Die Portionen waren winzig. Ich hatte gebratenes Schweinefleisch bestellt, aber es waren nur wenige Scheiben, und es war verkocht und fettig. Ich würde es auf keinen Fall empfehlen.

Das Essen, welches ich mitgenommen hatte war sehr lecker. Leider erhielt ich anstatt der bestellten Pekingsuppe "nur" eine Wan-Tansuppe und das obgleich ich die Bestellung zur Sicherheit inkl. Zeigen auf die Bilder in der Karte zweimal durchgegangen bin. Auf eine diesbezügliche freundliche Mail von mir an das Restaurant erhielt ich keine Antwort Leider gibt es nicht so gute Deutschkenntnisse sowohl bei der Bedienung, als auch ihrem Kollegen. Aber sie waren beide freundlich. Ich hoffe, dass das in Zukunft hier besser läuft und ich sollte immer sofort den Kassenzettel kontrollieren. Die Teigtaschen der Wan-Tansuppe hatten kaum Füllung und bestanden zu 90% nur aus Teig. Komplizierte Parkplatzsituation vor Ort (nur Anwohnerparkplätze und zwei Schwerbehindertenparkplätze. Die Anwohnerparkplätze waren alle belegt und ich hätte da ohnehin nicht parken dürfen. Also wartete ich im Auto. An einem Donnerstag Mittag war nur ein Tisch im gesamten Restaurant belegt.

Was für ein fantastisches Mittagessen! Jedes Gericht, das wir bestellt haben, war absolut köstlich und voller authentischem Geschmack. Der gedämpfte Fisch war unglaublich frisch und perfekt gewürzt, das Schweinefleisch saftig und zart, und das Mapo Tofu hatte genau die richtige Balance zwischen Schärfe und Würze. Auch das Wokgemüse hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt – es war frisch, knackig und perfekt zubereitet. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und effizient, und die Atmosphäre war warm und einladend. Alles war frisch und wunderschön angerichtet. Wenn Sie authentische chinesische Küche mit hochwertigen Zutaten und exzellentem Service suchen, ist dieses Restaurant definitiv einen Besuch wert. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder! Absolut empfehlenswert.

Die Qualität der Speisen hat sich verschlechtert: Kaum Meresfrüchte im Meeresfruchtgericht, Huhn an Chili bestand zu 50 % aus Chilischoten. Es gibt eine vollkommen neue Karte. Es wirkt, als ob der Pächter gewechselt hätte. Gäste waren so gut wie jeine anwesend

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend im Huan Restaurant. Das Hotpot und die Sichuan-Gerichte waren unglaublich lecker und authentisch. Unsere ganze Familie hat das Essen und die Atmosphäre sehr genossen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Wir waren HotPot essen in diesem Restaurant. Der Service war leider unter aller Sau und das Fleisch schlecht und vergammelt. Auch das Gemüse war von schlechter Qualität. Wir haben den Kellner auf das Fleisch angesprochen, dieser hat es ohne Worte und ohne Entschuldigung vom Tisch genommen und beim daran riechen das Gesicht verzogen. Als uns nach den Umständen vollständig der Appetit vergangen ist und wir das vergammelte Fleisch bereits in der Brühe hatten, haben wir nach einem Preisnachlass gefragt. Dieser wurde unfreundlich mit 50% auf zwei von drei Fleischtellern angeboten. Als wir das Gespräch nochmals suchen wollten hat der Kellner abgewiesen und gesagt man kann nichts machen. Für 145€ als Vollpreis mit "Rabatt" auf VERGAMMELTES Fleisch und vollem Tisch, da wir nichts mehr essen konnten wird umgehend das Gesundheitsamt informiert. Die Frechheit nicht einmal als Servicekraft nachzufragen, ob es ein Problem gibt und uns als junge Menschen mit Kind nach so widerlichem Essen abzuweisen und nichtmal nach einer Lösung suchen zu wollen ist absolut nicht einzusehen. Ich empfehle jedem der dieses Restaurant in Zukunft besuchen wollte, seine Reservierung abzusagen und beim McDonald's nebenan am Kö essen zu gehen. Das ist seinen Preis in dem Fall mehr Wert. Das Restaurant wird uns nie wieder sehen und nach einem weinendem, panischem Kind, dem schlecht wurde hoffentlich in Zukunft seine Türen schließen.

Zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder, drei warme und ein kaltes Gericht. Die Portionen waren durchschnittlich und das Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Die Sichuan-Küche war nicht zu scharf. Beide Kinder wollten unbedingt wiederkommen.

Ich bin - mittlerweile frustrierter - Kunde der ersten Stunde. Nach Eröffnung (leider) in der Coronazeit war Huan eines der besten chinesischen Restaurants, die ich in Europa besucht habe. Trotz spärlicher Besucherzahlen und allerlei Pandemieauflagen waren Qualität und Geschmack gigantisch. Sicherlich habe ich alleine durch dieses Restaurant fast 10 kg Körpergewicht zugenommen. Nach etwa 2 Jahren und als das Restaurant verdienter Weise endlich voll wurde wechselte dann der Koch. Der neue Koch konnte die Qualität nicht ganz beibehalten, kochte aber solide, während die Portionen kleiner wurden und die Preise langsam stiegen. Ich gab dem Restaurant immer mal wieder eine Chance, aber an die alte Qualität konnte es nicht anknüpfen. Mittlerweile ist die Karte stark überarbeitet (viele neue Gerichte, HotPot-Angebot), sodass ich auch dank der hohen Bewertungen Hoffnung hatte, dass das Restaurant vielleicht wieder an die Anfangstage anknüpfen könnte. Mein heutiger Besuch war aber eine herbe Enttäuschung. Die Gebratenen Nudeln schmeckten 1:1 wie die mir aus Schulzeiten in einer ostdeutschen Kleinstadt Bekannten gebratenen Hühnchennudeln aus dem vietnamesischen Imbisswagen. Es fehlten eigentlich nur noch ein Plastikteller und ein Röstzwiebeltopping… Auf eine perverse Art und Weise fand ich es - wohl getriggert durch Kindheitserinnerungen - sogar ziemlich lecker. Aber in einem hochwertigen Restaurant und zu dem aufgerufenen Preis von 14,90 € war das schon frech. Das Jingbao-Hühnerfleisch kam ertränkt in einer undefinierbaren Sauce an den Tisch und hatte weder mit dem Originalrezept noch mit dem Bild auf der Karte etwas zu tun. Die anderen Gerichte waren geschmacklich noch ok, was sich wohl hauptsächlich durch den Einsatz von sehr viel Salz erklären lässt. Dass hier inzwischen mit allenfalls minimalem handwerklichen Können gekocht wird, zeigt sich auch an der Schnitttechnik bei Fleisch und Gemüse. Dass die Paprika in sämtlichen der Gerichten eigentlich nichts zu suchen hat sei dabei als Zugeständnis an den europäischen Gaumen und die Warenverfügbarkeit in deutschen Städten geschenkt… Ebenso, dass der früher obligatorische Gruß aus der Küche inzwischen gestrichen ist. Alles in allem: Wer keine guten chinesischen Restaurants kennt, kann hier in dem schicken Ambiente eventuell glücklich werden. Für mich ist es aber ein kulinarischer Abstieg von einer erstklassigen Küche hin zu knapp über Straßenimbissniveau. Nur die Preise haben sich von gehoben auf höchstes Niveau gesteigert…

Essen war gut, nicht billig, sauber und schnell. Service kann etwas freundlicher sein. Restaurant war sauber und Ambiente mit Geschmack gemacht.

