Yesterday we were in Neckarsulm with 2 kids. The ambience was good, the staff very friendly and helpful. The idea behind it is actually very funny. The animations for the 5 courses were very funny and entertaining. However, they didn't last longer than 1.5 minutes. Of course the children had a lot of fun, but the adults ran out of steam after three courses. The courses were lavish but unfortunately no emphasis was placed on quality. 2 courses were only lukewarm. The main course was tough and the only course that was somewhat ok was the dessert. The kids also had a 5-course menu and the portions were so incredibly large that they were no longer hungry after 3 courses at the latest. Sorry, but such menus for children make no sense. In total we paid 415 euros with 2 adults and 2 children. But for the price you expect a different quality. And unfortunately I completely miss the point of such an expensive children's menu. Unfortunately not recommended.
Salad in a glass, the leaf lettuce not so fresh. A special kind of onion roast, 2 thin slices of meat that was supposed to be medium rare but was well done. You could eat it. Expensive.
The ambience is very nice.
Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is not right here at all.
The prices of the main courses are already very high. In addition, however, there are the completely exorbitant prices for the side dishes. Fries cost 7.50 euros. The portions are a bad joke.
The salads are also ridiculously tiny and sometimes cost up to 20 euros. A tiny bread basket for several people at such a high price.
The service was also a bit disappointing for us. We constantly had to call service ourselves so that something was happening.
The empty plates with leftover food stood on the table for over 20 minutes before someone took pity on clearing them away.
Prices are not surprising around Audi and Schwarz. For the average earner, however, it is completely overpriced for what it ultimately is.
The quality of our food was very mixed and sometimes very different for the same dishes.
Unfortunately, my stay at the Nuvolari restaurant last year was not satisfactory. But my visit today was once again disappointing and left me feeling like I was treated like a second-class guest.
For lunch, I looked at the three main courses on your menu but found that none of the options suited my taste. Since I had a similar problem last year, I contacted the service staff and was given an alternative, which I found to be very customer-oriented (even if the quality of the food was not satisfactory).
Today, however, my question as to whether there were other alternatives was answered with a curt “no”. Even when I asked if he was sure - especially with reference to my positive experience last year - the waiter simply responded with "We can't do that."
So I had to make do with a dish that didn't appeal to me and I ended up leaving half of it back. Not only was this disappointing, but it stands in stark contrast to the experience of another guest just a few tables away, who was given an alternative option upon request, namely a sushi platter. Why was I denied this opportunity?
The behavior and inconsistent service quality are completely inappropriate for a restaurant that claims to represent the Audi brand. Especially on a day like today, when I picked up a vehicle worth six figures, I would have expected a higher standard.
Addendum: Thanks to Mr Mann's friendly contact and forethought, a solution was subsequently found.
I went here for dinner with two colleagues. For me it's no longer a classic broom in the true sense, as there is beer, coffee and, in addition to the typical broom dishes, many other culinary dishes (curry as a daily meal). That doesn't really fit into my world of brooms or my understanding of a broom. But times are changing.
The service was very nice, quick and attentive. I ordered a butcher's platter with an additional slice of salted meat. That wasn't a problem at all. Everything great. The cabbage, liver and crackling sausage go a little further in terms of taste. Therefore only 3 out of 5 points for food.
You absolutely can't complain about the price-performance ratio. €10.70 for the slaughter plate is totally fair! I can recommend the location. It's not quite my broom world, but that's my personal idea.
Went to dinner with relatives from abroad because they wanted to try German cuisine. The portions were very sufficient and the food was great. Everyone was thrilled :-)
Quaint Italian restaurant from the old days. There is good pizza, pasta and salads, if you like it small and in the old style, this is the place for you. Good quality food, watching football is possible... Typical restaurant for a small town... The pizzeria has been around for a long time and many locals can be found here. Overall a good pub with a nice old bar :)
