We arrived in Padelle yesterday evening at 9:03 pm and politely asked if we could still get something to eat. The waiter went into the kitchen to check, and two seconds later he came back to us and said the kitchen was already closed.
It's a shame, since the website says they're open until 9:30 pm. Furthermore, the waiter seemed completely shocked when we walked in, contradicting the previous information.
We still managed to get something at another Italian restaurant at 9:15 pm. This is not what one expects from a restaurant.
The most positive thing I can say about the restaurant: "I got something to eat!" The pasta was sensationally bland, and the vitello tonnato certainly won't win any awards. This is all the more annoying given that the prices are a bit above the usual range.
I ordered, please keep up the good work, it was absolutely perfect! I'll definitely order again!
Update: It was delicious as usual, but unfortunately, it was cold, completely cold. The restaurant accepted the order at 6:34 PM and it was ready at 7:00 PM, but then it wasn't delivered until another 35 minutes later (despite being very close to us). There was definitely not enough rice. When I ordered a second time, the rice was listed as two portions, but it was exactly the same amount as when I ordered just for myself.
Friendly and helpful staff
Rooms on the second floor are spacious and clean
Food from the menu is generous and delicious
Fluent communication in German and English
As a family with two children, we stayed in an apartment while passing through. It was very modern and clean. Highly recommended, even for a longer stay. The breakfast was very extensive and the selection was sufficient; we didn't miss anything. Thank you so much for the warm welcome 🌸
Cute little restaurant with good food. Unfortunately, it's very loud. The mussels were delicious, the pasta a bit bland, but the noodles were homemade.
