The only negative point is that the salad is very bland and the finished yogurt sauce tastes...

Great in summer, relaxed atmosphere

We had a very nice hike to Bad Wimpfen. On the way there we stopped at the Waldschänke. Very tasty beer and the pizza was also very good. View of Heilbronn. Definitely worth a visit.

Really delicious pizzas with toppings from Italofood from Heilbronn. The spicy salami is simply a hit! The benches are already pretty worn, otherwise very nice here.

Were here today for a leisurely walk into the evening. The peace and quiet in the forest was just something to enjoy. Our circular route naturally led past the Waldschänke. The kids can have a lot of fun here at the end, although some newer play equipment would be great. The beer garden offers really good outdoor seating that invites you to linger. The interior is manageable, which means that if you want to be inside, a reservation is advisable. Our dogs are provided with a variety of water apples. The water for this is available in the clean toilet facilities. Then there was the paprika sausage, which I can only recommend to everyone as a small snack.

I ended up in this beer garden through a recommendation from a good friend. The Waldschänke is located outside of Obereisesheim and is somewhat hidden between the trees, but with Google Maps or after the first visit it is no problem finding this beer garden. Thanks to the two large parking spaces for cars and two-wheelers, everyone can find a place. On my first visit, I noticed the cozy atmosphere in which the rustic benches and tables radiate a cozy cosiness. I can only imagine that the many fairy lights will make it even more cozy and romantic in the evening. There is also a playground for the children on the left side. Since it is self-service here, you have to enter the little house to order, where you can also see the food and drink menu and ready to take away. The drinks are freshly prepared and can be taken away immediately. With the food you get a pager call system and as soon as it beeps, the food can be picked up. At the beginning we had an Aperol Spritz and a beer and can only say positive things about it. Both drinks tasted good. The Aperol Spritz in particular had a high alcohol content, which definitely speaks for the beer garden. For dinner we had Pizza Italia, but with extra mushrooms. I thought the pizza was delicious, but it didn't taste particularly good either. However, my companion found the amount of cheese and ham too much and would have preferred less toppings. Unfortunately, I had the misfortune to find a dark hair on my pizza and of course I have to say that this also significantly reduced my appetite and we first searched the pizzas for additional hairs. Finally, I can only say that this is a lovingly prepared beer garden where you can spend wonderful and delicious hours. I also consider the price/performance ratio to be fair and I would have given the beer garden 4 stars, but because of the hair on my pizza I have to deduct one star.

The girls at the order reception often don't have any insight and it's difficult to calculate there... otherwise a great location

The Waldschänke is very hidden on the edge of the forest. The great view of Neckarsulm and Heilbronn is somewhat obscured by the high hedge. The food (pizza) was okay, you just have to wait in line until you can order/pay. After that, with the beepers at the table, it's okay to wait until you can pick up the food.

Food was good, drinks are super cold, prices are good too. The ambience and location is “TOP”

Picturesque, large beer garden with wide wooden tables and benches with backrests, right on the edge of the forest, only accessible via a corridor path, beautiful children's playground in the shade under the trees. Delicious pizzas from the wood-fired oven for around €11, the beer for €6.80!

There is always a shady spot and a very pleasant, low-threshold way to eat outdoors, close to nature. When the wheat around it is golden yellow in summer and the corn sways in the wind, then it's forest tavern time and the ambience is perfect.

Only 3 stars for service because it is self-service. But really delicious food and a great view when the weather is nice.

The pizza was definitely better last year. The fries for the child took 20 minutes because the pizza was already cold. When this was brought up, people complained that he was alone and only used a deep fryer because he wasn't busy. I would like to have soft fries from before. Extremely unfriendly so never again. It was our first time there, despite the house being full, the ordering went quickly and everyone was very friendly, especially the lady who prepared the seafood salad, a real ray of sunshine I could have liked the seafood salad a little spicier, the pizza was great The view of the Weinsberger Valley is fantastic Unfortunately the feet of the tables are a bit wide and you have to "thread" them a bit awkwardly Thank you again

This is a really great and child-friendly beer garden. Both the outside and inside areas are very well maintained and clean. The tables and beer benches are made of solid wood. The walnut trees offer protection from the blazing sun. A children's playground is available for younger visitors. The staff is super friendly and quick. The prices are perfectly fine. What you should know before visiting is that they mainly serve pizzas. A few classics such as steak, sausages and fries are also on the menu. However, you won't find schnitzel or Maultaschen here. The pizzas are well prepared and taste delicious. The remaining dishes don't necessarily blow your mind, but they aren't bad either.

Great location, unfortunately the weather was bad. But even in the drizzle there were friendly hosts, considerate staff and good food and drinks. Hopefully next time it will be sunny and warm!

A wonderful place. Right on the edge of the forest with birdsong, children's playground, sparkling clean toilets and great staff who conjure up very good pizzas with delicious salad. Tree trunk benches and tables invite you to linger under old trees. The foresight blows you away!

It has been a good destination for cycling or walking for years. The food is highly recommended and the ambience is truly unique.

