The wasabi is watered down, lacking in flavor and spiciness—the cheap, artificial paste from the supermarket plastic bag tastes better. The sashimi is sliced ​​far too thickly. Unfortunately, the staff doesn't speak German and doesn't respond to feedback.

Extremely unfriendly staff. We arrived a little over an hour before closing time, and yet we were approached a total of eight (!) times within 20 minutes – with phrases like: "Are you ready?", "Can I help you?", "Can I take your order already?" The waitress literally stood there staring at us, asking if we'd finally finished eating. I understand that we were close to closing time – but it's completely unacceptable that they just took our plates away even though we weren't finished! She didn't even ask, "Can I take the plate?" – she just took it. She also didn't even mention that they were closing soon. And what does "soon" even mean? Our plates were cleared away 25 minutes before the official closing time. Yes, we didn't arrive at the ideal time – but that doesn't give anyone the right to stand right next to us, constantly asking questions, or staring at us with a "When are you leaving?" face. Why this behavior? What is the point of this passive-aggressive “standing next to it and staring”?

Great atmosphere and excellent food. The sushi and Asian dishes are beautifully presented and taste simply fantastic. The service was friendly, but rather neutral. Overall, it's worth the price! We'll be back. 👍

We started the evening with delicious cocktails. Our dishes were all delicious and of excellent quality. The service was extremely attentive and helpful. Only the construction site of the State Theater across the street spoiled the visual impression a bit when sitting outside. We'll definitely be back.

Recently I ordered a delivery via Uber-One, only one portion “Miso Ramen”. The accuracy of the information that was displayed was perfect. It was worth it. It was delivered as it was just ready-to-serve. Definitely recommended.

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Die Bedienung hat uns sehr freundlich und professionell empfangen und zum Tisch geleitet. Die Cocktails sind nur zu empfehlen. Auch die Hauptspeisen waren super. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Abend. Es ist zwar etwas höher preisig, aber die Qualität stimmt.

Absolutely my favorite restaurant! From the service to the ambiance to the food, everything is just perfect here! Anyone who complains about the prices doesn't understand the importance of rising food costs and fair wages and can go to a snack bar with their mood. We think the price is absolutely justified, keep it up! As for the noise level, it's not much louder than anywhere else when it's busy!

A stylish Asian restaurant with a special presentation. Finally sushi again after my pregnancy. The restaurant has a modern, Asian-inspired atmosphere. The stylish furnishings and pleasant lighting create a relaxed atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. A special highlight is the sushi, which not only tastes great but is also creatively presented - with dry ice, which creates a great visual effect when served. The ingredients are fresh, the rolls are well combined and the taste is on point. Rarely have I had such good sushi :) The soups and starters are also highly recommended. The service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a great restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy good Asian food in a nice atmosphere.

Everything was very good. But it's unusual for it to take so long to serve the food in a restaurant that wasn't even full. Honestly, it took a long time. About 45 minutes to bring the food. On the other hand, I think it's very expensive. It's very good and the quality is good, that's true. But charging €7 for a 0.75l bottle of water seems exorbitant to me. Two people: €75 + tip... definitely not for everyone.

Chimico – A Top Asian Restaurant with First-Class Food Chimico is definitely one of the best Asian restaurants – even in Munich, it would be top-notch. The quality of the food is outstanding, and the service is always friendly. However, you should allow yourself some time and make sure your order is taken in full. The portions are impressively large, so it's recommended to order in small portions rather than all at once. Perfect for sharing or for particularly hungry guests. Chimico is already one of my regulars when I'm in Augsburg – I highly recommend it! 🍜🔥

I ordered something via Lieferando and waited 40 minutes and the last 5 minutes it was canceled without a reason, I find it very annoying

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 The Chimico in Augsburg is a true discovery! In terms of taste, the dishes are absolutely top class, and the arrangement and presentation were perfect - a delight for the eyes and the palate. We were particularly impressed by the reaction of the staff: when we pointed out that the gyoza were no longer completely warm, they responded in a very professional manner. Small things like this can always happen, but what matters is how they are dealt with - and here it was solved in an absolutely customer-oriented manner, which made us very satisfied. All in all, a recommendable restaurant that we would be happy to come back to at any time!

A really nice restaurant. We spent a wonderful evening here. The food was very good and the selection was varied. The drinks menu is also impressive. The ambience is dark chic and looks great. The staff is consistently friendly. We would certainly have drunk more if there had been more staff and come to our table more often. But not bad in the end. If there's anything worth criticizing, it's that it's relatively loud.

CHIMICO - An unbearable experience I have been a loyal customer of CHIMICO for years, have recommended it to everyone and regularly celebrate birthdays and events there. It was always my first choice even for simple meetings with friends. I often ordered takeout, especially when it was still available through Lieferando. But what happened to me now has completely destroyed my trust in this restaurant. I called to place my order as usual. I said loudly and clearly the numbers of the dishes I wanted as they were listed on the menu. However, due to a language barrier, the employee on the phone took my order completely incorrectly. It wasn't until I got home, after a 30-minute drive, that I realized I had received the wrong sushi. When I contacted the restaurant to clarify the issue, the behavior of the staff was completely unacceptable. Instead of offering a solution I was told to bring back the wrong food and pick up my real food. This is simply unreasonable for a 30-minute journey. The staff on the phone were unwilling to resolve the issue or deliver the food themselves, even though the fault was clearly theirs. No apology, no offer of restitution - nothing. At the end of the conversation, the employee simply wished me a nice evening and hung up. This is not how you treat loyal customers! This behavior is outrageous and shows that customer service is not important at CHIMICO. I am extremely disappointed and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone again. Such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior is simply unacceptable. This review emphasizes the long-time customer's disappointment and anger, highlights the restaurant's lack of customer service and unprofessional problem solving.

