A classic in the Jakober suburb. Highly recommended.

My family and I enjoyed Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) and Helles (a light beer) or Schorlen (a fruit spritzer) in the beer garden. Very delicious!

A hidden beer garden in the old town, near the Fuggerei. A lovely beer garden with plenty of trees and covered seating. The service was friendly and quick. The food was also good. The only downside during our visit was the incredibly loud atmosphere. Perhaps we had a bad spot under the cover, but the noise level was so high that we couldn't hear the person across from us. The prices are quite steep for the portion sizes, but that's probably due to the tourist surcharge.

The beer garden in the heart of Augsburg is really great. The four chestnut trees create the perfect atmosphere. The schnitzel was delicious, but the sausage salad was a bit coarsely chopped. The service is spread out across several stations, which can sometimes make it difficult to keep track of everything, especially when the beer garden fills up completely within 20 minutes. We'll definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Everything here is lovely. The atmosphere, the staff, and the food are delicious. The service is top-notch. You'll have to see the other guests for yourselves, though.

Great place. Delicious Viennese schnitzel with Bavarian dumplings. Friendly and helpful staff, who speak excellent English. The old trees help withstand the June heat. I highly recommend it.

Wir hatten hier einen fantastischen Abend! Das Essen war hervorragend, besonders der Zwiebelrostbraten war auf den Punkt zubereitet. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und sauber. Absolute Empfehlung für jeden, der in Augsburg gut essen möchte!

Meiner Meinung nach der beste Biergarten der Stadt. Gutes Bier und köstliches, hervorragend zubereitetes Essen mit kreativen, innovativen und schmackhaften Gerichten wie dem Spinat-Ricotta-Strudel.

Im Biergarten war es sehr gemütlich.

Schöner ruhiger Biergarten mitten in der Stadt. Hat nicht ohne Grund Kultstatus. Hoffe der Nachpächter führt das Ganze genauso fort so wie es war! Immer wieder schön einen Abstecher hier her zu machen.

Eine sehr gute Bürgerliche Wirtschaft, leider war der Biergarten wegen schlechten Wetter geschlossen. Wir waren 9 Erwachsene und jeder war sehr zufrieden.

Geschäftlich bin ich oft in Augsburg und das Restaurant hier, ist meistens meine erste Wahl für ein Abendessen nach Feierabend. Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist gemütlich/rustikal, aber auch hell und freundlich. Der Biergarten wunderschön und typisch für die Region. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle total freundlich und aufmerksam. Alleine bekommt man meistens einen Platz. Mit mehreren Leuten würde ich eine Reservierung empfehlen. Das Essen ist hausgemacht und handwerklich gut gekocht. Die Portionen sind ordentlich und man wird auf jeden Fall satt. Es gibt aber auch die Möglichkeit eine kleinere Portion zu bestellen. Gute Sache! Hier passt alles. Komme wieder.

Das Essen ist gut und das Personal auch sehr freundlich. Aber die Küche hat der Laden leider nicht im Griff. Wir waren neulich abends hier und haben etwas über 70 Minuten nach der Bestellung auf das Essen gewartet. Ja, der Laden war gut besucht, aber das ist dann einfach zu lang. Das Essen an sich ist jedoch wirklich in Ordnung, das muss man fairerweise auch erwähnen :)

Toller Biergarten mit alten Kastanienbäumen, teilweise auch überdachte Sitzgelegenheiten, falls es mal nen Regenschauer gibt. Bier- und Essensauswahl gut. Klare Empfehlung! Ergänzung: Auch im Winter ist es drinnen sehr gemütlich. Mir gefällt die außergewöhnliche Einrichtung. Einzigartig, echt, gemütlich.

2026 Update Endlich mal wieder in Augsburg, sofort die drei Königinnen besucht. Da diesmal Wintersaison war, das Lokal innen geöffnet und wie nicht anders zu erwarten, sehr gut besucht. Die Preise sind gestiegen, aber immer noch fair. Die Bedienung superschnell und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war durchaus sehr lecker. Diesmal gab es von der Tageskarte ein Waldpilz Schnitzel. Einzig und allein der kleine und für 4,90 € recht teure Beilagensalat hat das Ganze etwas angekratzt. Hier würde ich doch über eine andere Präsentation und eine etwas größere Portion nachdenken. Alles in allen immer noch eine super Gastwirtschaft mit leckerem Bier. Das nächste Mal bin ich auf jeden Fall wieder hier Super gemütlicher Biergarten mit toller Atmosphäre, Das Bier ist außerordentlich lecker! Auf jeden Fall ist dieses Lokal ein Abstecher wert. Das Essen ist genauso gut wie das Bier. Das Schnitzel ist riesig und auch wirklich selbst gemacht. Ebenso die Salate! Die Crew ist auch Super! Hier kommen wir auf jeden Fall noch mal wieder!

