Those expecting a traditional pub may be disappointed; the focus here is on a convivial evening with the proprietor. There's no menu, and drinks are priced at about 50% of standard restaurant prices. As an added treat, constantly changing theater performances are offered several times a year. A restaurant for connoisseurs of an authentic atmosphere, but not for gourmets or gourmands.

We ate there for the second time today, and the food was absolutely fantastic. It's great to see that there's still a restaurant that regularly offers new dishes – highly recommended! The service is also superb; the whole experience is just perfect. We'll definitely be back.

Flöttlinstorstraße 14Der goldene Apfel ist wirklich eine sehr schöne, urige Rottweiler Traditionswirtschaft. Die Gerichte waren sehr gut zubereitet und haben uns hervorragend geschmeckt. Beim Service gibt es allerdings noch Optimierungsbedarf. Das Team wirkte an einigen Stellen noch etwas unstrukturiert. Eine gezielte Schulung der Abläufe durch die Leitung würde das Gesamterlebnis hier perfekt abrunden.