Für 60,-€ zu zweit haben wir wirklich mehr erwartet, der Service ohne Worte, kaum mit uns geredet. Das Essen selbst war für uns das schlechteste Essen das wir je in einem China Restaurant gegessen haben. Die Enttäuschung war wegen der anderen Rezension daher groß. Werden wir daher nicht weiter empfehlen

Im Restaurant Huan herrscht eine gemütliche Atmosphäre, und die Einrichtung ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Wir haben uns für Hot Pot entschieden – mit Pak Choi, Pilzen, Nudeln, Lamm, Rind sowie Jakobsmuscheln und Garnelen. Besonders positiv ist uns aufgefallen, dass wir sehr gut beraten wurden. Da wir zunächst recht viel bestellen wollten, hat man uns freundlich darauf hingewiesen, dass die Menge vermutlich zu groß gewesen wäre. Der Service war insgesamt sehr freundlich und kompetent. Die Garnelen, Jakobsmuscheln und das Lamm wurden allerdings leicht gefroren serviert – ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob das beim Hot Pot so üblich ist. Geschmacklich war alles sehr gut. Allerdings empfanden wir es als etwas anstrengend, ständig darauf achten zu müssen, dass die Zutaten nicht zu lange im Topf bleiben und „totgekocht“ werden. Dadurch leidet ein wenig die entspannte Kommunikation am Tisch. Trotzdem war es eine interessante Erfahrung. Im Grunde erinnert das Konzept allerdings stark an ein Fondue mit Brühe. Persönlich genieße ich es eher, wenn die einzelnen Gänge serviert werden und man sich ganz auf das Essen und das Gespräch konzentrieren kann.

Super Restaurant mit großer Karte. Wir haben uns quer durchprobiert und alles war richtig lecker und frisch zubereitet. Dazu wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient und hatten so ein super Abend. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Ich habe einen Hot Pot bestellt und explizit nach einer Erklärung gefragt. Man sagte mir nur, ich solle 3-4 Zutaten wählen (Brühe allein 10 €, pro Zutat 5-6 €). Die Anleitung beschränkte sich auf 'Fleischbällchen 2-3 Minuten kochen', aber es gab keine hilfreichen Tipps zur Zubereitung – die Fleischbällchen wirkten wie TK-Ware und der Chinakohl kamen als ganze Blätter, was beim Selbstkochen unpraktisch war. Für zwei Personen (über 80 € inkl. 2 Getränke, Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Hot Pot) erwarte ich als Gast bessere Vorbereitung aus der Küche. Am Ende hatte ich einen selbstgemachten Suppentopf für viel Geld – solide, aber enttäuschend teuer und ohne Service-Support.

Authentisches chinesisches Restaurant mit sehr leckeren Gerichten von hoher Qualität. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Die Inneneinrichtung vermittelt das Gefühl, direkt in China zu sein.

Ich fand es etwas kalt im Restaurant. Aber das ist vermutlich normal, weil nur wenige Gäste da waren. Der Service war sehr nett und das Essen hat gut geschmeckt.

Excellent hotpot, even for larger groups! There were seven of us, and we ordered two pots divided into three sections. A wide selection of broths and toppings was available, catering to vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters. The service was very friendly, which is a bit unusual these days, but it's worth noting that the place was quite busy. Highly recommended, especially the mushroom broth, the tofu leaves, and the lotus root – I was a big fan! :-)

We had hotpot and it was absolutely delicious! There's a huge selection of ingredients, so everyone can find something they like. The hotpot being in the middle of the table with small plates for the food works really well. You can tell the concept was well thought out. The waiters were also very friendly and attentive, and they regularly checked if we needed anything. All in all, highly recommended!

A few weeks ago, I was here eating here, whether you're visiting Ausburg or live there, and you have to stop and enjoy the spring rolls. OMG! They're delicious, always a hit, but here... I also tried spicy chicken, and that can't be denied. But it was delicious. The place is very pretty and the service is super friendly. I don't speak German, but they made the effort to speak to me in English and even a little Spanish. For that alone, they deserve every single star. Many thanks to the waiter for your help and concern. I'll be back next time, but for something less spicy.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – A Shadow of Its Former Self Four years ago, I visited this restaurant and was delighted by the delicious food. The potato strips were expertly sliced, and the two pasta dishes I ordered were authentic and flavorful. My most recent visit, however, left me deeply disappointed. The fried eggplant didn't match the traditional "braised" look at all and was coated in a sauce that was far too thick. The potato strips were even worse—mushy and poorly prepared, making it hard to believe they came from a professional chef. I'm giving it only one star because the quality has declined so drastically. I hope the restaurant can address these issues and return to its previous standards.

