Das Lokal macht „Appetit“. Die Inneneinrichtung ist gelungen. Im vorderen Bereich ist der Blick auf die Sushi-Köche möglich. An schönen Tagen bleibt der große Biergarten eine Alternative. Bemerkenswert ist das große Angebot auf der Karte. Das macht wiederholte Besuche spannend. Dies gilt für Speisen und Getränke. Viele Gerichte sprechen zudem in ihrer Anrichtung das Auge mit an. Das Leben ist bunt, manches Getränk ist es auch. Die frische Zubereitung ist natürlich ebenfalls ein Pluspunkt. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis geht in Ordnung. Die gebackenen Garnelen sind zu empfehlen. Royal Dragon ist großartig.

Gestern das erste Mal da gewesen mit paar Kollegen. Das Ambiente ist brutal hab ich so noch nirgendwo gesehen sieht einfach top aus. Der Service war überragend nichts auszusetzen. Das Essen einfach wow geschmacklich super lecker und wie es angerichtet wurde, wunderschön. Ist aufjedenfall weiterzuempfehlen!

Gutes Sushirestaurant mit aufwendig gestalteten Interieuer. Preislich für meinen Geschmack etwas teuer aber noch im Rahmen. Der Service war freundlich, die Toiletten sauber und das Sushi gut. Da macht man definitiv nichts falsch!

Waren hier zu zweit an einem Samstagsabend. Die Bedienungen wirkten recht unmotiviert und unaufmerksam obwohl nicht viel los war. Das Sushi war gut, aber ich hatte schon bessere. Summa summarum, kann man machen, ich würde aber nächstes mal ein anderes Lokal besuchen.

Ich muss meine Bewertung aber anpassen. Sushi Erlebnis- super, echt fantastic. Leider für schönes Wetter die Tarasse war total schmutzig, Tische nicht mal dekoriert und draussen steht in keinerlei Verhältnis mit sehr schöne Interior. Echt schade, das es spoiler gibt. Ein bisschen leise Musik habe ich auch vermisst. Schade, das Erlebnis nicht komplett ist und unnötig :(

Ein absolutes Highlight, zwar nicht billig aber es lohnt sich definitiv !! Aber unbedingt vorher Tisch reservieren. Innerhalb von zwei Wochen waren wir 2x da und waren beide Male sehr begeistert. Super liebe Keller und Kellerinnen. Ich bin leider kein Sushi-Fan, aber alle anderen waren begeistert von der Präsentation des Essen als auch geschmacklich. Ich hatte die Udonnudeln in Vegetarisch und die waren ganz ok.

Wir sind letztes Jahr durch Zufall auf das Royal Dragon aufmerksam geworden. Wir hatten Glück und ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Vor kurzem waren wir dann nochmal dort und es ist einfach super. Freundliches Personal, Essen schmeckt sehr gut, werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Tolles Sushi Restaurant in der Nähe von der City Galerie. Parkplätze sind vorhanden an der Straße vorhanden. Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an verschiedenen Sushi Variationen und zusammengestellten Menüs. Qualtiativ top, sehr lecker und super schön angerichtet.

Heute waren wir zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant und haben hier meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. Es hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Besonders überrascht hat uns die kleine Geburtstags-Dessert-Überraschung – das war wirklich sehr aufmerksam und hat uns sehr gefreut. Der Service war insgesamt hervorragend. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Ehrlich gesagt hat uns das sogar etwas überrascht, weil man in Deutschland so einen hohen Servicestandard leider nicht so oft erlebt. Auch das Essen war ausgezeichnet – die Sushi sind unserer Meinung nach die besten in Augsburg. Alles war frisch, wunderschön angerichtet und sehr lecker. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder.

It was delicious but really expensive.

I was unfortunately disappointed. The udon soup as a starter was far too sweet and too small for €7. The sushi roll that followed was supposed to contain truffle, but the black bits on the sushi were definitely not truffle; they were almost completely odorless and tasteless. Perhaps radish? €14 was far too much for this one roll with fake truffle! The fish in the sushi, however, was fresh and tender.

Delicious sushi 🍣 Everything was there, and the service was very friendly.

We've eaten here several times before, and today was our first time with our baby. The food and atmosphere are fantastic; we received a very warm welcome and felt completely at ease. The waitress was incredibly child-friendly and attentive, and they even provided a highchair. I can confidently say that they serve the best sushi in Augsburg!

When we arrived, the heating wasn't working. The restaurant was barely 16°C. The food was good, but the plates it was served on were so ice-cold they looked like they'd been left outside in winter. Completely unacceptable. The extractor fan in the kitchen also seemed to be malfunctioning. The dining room was very smoky. The lighting in the back of the room was very dim; you practically needed a flashlight to read the menu. If so many problems occur in one day, perhaps the restaurant simply shouldn't open. The excellent homemade cocktails and the good food served on cold plates couldn't disguise the fact that, overall, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

If you like a modern, rather dark ambiance (lots of black, cool Asian style), this is the place for you. The food was absolutely delicious: the sushi tasted incredibly fresh, and you could see that it was being prepared fresh. The presentation is particularly impressive: whether you choose a pre-made mixed platter or create your own sushi, it's arranged very elegantly on a board, sometimes even with a smoke effect. It looks fantastic! The service was very friendly, although occasionally a little slow. The prices are on the higher side (as is typical for good sushi), but for the quality, freshness, and presentation, they're absolutely justified.