Unfortunately, the edamame were completely overcooked and the sushi on the large sushi plate for 3 was unfortunately not fresh or a bit tough. The restaurant inside looks nice, but the tables are so tightly packed that you have no privacy during conversations.

A chic restaurant next to the theater... Very nice atmosphere inside, very friendly and attentive staff. The food came very quickly and was really tasty and lovingly prepared. You can tell that everything is fresh, the duck was really tender and freshly fried, not fried days before like many other Asian restaurants. The Japanese coffee was also very impressive and it was nice that it was offered in two versions: warm and with a cup of crushed ice to turn it into an iced coffee... The Chimico is really a recommendation!!!!

The best Pho Bo in the city! It’s very pleasing that the taste is always at its best, unlike noodles, for example, it always depends on the cook. We go very often, the service, presentation, taste is always 100%.

We ordered miso ramen because we love ramen and have eaten quite a few ramen in several restaurants in Europe and Asia. Unfortunately the soup wasn't that good. For the price I was expecting something special. It's probably better to order sushi. There is simply no good ramen in Augsburg.

Great Asian restaurant! Our appetizer was delicious, as was the sushi! The dishes are very well prepared and the service is great and very friendly. Be sure to make a reservation if you want to go to Chimico! All seats were occupied on our last visit - not without reason in such a great restaurant. 😊

It was our first time at CHIMICO when we were still living in Göppingen. A pretty impressive journey, plus the whole way home. It was an absolutely phenomenal evening in every way! We have been living in the HDH district since April 2023, which makes the journey much more relaxed 😌 However, it is often the case that a very positive impression is not necessarily repeated on the second visit. The bar is already very high, and unfortunately the element of surprise is no longer there. So it happened from time to time that after an enthusiastic first visit, we drove home a little disillusioned the second time. CHIMICO? None! We were here for the 7th time today and it is always a sensation every single time. The selection on the menu is overwhelming and the quality of the food is beyond any doubt. Everything is a little more refined, everything is seasoned with a little more finesse, every dish is presented a little more attractively. Brutally good 🥳 If you like sushi you definitely MUST try “Sashimi Moriwase”. The price of over €40 for an (admittedly decent) portion of sashimi may seem intimidating at first, but it is worth every single cent. It just doesn't get any better! I've been to Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore... The CHMICO can be measured without any problems. That's an easy 5 out of 5 stars (but only because 8 out of 5 doesn't work on Google), it doesn't get much better outside of Asia. For us, by far the best Asian in BaWü and Bavaria 🙌🏻

It was again very tasty, we had the starter for 2, not cheap, but also plenty, and the main course had some sushi and we were already full.

Was ein kulinarischer Hochgenuss! Mein Essen konnte kaum besser sein. Mein Ingwertee sensationell. Die Essen meiner Freunde ebenfalls ganz großes Kino. Dieses Restaurant, mit diesem tollen Service, mega angenehmen Ambiente, muss man einfach empfehlen Bitte vorab reservieren, ist wohl stark frequentiert. 5 Sterne absolut verdient!

Sehr ungewöhnliche und behagliche Atmosphäre und mit erlesener Einrichtung , im Gegensatz zu den meisten asiatischen Restaurants. Der Service war zurückhaltend aber dennoch sehr aufmerksam , nett und freundlich. Ebenso war das Essen ein Traum, sehr köstlich 👌👌👌. Auch wenn es nur ein Starter war, bin ich überzeugt das auch die anderen Gerichte exzellente Gaumenfreuden sind. Danke, man kann es ehrlich weiterempfehlen 👏👏👏

Super leckeres Essen,liebevoll angerichtet zu fairen Preisen. Die Speisekarte ist so gestaltet,dass jeder etwas findet, egal ob Fleisch Fisch oder Gemüse ,es gibt für jeden etwas. Auch gluten- und laktosefreie Speisen gibt es . Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und die Wartezeit auf Getränke und Essen war kurz. Parken kann man sehr gut in den beiden naheliegenden Parkhäusern. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :)

Bei diesem Asiatischem Lokal stimmt ALLES. Tolles Restaurant mit netter schneller Bedienung und sehr gutem Essen das toll präsentiert wird. Unkompliziert reserviert.... was will man mehr. Noch etwas was evtl. vielen nichts aus ausmacht und/oder gar nicht auffällt: die Akustik (und ja wir meiden mittlerweile Lokale bei denen man sich ab einer gewissen Kundenzahl anschreien muß oder man sich nicht mehr unterhalten will ) Das Lokal war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt und trotzdem war es möglich sich normal zu unterhalten. Hat halt viel mit der Einrichtung zu tun. Will sagen : tolle und entspannte Atmosphäre.
