Traditional tavern culture at its finest, including tavern music on some days when the innkeeper plays his accordion or occasionally delights the guests with his comrades from the ragtag band. The atmosphere and the rustic interior design make you feel like you have been transported to another time. Here, long-established Rottweilers sit with their regulars, clubs and guilds among international business travelers. The limited space available (reservation recommended!) allows guests to come together and encourage interaction between guests. Excellent food from sausage salad, schnitzel to delicious salads and truffle pasta - everything your heart desires. Hospitality is very important. With all of these framework conditions, a visit becomes not just a culinary excursion, but a unique experience that allows you to experience the culture and architecture of Baden-Württemberg's oldest city in a very positive atmosphere.
Anyone who expects a classic restaurant may be disappointed; here the focus is on a convivial evening with the innkeeper. There is no menu, the drinks are priced at around 50% of the usual local prices. As an additional treat, constantly changing theater performances are offered several times a year. A restaurant for those who enjoy an authentic atmosphere, but not for gourmets or gourmands
The Leberle were fantastic. The vegetables were excellent. I think a salad can say a lot about the cuisine. You can taste that a high-quality oil and a super tasty vinegar are used. The staff was super friendly. Absolute recommendation 👌 We will definitely be back.
The Irish pub is an absolute cult pub - the perfect bar for a smoker! The atmosphere is rustic and cozy. There are Heineken, Guinness and many other beers.
There is also a dartboard - perfect for an evening with friends and family.
It used to always be a great German, home-style restaurant that we enjoyed visiting - back then it also had 5/5 stars. Unfortunately we now have to change our assessment.
The restaurant now has a new owner who has retained the German menu and added Indian dishes. We have eaten there many times and tried our favorites from before, but unfortunately we were a bit disappointed this time.
Unfortunately, the meat was tough and dry, and the schnitzel, although it was a large portion, was not entirely without tendons. The salad dressing wasn't anything special, but the fries were really good.
As always, the waitresses were extremely friendly and nice, which we really appreciated. We didn't try the Indian food, maybe it's better. Overall, we weren't really thrilled with our visit.
I can't understand the positive recessions at all. Doner kebab and yufka were very small and for 8 euros each. These are prices that are otherwise only offered in the inner cities of larger cities. The meat probably consists of a veal minced meat skewer and the sauce seems to be a ready-made salad mayonnaise (container is on the salad bar). The taste was rather lower midfield. Although there weren't many customers there, you could tell that the gentleman behind the counter was having trouble assigning orders, which meant it took longer than necessary to receive the order.
In my opinion, value for money is not at all good. Too bad!
