Very good food and nice service. I would have given 5 stars if the dishes and especially the glasses had been clean. Maybe you should replace that.

The restaurant we visited offers an extremely attractive and pleasant ambience that immediately invites you to linger. The harmonious design of the rooms and the loving decoration create a cozy atmosphere that is perfect for both romantic dinners and social gatherings. The food was simply fantastic! The cuisine relies on fresh ingredients, which is clearly noticeable in every bite. You can feel the love and care with which the dishes are prepared. Each dish was not only outstanding in taste but also artfully presented, which further enhanced the dining experience. The service was very friendly and attentive - the staff were always there to accommodate our requests without seeming intrusive. What struck me particularly positively was how quickly the food was prepared, so we didn't have to wait long. Although the restaurant is not the cheapest in the area, I can say that it is worth every penny. The high quality of the food and the extremely friendly service fully justify the price. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

My friend and I have been here at least 7 times at different times. Regardless of whether it was fully booked or there were still places available, the quality and service were always excellent! I would recommend it at any time and am already looking forward to our next visit!

A great new sushi restaurant near the City Gallery. The non-alcoholic cocktails taste special and are refreshing. The two of us ate the vegetarian sushi menu for €40. We were really full because there was also a large roll with tempura and there was also seaweed salad. We'll be back.

When I ate the sushi, it was an incredible taste experience. An absolute must for every sushi lover. Even sushi haters will be converted here because it is so delicious. We can only recommend this restaurant!

We were here for the second time today; after we were able to experience last Saturday as a feast for the palate and soul. The ambience is fascinatingly tidy and at the same time romantically dreamy with the unusual dragon motifs on the walls. Subdued lighting and, above all, the quiet (i.e. the absence of the intrusive sound that is common in other restaurants) turn an evening for two into a culinary and romantic adventure. From a culinary point of view, this is mainly because the term “fusion cuisine” is accompanied by the chefs’ highest craftsmanship and creates a well-rounded concept. My wife has never liked fish or seafood, but tonight she ate all of the Surf-n-Turf griddle. Her comment: “Kiss my ass, it’s delicious. If other people could cook that well, I would have eaten this sooner.”😁 We are already “repeat offenders” and didn’t have to think twice about finding a reason to come back soon.

So stehen zum Beispiel auf jedem Tisch frische Blumen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und kompetent, Reservierung hatten wir keine und haben trotzdem einen schönen Tisch bekommen. The Royal Dragon is a very nice restaurant. The ambience inside is simply magical with many beautiful design elements and attention to detail. For example, there are fresh flowers on every table. The service is very friendly and competent, we didn't have a reservation and still got a nice table. The aperitif and vegetarian sushi were very good! Thank you for that! We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, there are not many restaurants left where the ambience and quality of the food turn an evening into an experience. The Royal Dragon is an exception and I'm glad this restaurant was recommended to me. The staff is super nice, the ambience makes you feel completely at ease and the food... It's a true revelation. Overall, a wellness program for the palate and soul! We were there today and reserved a table for next week. Conclusion: If the ingredients were individual letters and the staff were the punctuation marks, the Royal Dragon team would succeed in creating a beautiful poem.

In my opinion the best sushi restaurant I know. Very polite, unobtrusive, friendly and fast service. Great selection of all kinds of sushi dishes and especially with the combos at a more than acceptable price. The sushi is lovingly arranged as works of art on wooden boards and with dry ice to create an experience. Makis don't just consist of a scrap of fish and tons of rice, no, exactly the other way around and are of outstanding taste quality - this is particularly clear in sake sashimi, where there is no dilution in taste apart from the pure fish. In addition to the culinary enjoyment, the interior design is also stylish and coordinated. Soft lounge music and ambient lighting round off the meal - great!

The ambience inside is very nice, the outside area is quite bland. We were there for the second time and unfortunately very disappointed, the sushi was completely tasteless, we also mentioned this but there was no reaction. The service wasn't particularly good either, the drinks were long gone and no one came anymore. Given the prices, you can find something better in Augsburg, the selection is big enough.

We really enjoy eating there, the cuisine is excellent, the only thing that really bothers us is that it is very cold in the restaurant and we had to eat with a jacket on...I've seen more guests eating there with a jacket on ....it would be nice if we could change that, otherwise we would be very satisfied.....

The dishes are very attractively prepared and the portions are very sufficient! All in all, definitely worth a visit (probably with the risk of repeating 😄) Certainly not the cheapest restaurant in terms of price, but absolutely okay for what is on offer! The staff is friendly and on the ball. The food comes to the table quickly… What more could you want?