Very good traditional Chinese dishes from Sichuan cuisine. I've been there myself (at least in China, not Sichuan). Service was friendly, fast, and courteous. The ambiance was also appropriate.

Today I went to Huan Restaurant, the food were fine and the service was really friendly. I also ordered the Orange Lemo, it was quite nice 👍. They decorate their Restaurant excellent. Im quite happy that we have a good Chinese Restaurant in Augsburg.

PEKING DUCK??? "Authentic Cuisine"???? We wanted to go out for a nice, authentic Chinese meal today. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the experience. 1. The coconut "lassi" was basically coconut milk with ice. 2. All portions were too small for the price. 3. The authentic Peking duck wasn't really Peking duck at all, but rather deep-fried duck breast like you'd get from a fast-food joint (see picture). ...the menu did indicate that it looked different...but in my opinion, that's a SCAM for the price and what they offer. The employee offered us a refund, but we had already tried the food and ultimately didn't want to refund it. When paying, the employee said that the food would be removed from the menu in the future (so he admits that this is/was a customer deception). !!!! If you don't have Peking duck, please don't offer it!!! I will never eat here again, and neither will my friends!!!

Absolutely not recommended!!! First of all, the owners can't even crack a smile. Totally wrong. I ordered something with chili 🌶️ from the menu. It initially arrived without sauce. When I asked, they showed me that it said "dry" in parentheses. OK, you said that, and I overlooked it. After I told them that I couldn't eat it without sauce, they told me I should have it with soy or sweet chili sauce, but they didn't bring anything. So I ate the dry sauce. And then came the kicker. They had about 10 hot chilies in the dish, which was really overkill. I then said I couldn't eat it like that anymore. But they didn't care. Never again!

The mango milkshake was delicious. The seasoning on the fish-flavored eggplant was authentic. The eggplant was deep-fried and then coated in sauce. It would have been better if the eggplant strips were chopped a little finer. The stir-fried beef was very tender. The cooking method was different from what I've had before, but it was still quite good. The boiled fish fillet was boneless and the meat was very tender. The seasoning was the classic boiled meat flavor. The dish was salty overall, went well with rice, and the spiciness was mild. If you like spice, I recommend asking the waiter if they can increase the spice. I highly recommend it. It's better than most Chinese food in Germany and is on par with regular restaurants in China.

An excellent Chinese restaurant with typical Chinese cuisine. I highly recommend eating here! The ingredients are all very fresh and the taste is also very authentic!

The hot pot with the whole family was a fantastic experience. The prices were relatively reasonable.

We ate at this restaurant for the first time on the recommendation of our China expert, Robi, and we must say we were very disappointed. The food was very fatty, barely seasoned, and cold. It was lamb, and it was almost mutton. My partner had duck, which tasted like game and was also barely seasoned. We've tried quite a few Asian dishes over the course of our lives, but we won't be going back. Sorry, but not even the waiter asked how the food was, although he usually asks when a new guest arrives. I think he already knew the answer.

Authentic Chinese hotpot, around 25 euros per person. The lamb was amazing.

The store is very nicely decorated and the service attitude is also good, but the food is not suitable. The cumin lamb should be fried first, and the fat lamb should be used instead of lamb slices; the recommended braised pork was placed with lettuce under it and the braised pork was repeatedly heated on top, which was very disappointing.

Except for the ambience, the food leaves a lot to be desired. The ingredients are so boring, much smaller portion than you get yourself at Go Asian, but tastes just like fresh from the freezer. Never again, Ciao

highly recommend Chinese cuisine

Hot pot tasted pretty bland, hardly any flavor. No comparison to the hot pots we had in Taiwan, for example. Some of the ingredients no longer looked or tasted fresh (marinated beef, broccoli more yellow than green). It was ok, but not enjoyable. We didn't try the other dishes, but I can't recommend the hotpot.