Lunch dishes are served quickly and the price-performance ratio is good. Unfortunately, the server always checks her phone first to decide whether she can still take the guest at lunchtime. A friendly "Good afternoon" would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, we were turned away again today at 1:55 p.m. with the explanation that the kitchen closes at 2:00 p.m. It's a shame; this restaurant lacks a welcoming atmosphere.

We were in Augsburg and were looking for something to eat that evening. The selection of sushi creations is very large. We didn't order a combo, but rather individual pieces, and the presentation was beautiful. The quality and price were just right. This won't be our last visit! ☺️

This is a hat, not a place. We asked to get here 4 times. The last time I even reserved a table through the website, but an hour later I got a rejection. We have never been there even though it is not a super Michelin restaurant. When you go there they ask if you have a reservation? Even if it is empty and if you did not reserve, they just say bye. But I even made a reservation and received a message bye

They didn't make a reservation, but they didn't even bother to check if there was any availability. Totally unprofessional.

We were a group of five with a baby, but had only reserved for four. I wanted to add one more person, but that wasn't possible. So I called three days in a row to say we'd be five instead of four, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone, no matter what time I called. We went anyway, but the staff member's reaction to the surprise guest was very abrupt, and I had to listen to them tell me it was completely unacceptable. After about five minutes of waiting, we finally got a table for five, but I thought the reaction was a bit over the top, hence the deduction in the service rating. Otherwise, the food was very good, the service and the waiters were also very good, and the atmosphere was very nice and cozy. Despite the staff member's reaction, I would eat there again.

Royal Dragon is simply outstanding! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy yet elegant, the location beautiful and truly inviting. The service is a 10 out of 10 – super friendly, fast, and attentive. And the sushi? Absolutely top-notch! Fresh, perfectly presented, and a true taste sensation. I can wholeheartedly recommend it – a delight every time! 🍣✨

A very atmospheric place. The waiters are smiling, the food is delicious. I'd like to mention the restaurant's design: it's all oriental in style, with pleasant lighting that creates a very cozy atmosphere. My girlfriend and I now go to this restaurant for special occasions.

The food was simply delicious! It was a bit more expensive than other Asian restaurants, but the ambiance and quality justify it. We had to wait a little longer for our drinks and to order at first, but after that it was quick.

We had a delicious lunch today. I liked that the menu also offered some dishes for people who aren't sushi fans. My coconut curry with crispy chicken was also very tasty!

I stumbled upon the Royal Dragon by chance while staying at a hotel around the corner for business. The outside isn't that inviting at this time of year, but the interior is very nice and there's a lot of attention to detail. Without a reservation, I was seated near the entrance, which was fine for me; the beautiful rose on the table added ambiance. The sushi selection was okay, but not great (the combos looked great) for a sushi factory. The combo I ordered with an extra roll arrived fresh after about 20 minutes. Nice to look at, but the seared sashimi was almost cooked, the crispy rolls had too much crunch, and the fish was also cooked. It's a shame, because the platter had potential. The price was okay; with a 0.2 liter of Chardonnay and a tip, I came to €50.

The food and service were good to very good. The ambiance was cozy (inside) but also a bit worn in places. The food mainly relies on the show of presentation (a tiered stand with dry ice mist), but the taste was also very good, albeit not exceptional (that might sound too narrow-minded, sorry). In any case, we had a very enjoyable and successful meal and would gladly return.

We actually quite liked this restaurant, but the service this time was so rude! The four of us ordered a sushi platter for 8 people, which, for whatever reason, made the staff extremely annoyed. The staff constantly talked over us and looked disparagingly in our direction. In the end, we wanted the rest of the sushi wrapped (which we had already stated when ordering). The waitress initially refused, and after a while, she brought us wrappers. In the end, we had to wrap the sauce-covered sushi rolls ourselves with our fingers. Sorry, but for a platter that costs €180, you can expect decent service. Even the man next to us said the waitress was rude to us. Gossiping, poor service, long waits,... We won't be visiting the place again and will tell our friends about it. Absolutely disrespectful staff.