Surroundings by the forest with rustic wooden furniture...playground for children.. Trees that provide shade, but also sunny places...Pizza is quite sparsely topped. Since it's self-service, you can't rate the service... everything is well organized, a loud sound notifies you that the pizza is ready, the audience is mixed, lots of families with children... nice atmosphere...

Mega!! Great beer garden located on the edge of the forest. Especially suitable for families with children!! There are 4 swings and a large sandpit. Self-service applies to food and drinks. The pizzas are great and everything else we've had so far has tasted good too.

Essen, Service und Ambiente bestimmt sehr gut ABER…. Bei Google und Facebook steht „Geöffnet“ und wenn man dann vor der Tür steht ist das Saison Ende schon eingeleitet. Herrliches Ausflugsziel, toller Ausblick, tolles Essen.

Sehr großer Parkplatz ist vorhanden. Im Haus geht man an die Theke zum Bestellen von Essen und Trinken. Getränke bekommt man gleich mit und fürs Essen bekommt man einen Piepser der losgeht sobald das Essen fertig ist. Geschmacklich und über die Menge des Essens kann man sich nicht beschweren. Es gibt genug Sitzplätze außen und für Kinder ist ein kleiner Spielplatz dabei. Beim Essen hat man eine schöne Sicht auf Neckarsulm.

Einmal jetzt da gewesen, Salat überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen. Pizza ist okay. Lebt wahrscheinlich vom guten Ruf alter Tage. Für mich nichts besonderes. Ja und Wartezeit mitnehmen.

Netter Biergarten mit moderaten Preisen.

Die Location ist ein gutes Ziel für eine Wanderung, sich mit Freunden zu treffen oder einfach nur Pizza zu essen. Die Pizza ist super lecker. Sehr schön am Waldrand gelegen mit Spielplatz für Kinder. Freundliches Personal.

Wir sind hier gerne weil es einen tollen Ausblick bietet und für Kinder auch toll ist. Allerdings könnte man im Sommer noch ein paar Schirme aufstellen um für Schatten zu sorgen und man sollte mehr Wert auf Hygiene und Sauberkeit legen. Die letzten 2x wo wir dort waren gab es mehrfach schmutzige Gläser. Mit schmutzig meine ich keine Schlieren o.ä. sondern richtige Lippenstiftreste von der Vorgängerin. Das ist super eklig und unhygienisch im Gastrobereich auch noch.

Montagabend und super Wetter. Zwar viele Tische belegt, aber irgendwo findet man immer einen Platz. Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam. Essen: Wurstsalat, Thunfischsalat und Salamipizza gut. Fazit: Schöne Lage, Biergartenatmosphäre, gutes Essen, angenehme Preise.

Leider war der Wurstsalat total versalzen und ohne Essig. Kann ja mal passieren nach Reklamation gab es ein merkwürdiger Weise sehr sehr leckeren Wurstsalat. Der Thunfischsalat war sehr gut.

Super Ausblick, leckeres Essen, große Portionen. Immer wieder gerne.

Versalzenen nur wenig angemschten Wurstsalat gegessen. Würde umgetauscht gegen neuen . Dennoch hätte der Koch mal selbst versuchen sollen. Na ja, mal wieder versuchen .

Location und Ambiente echt richtig toll, abends hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf die Lichter der Städte in der Ferne - hier gibts nichts auszusetzen. Weniger toll war leider die Pizza. Der Belag häufte sich an manchen Stellen dreifach, an anderen Stellen war nichts. Zudem wer die Pizza fast komplett durchgeweicht und der Teig komplett nass und matschig - richtig schade einfach nur. Die Pizzabäcker arbeiten in Akkord, hier wird wohl das Problem liegen.

Dieser Biergarten mit seinem atemberaubenden Ausblick hat mich jedes Mal aufs Neue fasziniert. Der Spaziergang über die Felder, um dorthin zu gelangen, ist immer eine wunderbare Einstimmung auf ein entspanntes Erlebnis. Die Pizzas im Biergarten sind schlichtweg Wahnsinn - perfekt gebacken mit einer großzügigen Auswahl an Belägen. Egal, ob man den Ausblick genießt oder in die leckeren Pizzas beißt, dieser Ort ist definitiv ein Juwel, das ich immer wieder besuchen werde!

1 Stunde Wartezeit auf eine lauwarme Grillwurst mit Pizzabrot, (Brötchen oder Brot waren aus) und fast kalte Pommes ( völlig versalzen) nie mehr werde ich dort essen.

Schöne Location, großzügig die Anlage, prima Pizza. Aktualisierung August 23: Jetzt neue Tische und Bänke, wertet das Ganze auf. Sehr bequem 👍

Sehr schöner Ort um abends Essen zu gehen, die Kinder haben außerdem auch immer was zu tun.

Toll umgebaut und sehr lecker... Zum Glück waren wir früh da und bekamen alles sehr schnell...da es sehr voll wurde gegen später...

Sehr schöne Lokation. Genügend Plätze im Schatten wie auch in der Sonne. Wer Pizza mag ist hier an der richtigen Adresse. Preise für Trinken und Essen sind absolut in Ordnung. Parkplätze sind ebenfalls genügend da. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.
