We had dinner there yesterday. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and the atmosphere outside was fine. Inside a very nice, stylish restaurant. We would love to come back.

CHIMICO - An unbearable experience I have been a loyal customer of CHIMICO for years, have recommended it to everyone and regularly celebrate birthdays and events there. It was always my first choice even for simple meetings with friends. I often ordered takeout, especially when it was still available through Lieferando. But what happened to me now has completely destroyed my trust in this restaurant. I called to place my order as usual. I said loudly and clearly the numbers of the dishes I wanted as they were listed on the menu. However, due to a language barrier, the employee on the phone took my order completely incorrectly. It wasn't until I got home, after a 30-minute drive, that I realized I had received the wrong sushi. When I contacted the restaurant to clarify the issue, the behavior of the staff was completely unacceptable. Instead of offering a solution I was told to bring back the wrong food and pick up my real food. This is simply unreasonable for a 30-minute journey. The staff on the phone were unwilling to resolve the issue or deliver the food themselves, even though the fault was clearly theirs. No apology, no offer of restitution - nothing. At the end of the conversation, the employee simply wished me a nice evening and hung up. This is not how you treat loyal customers! This behavior is outrageous and shows that customer service is not important at CHIMICO. I am extremely disappointed and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone again. Such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior is simply unacceptable. This review emphasizes the long-time customer's disappointment and anger, highlights the restaurant's lack of customer service and unprofessional problem solving.

Unfortunately, the edamame were completely overcooked and the sushi on the large sushi plate for 3 was unfortunately not fresh or a bit tough. The restaurant inside looks nice, but the tables are so tightly packed that you have no privacy during conversations.

I have never eaten such delicious sushi in my life and I am a fan of sushi. Service perfect Food perfect Drinks perfect Note 1! 😍😍😍😍

A chic restaurant next to the theater... Very nice atmosphere inside, very friendly and attentive staff. The food came very quickly and was really tasty and lovingly prepared. You can tell that everything is fresh, the duck was really tender and freshly fried, not fried days before like many other Asian restaurants. The Japanese coffee was also very impressive and it was nice that it was offered in two versions: warm and with a cup of crushed ice to turn it into an iced coffee... The Chimico is really a recommendation!!!!

The best Pho Bo in the city! It’s very pleasing that the taste is always at its best, unlike noodles, for example, it always depends on the cook. We go very often, the service, presentation, taste is always 100%.

We ordered miso ramen because we love ramen and have eaten quite a few ramen in several restaurants in Europe and Asia. Unfortunately the soup wasn't that good. For the price I was expecting something special. It's probably better to order sushi. There is simply no good ramen in Augsburg.

This place was recommended to us, very refined, the staff very friendly and professional! We waited a bit and that's true, but considering the dishes are being prepared at the moment it's quite reasonable, the sushi is fantastic, really good guys, as for the prices, if I have to eat well then pay a little more, it deserves 5 stars

Great Asian restaurant! Our appetizer was delicious, as was the sushi! The dishes are very well prepared and the service is great and very friendly. Be sure to make a reservation if you want to go to Chimico! All seats were occupied on our last visit - not without reason in such a great restaurant. 😊

We had a wonderful evening at CHIMICO! The atmosphere was inviting and the interior was very attractively designed. Sushi, soups and salads were delicious. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. We're really looking forward to visiting again soon!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier. Das Essen war qualitativ sehr gut. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und elegant. Die Bedienung war am Anfang noch recht unfreundlich da wir einen Kinderwagen dabei hatten. Wir hatten dieses jedoch per Mail angegeben. Im großen Ganzen hat jedoch alles gepasst.

It was our first time at CHIMICO when we were still living in Göppingen. A pretty impressive journey, plus the whole way home. It was an absolutely phenomenal evening in every way! We have been living in the HDH district since April 2023, which makes the journey much more relaxed 😌 However, it is often the case that a very positive impression is not necessarily repeated on the second visit. The bar is already very high, and unfortunately the element of surprise is no longer there. So it happened from time to time that after an enthusiastic first visit, we drove home a little disillusioned the second time. CHIMICO? None! We were here for the 7th time today and it is always a sensation every single time. The selection on the menu is overwhelming and the quality of the food is beyond any doubt. Everything is a little more refined, everything is seasoned with a little more finesse, every dish is presented a little more attractively. Brutally good 🥳 If you like sushi you definitely MUST try “Sashimi Moriwase”. The price of over €40 for an (admittedly decent) portion of sashimi may seem intimidating at first, but it is worth every single cent. It just doesn't get any better! I've been to Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore... The CHMICO can be measured without any problems. That's an easy 5 out of 5 stars (but only because 8 out of 5 doesn't work on Google), it doesn't get much better outside of Asia. For us, by far the best Asian in BaWü and Bavaria 🙌🏻

Friendly service and very appealing food. There were four of us and everyone enjoyed both the starters and the main courses.