Very nice restaurant with super delicious food. Unfortunately there weren't many vegetarian alternatives but tofu with fried noodles wasn't a problem.

Yesterday the three of us ate a three-part hotpot and were more than thrilled. Good service, a very pleasant atmosphere and the food was simply great. We'll definitely be back!

Authentic Chinese food. Very tasty and great service

Normally everything is great here. The Peking duck tasted absolutely fantastic so far. The day before yesterday it wasn't Peking duck, just a fried duck that tastes better in any cheap snack bar and doesn't cost over 20 euros. It would have been better to say that there is no Peking duck today! And rejecting the criticism I have expressed about this is the absolute incomprehensible climax. We won't be coming back like this!

The only really authentic Chinese restaurant in Augsburg! I love coming here often. The quality is excellent and the food is not “Germanized”. Simply great!

Update March 2025: In my opinion, the Huan has leveled off somewhat and now deserves 4 stars again - not as good as before the changes last year, but solid again. Update March 2024: I don't really know what to say. We have been to Huan several times - the last time was at the end of February and were always very satisfied. This was Chinese cuisine that wasn't mainstream, that you can't get on every corner and in a great, upscale atmosphere. The facility itself is identical, but that's pretty much it. The menu is completely different and now full of standards like fried noodles. The greeting from the kitchen that was usually given before every meal apparently no longer exists, and the schnapps that was served after the meal no longer exists. German pop music is now playing. The mega delicious crispy gyoza that were to be put in have now become fried run-of-the-mill gyoza with sweet and sour sauce (see picture below before the end of February and above now). The two main courses we ordered (sweet and sour eggplant and silken tofu with Sichuan soybean sauce) were good, the eggplant was no longer like it was 4 weeks ago (then fresh-smelling with garlic, now sweet and sour), but still tasty and the silken tofu was still quite similar to before and also good. Nevertheless, unfortunately I can only give this 3 stars. I don't know what caused this change in concept - whether the owner/tenant changed or I don't know - but I think it's really a shame. Nothing really fit together anymore and we felt really uncomfortable. The sound of German hits in this shop, which is still furnished in a rather stylish and elegant Asian way, somehow made you feel like you were in a parallel world. Review from 2 years ago: Very tasty food, service was very attentive and friendly & the prices are absolutely appropriate for the quality. I would say it's even more affordable compared to restaurants like Golden Rice or similar. I think the ambience here deserves special mention, it's a really beautifully decorated restaurant.

It tasted good after cooking for a while, but the seafood didn't feel very fresh. The dumplings didn't have soy sauce, only chutney. The service attitude was average. The mango pudding tasted good and not sweet. Matcha ice cream is also good.

If you're looking for authentic hot pot, you've come to the right place. We have been here twice now and have been very impressed each time. Very fresh ingredients, super tasty broths, top service and nice ambience. The food and drinks arrived quickly and we were checked on every now and then. We liked it very much.

This restaurant was forced to open as a delivery service during the Covid lockdown and still quickly gained a reputation as the closest thing to authentic Chinese cuisine. And that's true, at least for Augsburg. There has probably been a change of ownership in the meantime, which is said to have damaged the authenticity of the food. But the quality has increased again since then, even if the spiciness and intensity of the spices still seem to be slightly adapted to the tastes of people in the West. But it's the real Chinese dishes and the right spices. Of course, some ingredients had to be improvised due to unavailability in this country. Nevertheless, it is still the No. 1 address among Chinese citizens when it comes to food. Original Sichuan hotpot has also been on offer for a while now. At first it was a bit awkward because the necessary tables with built-in heating pots were missing, but now I seem to have gotten the hang of it. The ambience is upscale, although the "best" places are near the toilets, but that's it then not so bad. All in all, definitely the best, if not the only, authentic Chinese restaurant in Augsburg. The food tastes good and is fun. 100% recommendation!

