. The working atmosphere is characterized by fear, pressure, and a complete lack of respect. Especially in the kitchen, a climate prevails that can only be described as toxic – constant yelling, public humiliation, and a complete lack of appreciation for the employees. Even as a guest, you notice how loud and aggressive the tone is behind the scenes – it's almost unbearable to listen to. The employees seem overwhelmed, scared, and are bossed around as if they were machines rather than human beings. You can literally feel how exhausted and drained they are. It's hard to imagine how terrible it must be to work there day after day. It's also striking that almost exclusively foreign workers are employed – many of them apparently in precarious situations. One suspects that these people are being deliberately exploited because they have fewer opportunities to defend themselves. The head chef presents himself as polite and charming to guests, but internally he rules with shouting and intimidation. This is no way a workplace should be run. This behavior is degrading, disrespectful, and profoundly inhumane. No matter how many awards or stars this restaurant has, a business that treats its employees this way deserves no praise or recognition. The way people are treated here alone is enough to make you never return. A disgrace to the entire industry.

A top location, you won't find anything like it anywhere else. If you just want to go to a pub for a cozy beer, it's great. They also serve some delicious, freshly prepared dishes. The ambiance is incomparable and you certainly won't find anything like it anywhere else. So, go there.

Clean restaurant and the best falafel I have eaten in Europe. This restaurant has 3 hot and fresh falafel. Oh my gosh.

I celebrated my 60th birthday here on Saturday. I was completely satisfied, 😊 Everything was perfect. Delicious, extensive buffet, attentive, very friendly staff. We felt like royalty! My 30 guests were all very impressed by this beautiful restaurant 👍 and the service. The price/performance ratio was good. I highly recommend it and will celebrate there more often in the future.

It's edible, but it's nothing special and not homemade. It's just average convenience food. But it's OK for a small-garden gastronomy.