It was again very tasty, we had the starter for 2, not cheap, but also plenty, and the main course had some sushi and we were already full.

Was ein kulinarischer Hochgenuss! Mein Essen konnte kaum besser sein. Mein Ingwertee sensationell. Die Essen meiner Freunde ebenfalls ganz großes Kino. Dieses Restaurant, mit diesem tollen Service, mega angenehmen Ambiente, muss man einfach empfehlen Bitte vorab reservieren, ist wohl stark frequentiert. 5 Sterne absolut verdient!

Sehr ungewöhnliche und behagliche Atmosphäre und mit erlesener Einrichtung , im Gegensatz zu den meisten asiatischen Restaurants. Der Service war zurückhaltend aber dennoch sehr aufmerksam , nett und freundlich. Ebenso war das Essen ein Traum, sehr köstlich 👌👌👌. Auch wenn es nur ein Starter war, bin ich überzeugt das auch die anderen Gerichte exzellente Gaumenfreuden sind. Danke, man kann es ehrlich weiterempfehlen 👏👏👏

Wir waren 25 Personen.....das Essen ist gut....die Speisekarte hätte ich mir anders gewünscht..... und zwar mit japanischen und vietnamesische Gerichte getrennt

Wunderschönes Restaurant mit frischem und leckeren Essen! Das Servicepersonal ist sehr nett!

Super leckeres Essen,liebevoll angerichtet zu fairen Preisen. Die Speisekarte ist so gestaltet,dass jeder etwas findet, egal ob Fleisch Fisch oder Gemüse ,es gibt für jeden etwas. Auch gluten- und laktosefreie Speisen gibt es . Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und die Wartezeit auf Getränke und Essen war kurz. Parken kann man sehr gut in den beiden naheliegenden Parkhäusern. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :)

Bei diesem Asiatischem Lokal stimmt ALLES. Tolles Restaurant mit netter schneller Bedienung und sehr gutem Essen das toll präsentiert wird. Unkompliziert reserviert.... was will man mehr. Noch etwas was evtl. vielen nichts aus ausmacht und/oder gar nicht auffällt: die Akustik (und ja wir meiden mittlerweile Lokale bei denen man sich ab einer gewissen Kundenzahl anschreien muß oder man sich nicht mehr unterhalten will ) Das Lokal war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt und trotzdem war es möglich sich normal zu unterhalten. Hat halt viel mit der Einrichtung zu tun. Will sagen : tolle und entspannte Atmosphäre.

Wir sind spontan zu 5. am Abend ins Lokal gekommen, freundliche Begrüßung, super Service, aufmerksam und flexibel, tolle Speisen

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Der Service ist bedauerlicherweise durchwachsen. An manchen Tagen ist der Service gut, an anderen Tagen unaufmerksam. Das Essen enttäuscht bedauerlicherweise, insbesondere für den abgerufenen Preis. Wir haben es mehrmals versucht und unter dem Strich würde ich, aufgrund des Preis-Leistungsverhältnisses, keine Empfehlung aussprechen. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass das Lokal von der Einrichtung her zu den schönsten Augsburgs gehört. Schade, arbeitet doch etwas am Essen, dann gibt es definitiv eine Empfehlung.

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Essen und freundlichem Service! Der Restaurantbereich ist sehr schön eingerichtet und dekoriert. Das Essen wurde ansprechend angerichtet und war unglaublich lecker (Sushi, Sommerrollen und Ente). Der Chimico Sprizz 🍹 ist zu empfehlen. Der Preis ist zwar nicht ganz ohne aber für die Qualität und das Ambiente total angemessen. Komme gerne wieder. (Mit der Straßenbahn prima zu erreichen!)

Went for lunch over the week end and we had a good experience there... Nice mix of sushi and gyoza to start followed by a great beef pho . Friendly staff and a chilled atmosphere. 30€ pp including a glass of wine each.