I have rarely had such a negative experience with a restaurant as with the "Royal Dragon" in Augsburg. Even trying to look at the menu proved extremely difficult. The menu couldn't be found on the restaurant's homepage, which forced me to call the restaurant directly. On the phone I met an extremely unfriendly and unhelpful employee. When I asked for the menu to be emailed to me, I simply received the brief reply that this was not possible. No accommodation, no suggestions for solutions – just an unfriendly “no”. The conversation left me with an extremely negative impression. The employee simply suggested that I just come to the restaurant, order something and wait for the food. He didn't seem to care that this was extremely impractical for me as a customer. I just wanted to pick up the food and drive on, but the restaurant showed no willingness to accommodate or offer a customer-friendly solution. In times when customer service is becoming increasingly important, the "Royal Dragon" in Augsburg shows no understanding or accommodation. This experience was extremely frustrating for me and I cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

Royal Dragon is a restaurant that is suitable for ambience and show, but less for good value for money and allergy sufferers. The interior is beautifully decorated and a real eye-catcher. The same can be said about the sushi - unfortunately it doesn't taste convincing. The duck was dry, the salmon burnt. When you think of expensive salmon, you imagine something else. Unfortunately service was very slow. We had to wait 1 hour for the food. IMPORTANT FOR ALLERGY SUFFERERS: Some of the menu is not trustworthy. We ordered sushi, which is supposedly (according to the menu) without shellfish. When it arrived there was shrimp tempura in it. This was not stated on the map. The staff also said that the sushi combos cannot be prepared in an allergy-friendly manner. Is it too much to ask the sushi chef to leave out the shrimp? That's really a pity. ⭐⭐

Very nice restaurant, unfortunately the service is completely overwhelmed. The sushi tasted okay, nothing special, but nicely prepared. The cocktail tasted like old tap water, unfortunately not particularly tasty and certainly not for the money. After eating I had a stomach ache, I've never had anything like that after sushi. Unfortunately that was the first and last time we were in this restaurant. There is therefore no recommendation for friends and family.

Whether it's beautifully prepared sushi, warm dishes, non-alcoholic drinks... everyone will find what they're looking for here. In terms of price, I also think the place is reasonable, although the drinks are rather in the upper price segment. But everything is still within reason and you definitely get something unusual for your money. Unfortunately we had to wait quite a long time for repeat orders and the invoice, which is why we deducted a star for service. Otherwise the staff was very friendly. I've been here several times and would love to come back!

I go to the Royal Dragon almost every week and it's always an experience. Courteous, fast service, delicious, varied food and beautifully served. The price is reasonable, not as exorbitant as in many other restaurants. Parking in the immediate area is difficult, I recommend the City-galerie car park, 10 minutes away and very cheap. Very nice ambience due to the clear, not overloaded, modern "Far Eastern-looking" furnishings. Sushi was deliciously prepared and was a feast for the palate from start to finish. I would have liked a little more ginger and also more of the seaweed salad. Both were intended for 2 people, but would only have been enough for 1. Price/performance absolutely fair. The dinner was worth the money. We came hungry and with high expectations and left full and happy.

Royal Dragon can be described as an all-round experience. Outside you can sit on a wooden terrace under the trees and inside you can sit in a beautifully decorated, colorful but traditional restaurant. On my first visit we ordered a variety of sushi and this was served to us on a large wooden board with several sticks and a mist of dry ice. Ordered 2 of the suggested sushi mixes and found them very tasty. On my second visit I tried the udon noodles and I have to say that I can only recommend them. In general, I would describe it as the portions were decent and you were well full.

The service is not good at all and not accommodating. Unfortunately the sushi wasn't tasty at all. Plates and co. were dirty. Never again!

The price is already in the upper segment, but everything is freshly prepared. For this plate + extra we paid around 75 euros, if you include drinks we would be 90 euros. Happy to come back :)

The restaurant offers a great ambience. Reserved a table for 4 for Saturday evening at 8 p.m. The food was very tasty, but we had to wait a long time for our food. During the time we were waiting for our order, two empty plates with a bowl of soy sauce were placed on the table, which stood there for 30 minutes without making any sense because it was taken off the table when our food was served. At around 9:45 p.m. we were finally able to eat, after we often had to watch new guests get their food before ours. The clear favorite of the evening was the surf and turf rolls. My conclusion: Well suited for an evening with family and friends. However, the service should be significantly improved, as our bill also included 2 cappucinos that we never ordered. 6 adults and 3 children had dinner today. What can you say about the food, more show than food. Juicy prices for cucumbers and radishes. The service should be better trained. You don't want to feel like you're in the cafeteria at the end of the evening. To the management - when you eat sushi you want to see fish and not something else like vegetables etc

We were here on Saturday evening and had made a reservation (mandatory on the weekend). The restaurant itself is beautifully designed with 2 different colored areas and is really impressive. We then ordered nigiri with salmon, oysters, coconut curry with duck and the small sashimi combo, along with a few cocktails and a Passion Caramel dessert. The drinks and food were quickly at the table and beautifully presented (some with dry ice, which had a very nice effect when served), and it tasted great. We were very impressed and would come back immediately. In addition, the service was nice. In the end we paid €140 with a tip, which is absolutely ok given the good quality.

