We spontaneously went to Da Mamma for the first time in the early evening today (Tuesday). Since we were there shortly before 6, we were lucky and were able to get a table for 3 people. It's better to reserve in advance 😉 The reception was friendly and accommodating, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. We promptly received the menus at the table and the drinks were included. The food was then picked up for drinks delivery and the side salads came to the table quickly and at the same time. Unfortunately, these Insalata Mista were a disappointment - neither quality nor quantity is appropriate for €4.50. The dressing being too acidic for us is again a matter of taste. Things got really good again with the pasta dishes 👍. Ravioli Spinaci e Ricotta, Trofie Pomodoro and Tagliolini Salmone e Spinaci were very fresh, very well portioned and absolutely worth recommending! Unfortunately, the 3 dishes did not come to the table at the same time but each with a 2-3 minute delay. This could have been timed better with 3 dishes and the restaurant only being half full at this point. 3 drinks, 3 side salads and 3 pasta dishes for just under €70 are reasonable, but unfortunately there are deductions for the salads. We'll definitely go back, but with a reservation and WITHOUT salads. The service staff definitely left us with a very good impression - keep it up 👍

When we reserved a table by phone, we were impressed by the very friendly service. The food was also top. We both had the Neckar plate. For me, the dish could have had a little more salt. And leave out the arugula in the salad. But that's just my personal taste. Everything was delicious, topped off by very friendly service. We'd love to come back.

Update: It has improved a lot now but portions are sometimes good, sometimes smaller. At the opening and for a few months afterwards, the quality of the food was unbeatably good. Even among friends, people only went to König because they had the best kebab/yuvka, pide, etc. Prices were fair compared to the region as the portions were always very sufficient and were almost 50 cents below the average in the region. If there were longer waiting times or if you came more often, you were regularly offered tea. But then something happened behind the scenes, after Corona there was an almost weekly price race upwards and the quality is constantly getting worse to this day. The point of inedibility has almost been reached! Both types of meat are cut from the spit just barely cooked, lukewarm and without any roasted aroma. Sometimes you have to be afraid that it is still raw. Tea is no longer offered and the door is always completely open so that the cool air from outside flows directly to the seats. There have also been open spots on the ceiling for about a year from which the heating company is dripping into the guest room. It's gone from 4-5 stars to a good-natured 2 stars in one or two years and there's no sign of improvement in sight... it's a shame that the store has been allowed to deteriorate so much and doesn't seem to give any thought to improving it even though hardly anyone goes there anymore compared to before. There is enough choice in Wendlingen and the other kebabs will be happy to welcome more König customers again.

Excellent food. I'd definitely go back. Despite closing time and some of the menu options being limited, she even cooked a fresh duck and delivered it to our table.

A below-average kebab. All the ingredients seemed mediocre in quality, as did the flavor. Furthermore, the waiter wasn't particularly friendly.

A few years ago this was our favorite Asian takeaway... but it has declined significantly. My meat was spoiled and flaky. When I said that, they just said it couldn't be... they didn't respond to me at all. I'm really tolerant and mistakes happen to everyone, but the reaction was sad. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend it. Unfortunately it doesn't taste good anymore...