We had a reservation and were quickly shown to our table. Then we had to wait at least 30 minutes before we could order. The food arrived another 30 minutes later. The waitress accidentally spilled one of the hot dishes all over my boyfriend's pants. Their commitment to cleaning and compensation was very limited. My boyfriend then wiped the table himself. The food was okay, nothing special. A curry, for example, was almost 70% mushrooms, which was quite unsatisfying. The rest was good. It took some time before we could order dessert after dinner. One dessert we ordered never arrived. But by then we'd lost our appetite. In total, we were in the restaurant for about 2.5 hours and spent most of it waiting, even though we made ourselves known. The restaurant was quite full at the beginning, so I understand if you have to wait a bit longer here. Towards the end, there were still 4-5 tables occupied, and yet there was hardly any response. All in all, not satisfactory. Too bad.

The food was good, but nothing earth-shattering. The service was friendly and decent. Drinks were a bit pricey. The ambiance looks quite chic at first glance, but once the restaurant fills up, the noise makes it hard to enjoy the atmosphere.

We were fooled by the good reviews. Unfortunately, a very disappointing visit. We had to wait over an hour for our food. When it finally arrived, the waitress spilled half of the hot curry sauce down my partner's pants – without a real apology or offering a solution. For dessert, we ordered ice cream, which was never brought to our table. We finally tried to pay, but no one else came, so we had to wait forever. Overall, very poor service – we won't be back.

Sushi is very much tailored to us; everything has sauce or mayo on it. I've been to Japan several times, and you don't know that kind of sushi there. You can try it once, but you don't have to.

Super delicious sushi with some very creative combinations. The presentation is first-class. It's always busy, so reservations are best. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Augsburg.

The Royal Dragon is actually a good address for upscale sushi/Asia fusion cuisine. However, last Sunday lunchtime we were very disappointed. Perhaps it was due to the summer holiday season, but the service was nothing like our previous visits, when the restaurant was always packed. Although it was barely busy this time, the waitress made several errors. You can choose between regular spritzers and the much more expensive "deluxe spritzers" to drink. We specifically emphasized "regular spritzers" when ordering, but we received the more expensive versions; the waitress didn't respond to this observation. The sushi was also specifically ordered without mayonnaise; of course, it arrived with it. The waitress said, "Oh, sorry," and left. For the main course, we ordered three dishes from the lava stone grill, which are prepared with two special sauces. Of course, the special sauce that gives the dish its flavor was missing here too. However, upon request, the waitress brought it to the table only twice instead of three times. No apology, no price concession, or free espresso to make up for it. With a total bill of around €100, it's really not too much to ask for more from a restaurant like this.

Waiting forever to be served, even though you've already called... Rude to boot. You wait about 20 minutes to pay, even though you specifically say you'd like to pay.

Wonderful atmosphere and overall a friendly and caring service. The restaurant is well designed and this eye for design is transferred to the food and drinks presentations. Very aesthetic and pleasing for the eye. Food wise there’s many sushi choices that are made of high quality ingredients and taste very well. I personally dislike the fresh cheese combinations 1 too creamy for sushi but that’s me. Others may like it. Of the separately served meats and fish choices I was rather disappointed. The meat was too well done and the entire combination with vegetables lacked “umami” - it was just not well balanced.

I was just there with my children. The shop was pretty empty, but we were simply ignored. After 25 minutes, my daughter politely asked for a menu, which she was given, and then the ignoring continued. We've been there a few times and it was good. Today it was just unpleasant. We left after 45 minutes with empty stomachs.

We celebrated a birthday there; the atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and the drinks were amazing. The food was very good, arrived quickly, and was beautifully presented. The many different cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were also very good. We'll be back.

Dream sushi! Presentation, taste, ambience, everything at the highest level! We were there twice, even though we live in Munich and have to travel a long way. If you want to have a special sushi experience, then it's worth coming here!

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the service, which did not bring 2 orders even an hour after the others, after the emergencies they brought us twice the amount without any apology, even though we only wanted our original order. As a result, they wanted us to pay for the food we did not receive.... everything was probably solved by the manager, even with an apology, but that did not fix the unpleasant feeling.

This visit was a huge disappointment. The service was confused, they forgot food for our children, we asked politely if they would bring the food, they just apologized and left and we waited another 50 minutes! In the end, they brought the food twice. Instead of apologizing, the waitresses started arguing with us. When we were about to pay, they tried to serve us the food twice and two waitresses had a very unpleasant argument with us and it was a ruined evening. The food was really delicious, but these two women ruined the whole atmosphere of our evening.

Two of us visited the restaurant on a Tuesday evening. We really enjoyed the ambiance. The service was very friendly, but also a bit slow. The drinks were excellent. We had a homemade iced tea and a ginger/lemon soda. Both highly recommended. The sushi was delicious, but somehow lacked that "aha" or "wow" moment. The presentation of the sushi was exceptionally appealing. The seared tuna with rice and vegetables was excellent.

Overall I was satisfied, but not entirely thrilled. The sushi itself was good, but I've had better before. However, the selection was large and the quality of the ingredients was high. The prices were okay considering you pay for the quantity and presentation. The portions were generous and the presentation was very attractive. However, the decor of the place wasn't quite to my taste. It was very modern and fancy, which was a bit too much for me. I prefer something a little simpler and more comfortable.