However, within 10 minutes it was full and every table was occupied. The staff was very attentive and the food was served to a very high standard, from presentation to taste. The sushi was simply brilliant and was prepared with a lot of love, the oysters were very fresh and delicious. The cocktails were also tasty, but not sensational for 9.90 euros. Overall, it is always an absolute recommendation.

An experience restaurant! Today we were at the Royal Dragon for the first, but not the last, time. We ordered the mixed sushi platter for three people, which left nothing to be desired. Also the crispy duck with udon noodles and tuna from the lava stone grill. All dishes were beautifully presented and were of high quality. The cocktails tasted good, but they didn't win any awards. The ambience with the harmonious, coordinated lighting was fascinating and calming at the same time. Our service employee was very polite and friendly. - you have to have time and patience until you get your reserved seat and drinks. + for the long wait we got a dessert variation on the house. At prime time on Saturday evening you have to hunt for parking spaces.

A magnificent place. Waitress at reception a little too grumpy for being 7 minutes early, as well as for other requests. I have worked a lot in the sector, and although I know that there is often a rush, that is not the most appropriate way to address the customer or the other waitresses. Other than that, perhaps the best sushi restaurant in Augsburg, compliments to the chefs, the dishes are magnificent, the location is stunning.

Extraordinary, yes, it is an experience. I've been there 5 times now and have never been disappointed. There are always 5-6 of us and everyone likes it, especially my older children love the restaurant and they are absolutely incorruptible. Everyone knows what I'm talking about. There are 2 rooms, red, supposed to symbolize fire, blue, supposed to symbolize water. Nice facility to feel good. The chairs, mostly unmentioned, are also worth seeing. When it came to starters we had everything from soups, spring rolls and summer rolls. Very good feeling when eating. Everything is fresh and extremely tasty. Actually, a starter with a main course is too much, unfortunately we can't do without it, everyone agrees. Main course, crazy, me, we take the dishes from the groups and put them in the middle for everyone, which is actually not possible. The food arrives in pre-made racks with smoke, everything has to be posted immediately and it's a shame to take anything away. After the 5th time everyone has their preferences. You can't really describe it, yes, it is extraordinary, you have to see it for yourself. And in the end everyone is happy, which is really important. In terms of price, yes, not exactly cheap, I paid 50 euros per person, but never regretted it. It was worth it. My children also reflect this to me. Dessert is too much. We only got this far once. 2 desserts for everyone with six spoons.😂 Parking, yes, not extensive, but we always found some with 3 cars. Conclusion: I can only recommend a visit, not constantly and every day. My incorruptible adult children say 5 stars.

Something completely different but very tasty and great service

It's a complete disaster! We made reservations for 8pm, and our drink order was taken at 8:45pm. Food arrived at 9:30 p.m. So we waited 1 1/2 hours, sushi was ok, but there was a hair in each of the warm dishes!! Simply disgusting!!! Furthermore, the waitresses don't understand German and the order was taken twice. When I asked her that we hadn't ordered twice, she became very loud towards us and still demanded the money for it! We paid €180 for 4 people, which is a complete impudence, we didn't touch the dishes we ordered twice and we also told her straight away that it wasn't ours! Of course we will take the food with us if you pay for it!!! An additional €10 tip was given!! Yes, bill or not, when the food arrived twice, the waitress was asked about it and she was simply rude and complained to us at the table! Of course the food is on the bill! So I don't understand this stupid answer, you had to call the waitress 3 times to take an order, do you seriously think that I'm going to make such a fuss about hair in the food when you're already rude in there?! Instead of compensation, I have to deal with such a stupid answer from you. That's definitely called great service :) Once and never again!!!

We booked for dinner, and table service was quick, friendly, and attentive. My partner is German, and all the different waiters that served us were able to easily switch between English and German. The menu was in both German and English, and there was a wide variety of options available for other dietary requirements. We got the fusion set which had a mix of sashimi, maki, nigiri, and a freestyle sushi made by the chefs on tonight and sweet banana perls for dessert which wasnt too big, was creamy and nutty and the right amount of sweetness. The drinks (tokyo flow, angels garden, drunken dragon and green lady) were refreshing and fruity. Really enjoyed eating here :)