The flavours in all of our dishes were rich and delicious! I just hoped it would be spicier like the Sichuan food I’m used to.

The environment was good and the personnel were friendly. The food was ok for me as a Chinese considering where we are. But I feel the quantity was small and the price was comparatively high. Minimum 50€ per person and a full belly is not really guaranteed. But it could be just our problem, maybe. All in all, I might recommend this one to the friend who wants to try Chinese food but me personally won’t come back here soon.

Great, affordable food paired with good customer service and generous portions! My family and I recently had lunch here, and we were all happy with our meals. Extra points for offering some unique dishes that you won't find at every Chinese restaurant

I really liked this food specialty. It was fun to try a different culture, but I'm sure we didn't do it professionally. I already knew that I liked Miso soup. My partner really liked the Tom Yan. I've never eaten cancer scissors before, I suffered with them, but it wasn't bad once. You could say we tried everything in drinks as well. That short drink X was interesting, but I'll stick with sake 😅

The ambience is nice. The service is very attentive and quick. You can choose between normal dishes and hot pot. So there is also something for non-soup lovers. There is a special hot pot menu on which you can tick what you want and it will be brought to you. We decided on two soup broths. Pho + TomYam. We liked the TomYam a little better. We enjoyed it very much!

Very expensive and outrageously tiny portions! Unfortunately that was the first and last time for us. There are definitely better locations in Augsburg. Conclusion: Hui on the outside, Poor on the inside

Ich war dort zum Mittagessen an einem Wochentag. Es war sehr wenig los, aber die Küche war besetzt und man wurde prompt und freundlich bedient. Es gibt eine Mittagskarte, und von der wählte ich den scharfen Eintopf. Eine gute Wahl, denn die Zutaten waren frisch Und die Suppe war ziemlich scharf. Nicht ganz billig, aber auch nicht der übliche China-Restaurant – Mischmasch. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung und ich werde gerne wiederkommen.

Hatten noch ein Ticket vom Schlemmerblock und haben damit das Restaurant ausprobiert. Achtung, es hat nicht viel mit den "üblichen" Chinesischen Restaurants zu tun. Man sollte mit Stäbchen umgehen können, bekommt aber auf Wusch Besteck..Hatten die "Pekingente" bestellt, gekommen ist die übliche Ente auf Sprossen, das war normal gut aber dazu dünne geschmacklose Teigscheiben in die man wohl den Reis hätte einwickeln sollen..dazu eine nach unserem Empfinden pappsüße dicke braune Soße, die die Konsistenz und etwa auch den Geschmack von Nutella hatte, auf Nachfrage bekamen wir dann Süßsauer-Soße, die man in der Ausführung in jedem Laden bekommt..andere Soßen gab es offenbar nicht. ...Beim Thailänder um die Ecke ist es besser. I recently visited this restaurant and the food was simply amazing! What was particularly exciting was the opportunity to try the “hidden menu”. The dishes were incredibly authentic and reminded me of Chinese cuisine. The flavors were intense and perfectly balanced. The “Spicy Beef” and “Pork” from the secret menu were particularly enjoyable.

The dishes were not only delicious but also very different from the usual Chinese food found in many restaurants. The preparation was perfect and the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. If you are looking for an authentic and unique experience, you should definitely visit this restaurant!

I can highly recommend this restaurant. I had a hot pot with my children. Such a huge selection of fresh ingredients, fish, meat and pasta. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is completely appropriate. We were thrilled.

Quite nice, you have to like the hot pot concept. We paid over €80 for two people and didn't even get full. For that money you could eat out twice somewhere else. Service was also poor, everything took a long time. We won't come anymore.

Very nice, even if small, restaurant with super friendly service and delicious food! When it comes to food you have a lot of choice instead of always having the same 3 menus with 5 different types of meat and the drinks (especially the matcha lassi) are incredibly good Gladly again!

Overall it was okay, but there was nothing special. Menu is pretty simple. 水煮牛肉 wasn't spicy enough and had little meat.