Sehr Edles Ambiente, gepaart mit einem außerordentlich sehr gutem Essen! Vorspeisen Platte für 2 Personen ist ein wahres Gedicht! Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und Aufmerksam! Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder!

Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen: Qualität und Preis/Leistung „top“. Service sehr gut trotz hoher Kundenfrequenz.

Das Restaurant an sich hat ein tolles Ambiente, die Auswahl ist groß, das Essen ist gut, nicht außergewöhnlich, aber etwas anders als die restlichen asiatischen Restaurants, die es aktuell so gibt und von der Zubereitung und Qualität absolut in Ordnung. Die Preise sind relativ hoch, aber das macht nichts, wenn Ambiente, Qualität und vor allem auch Service passen. Und damit sind wir beim Problem! Seit der Eröffnung waren wir schätzungsweise 10 Mal in dem Laden. Die meisten der Kellner sind bemüht und sehr nett, jedoch arbeitet seit einigen Wochen oder 2-3 Monaten eine "neue" Kellnerin im Chimico, die - und das ist noch sehr gelinde ausgedrückt - unter aller Sau ist! Wir waren mittags dort, der Laden war fast leer, sie faltete gerade Servietten. Diese Arbeit hat sie dann auch erstmal fertig gemacht, bevor wir mit dem Satz "Sie haben Reservierung?" begrüßt wurden. Wir verneinten und wurden an einem Tisch platziert. So weit alles noch verschmerzbar. Jetzt fängt es aber an, zumindest meiner Meinung nach, unfassbar zu werden. Sie kam an den Tisch, wollte wissen, was wir zum Trinken wollen (es war Mittagspause und wir hatten es relativ eilig). Die Getränke nahm sie auf und wollte dann gehen, obwohl wir sagten, wir wüssten das Essen auch schon, da wir nicht viel Zeit haben. Sie sagte, das geht nicht, wir müssen erst warten, bis die Getränke da sind, erst dann kann sie das Essen aufnehmen. Es war, wie gesagt, nicht der erste Besuch dort, ging bisher immer, deshalb waren wir verwundert. Wir fragten dann, wieso das nicht ginge, denn es ging bisher jedes Mal. Sie sagte "geht nicht, hab ich doch gesagt!". Nach nochmaliger Frage, sagte sie "ja, ok. bitte?" und es ging doch. Meine Begleitung fragte dann, ob statt von der Mittagskarten ein gemischtes Sushi bestellen kann. Die Kellnerin antwortete pampig "nein, geht nicht!". Daraufhin wurde es mir zu bunt und ich fragte Sie, was denn nicht stimme, ob sie einen schlechten Tag hätte, und dass ihr Verhalten uns gegenüber sehr unhöflich sei. Sie sagte "nei" und entgegnete, dass ich unhöflich sei. Ich fragte, wo das Problem sei, sie entgegnete in gebrochenem Deutsch, dass ihr Chef Ihr gesagt hätte, dass das alles nicht gehe und wir sollen uns daran halten. Es hat dann endgültig gereicht, wir sind aufgestanden und gegangen, mit dem Hinweis, dass wir nicht mehr kommen werden und unser Geld dann eben anderweitig los werden. Eine Entschuldigung oder Aufklärung der Sache? - Fehlanzeige! So etwas unverschämtes und wirklich vollkommen grundlos danebenes, ist mir in noch keinem Restaurant passiert! Das Chimico hat uns als Kunden, die zudem immer ziemlich großzügig Trinkgeld gegeben hatten und teilweise mit größeren Gruppen dort essen waren, verloren. Glücklicherweise ist die Auswahl nicht all zu klein und da gibt es wirklich nettere Orte! Zwei Sterne für Ambiente und Essen, der Service ist anmaßend und unverschämt!

The Chimico Restaurant in Augsburg can only be recommended. We have a lot of Asian restaurants, but this one stands out because of the very good quality. The portions are large and taste very good. There are many traditional dishes. The soups are equally delicious. You can tell that high quality goods are used here. The service is nice and courteous. He was always on hand and the drinks came quickly. The prices are upscale, but that's fine for the quality of the food. I recommend to reserve, because the store is often very full.

Das Essen mit der Kombination vietnamesisch und japanisch hat super geschmeckt auch wenn der Preis relativ hoch angesetzt ist. Das Ambiente ist nett leider etwas eng, man bekommt alles mit was neben und hinter dir gesprochen wurde. Der Service scheint etwas gestresst zu sein.