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend. Es gibt gutes Bier und richtig leckere deutsche Küche. War eins der besten Schweineschnitzel das ich in der letzten Zeit gegessen habe. Auch die Käsespätzle waren richtig lecker. Dazu wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient und saßen in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Absolute Empfehlung!

Ich kann das Wiener Schnitzel mit Kässpatzen wärmstens empfehlen. Beides war hervorragend, besonders die Spätzle. Die Zwiebeln waren knackig, der Käse sehr schmackhaft und genau richtig cremig. Das Personal war freundlich, die Atmosphäre angenehm – ein typisches Nachbarschaftsrestaurant, aber modern und sauber. Die Preise waren angemessen.

The Drei Königinnen is one of the most beautiful beer gardens in Augsburg. The quality has been maintained over the years. The service is also very good. When it comes to food, you don't always have to have sausage salad. My recommendation: Paprikageschnetzeltes (paprika schnitzel). Unfortunately, it's not always available. The interior of the 3K also conveys a good vibe. Keep it up!

From my travel blog: "After touring the Fuggerei, it was time to satisfy my empty stomach, and for that, I chose the Drei Königinnen brewery-inn, just around the corner. The inn doesn't brew its own beer, but sells Augusta-Bräu beer. The shop is extremely tastefully decorated, certainly renovated not too long ago, and was a very pleasant first surprise among Augsburg's restaurants. The beer (light, cellar, and dark) was delicious, and the Bauernpfanne from the daily menu for €15 was almost sensational—plus great service."

This place is a disaster. That was the first and last time I went there with my family and friends. We ate there for a child's portion, which was almost €20, which is too much. The meat is like rubber. Four of us tried the same thing and we all vomited afterwards. The waitress apologized several times, even though it wasn't her fault.

Very nice beer garden. Large portions, classic beer garden fare. We also enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, there are few vegetarian options. Not really suitable for vegans. The seating is very pleasant in a kind of courtyard under chestnut trees. There's also a covered area. Indoor seating is also available. Parking is a bit difficult, as it's located in the middle of the city center.

Drinks are self-service, and food is brought to you. Don't worry, you don't have to pay immediately; they have a convenient system for that. We had a lovely time here and can recommend it.

Yesterday, I was there for the first time in the beer garden with friends. The ambiance, sitting between two large trees, impressed me. The service was very good, and when you order the dishes, you immediately taste that everything is peeled, grated, and dressed by hand. There's no automated cooking there; the people working in the kitchen know what they're doing and how to satisfy their guests. I highly recommend the Drei Königinnen. It's not often that restaurants have such a harmonious blend of food, ambiance, and service. I will definitely be back!

Smiling face and delicious taste...

There were five of us there yesterday. I've been to the beer garden several times and I enjoy it. However, the current prices blew us all away. I paid over €27 for two non-alcoholic light beers and a salad. With all due respect, I find €18.20 for the Mediterranean salad with three chunks of feta almost outrageous. Furthermore, service was very poorly staffed, which resulted in very long waits. But unfortunately, that's the case almost everywhere these days.

Unfortunately, our visit yesterday was disappointing. When we arrived, a large gathering of people formed in front of the entrance, with many guests crowding into the restaurant with no regard for others, especially small children. The organization of the reception seemed very uncoordinated. The rest of the process in the restaurant also left a lot to be desired. Although four dishes were ordered at the same time, they each came to the table about 20 minutes apart. This meant that everyone had to eat individually. What was particularly incomprehensible was that the portion of fries for our little daughter was served last. Preparing a side dish like this shouldn't actually take that much time. A side salad that was ordered was initially forgotten and only added without comment shortly before paying. There was no apology or notice from the service staff. Overall, the visit left a very unprofessional impression.
