Best pizza in Gaildorf. Friendly boss and good service.

Yesterday we were at the RÖSSLE in Gaildorf for the second time in 12 months. On our first visit, the food was delicious, the service was very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was great, see our review at the time. First of all, the ambience is still great, the service is still good, although a little less attentive than last time. But what was offered to us from the kitchen this time was (and this is objectively and soberly viewed) absolutely not okay. But first things first. As a starter we ordered grilled pepperoni. The portion is good, enough for 2 people. Unfortunately, bread is only available as a paid extra. The pepperoni were not really grilled, a bit limp, but tasted good and well seasoned (garlic, olive oil) As main courses we ordered the two * Tips of the Day *, one the roasted chicken with rice and lemon sauce, and one the moussaka. Both dishes came out of the kitchen visually good, but the taste was really bad (and I'm very sorry to have to write this). My lemon chicken literally had ZERO flavor. No salt, no pepper, no spices whatsoever. Neither the meat nor the rice, it was just terribly bland. I also looked in vain for the lemon sauce/lemon flavor. It was so bad that I had to leave the dish. The Mousakka was (unfortunately) just as bad in taste. Here too, no salt at all, no spices whatsoever, no flavor whatsoever. Normally, for the mousakka, the eggplant slices are grilled or fried in the oven with olive oil, salt and pepper. Here they were simply processed raw as an intermediate layer, so there was no roasted aroma whatsoever. The Mousakka also went back more or less untouched. It's a real shame. The atmosphere is really great, the boss and the boss/employee are very welcoming. We can't really explain the decline in the quality or taste of the food. Maybe it was just bad form in the kitchen that day. It can happen sometimes too. We'll stop by for dinner again later in the year, maybe we'll know more then...

We visited the shop yesterday, we tried 2 burgers, the cheeseburger and the Gaildorf. They had extremely fresh, tasty and well-cooked ingredients. We also got the casero croquettes and the chicken wings which also had very tasty sauces. The staff were smiling quick and willing to help and serve

Very cozy but crowded. Reservation would be an advantage. Staff very friendly. Only had something to drink, so didn't give any stars for food.

Ordered many times and it was almost always great! Overall, I enjoy ordering here and will order again and again. Always quick, tastes good, and the price is right. Update 12/29/24: Unfortunately it's getting worse and worse. Won't order anymore. It wasn't that great the last few times... then yesterday it really wasn't good. Salad ok, but pizza was half raw.

No consumption on site, only pickup behind the house. My (vegetarian) vegetable noodles tasted like fish. Aside from the fishy taste, I didn't taste anything else. There was no salt and no other spice to taste. In addition, €10.30 for a plate of pasta with some vegetables is extremely expensive, especially if it doesn't taste good. It was the first and last time for me!

Well, listen, food is delivered incorrectly, arrives cold and then demands extra money at the door even though there are different prices on the menu...
