Schloss \ Werk - Café \ Bar in Gaildorf

An experience. Every time you are there you feel very comfortable and enjoy staying there. The menu offers something for everyone. No matter whether you just want to drink something or eat properly. The atmosphere is rustic with beautiful decorations.

A great location, with a lot of attention to detail, an absolute feel-good character, the white sausage breakfast was great, I'm often in Bavaria so I can compare. Now the service is excellent except for one waitress.

Very cozy but crowded. Reservation would be an advantage. Staff very friendly. Only had something to drink, so didn't give any stars for food.

We went on a night watchman hike with the heart sports group, which was very nice, and then finished at the Schlosswerk in Essen, the service was very good and friendly Everything was great

We were drawn here because of so many good reviews. I also found the price quite appealing in advance based on the pictures of the menu. The burger now costs 4 euros more. And for 18.50 euros I think it's too expensive. Of course everything has become expensive, but charging 4 euros more per dish? The drinks then cost another 4 euros. This quickly adds up to 65 euros for 3 people. Half a teaspoon of fried onion instead of normal onion costs 80 cents extra. The service was O.K. but nothing more. Not overly good service. The portion size itself was okay. The salad is served in a small bowl that usually contains jam. Then you could leave it out. That makes just one forkful. Very disappointing in itself.

Today we spontaneously visited and were given a nice table outside without a reservation. The service was extremely nice, attentive and courteous. Our dog was immediately provided with a water bowl and treats. The food came super quickly and was very attractively prepared. The portions are generous and the taste is a delight. After our baby was stung by a wasp, we were immediately given ice and onion as first aid. A great meal with great service in a great atmosphere. We recommend and will come back! Thanks for the nice time!

Good food, great service, in the middle of Gaildorf. Highly recommended.

We were passing through and needed a break. That's when we discovered the castle on Google Maps. A really nice atmosphere. A quaint restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food is rather simple, but the whole thing is more of a bar, café and pub. You simply shouldn't expect a 5 star menu here. Everything was clean and tidy, there is a nice beer garden. All dishes are lovingly prepared and we had a lovely stay. Gladly again.

We were there once by chance, and since then it has been one of our favorite bars and we are happy to make the almost half-hour drive. No matter how busy and even in the largest establishment, you will always be warmly welcomed and you can just tell how much passion goes into it. The non-alcoholic cocktails are excellent and the snacks are simply delicious. Thank you very much to the team and keep it up

Sunday coffee and cake in the shady garden in front of the restaurant are worth stopping by. Only the street noise - motorbikes - is incredibly annoying there.

THE address in Gaildorf! I come here regularly and am thrilled every time :) Great menu, great service and great location.

Unfortunately, the food was saved. The tarte flambée was lukewarm, sparsely topped and therefore very dry. Unfortunately, the burger wasn't anything special either. The service, however, was really great!

Bistro Pub very cozy, cool atmosphere, great staff... I like the boss too... ;) Guests are always friendly... Great... that there is the Schlosswerk in Gaildorf...!‼️✅

I didn't eat that evening but it's a very nice restaurant and you immediately feel at home there

A really nice/nice bar/restaurant where you can spend cozy hours, especially in the evenings. Delicious cocktails, good food and nice service. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Der Service war super! Das Essen aber im Preis-Leisungsverhältnis als auch im Geschmack und in der Zusammenstellung unbefriedigend (Überbackene Maultaschen) für den Preis hätte ich zumindest Metzgermaultaschen erwartet.

Gemütlich, leckere Speisen und Cocktails. Leider wird man, wenn man im oberen Bereich sitzt, etwas vergessen....

Super Ort mit super-super freundlichen und aufmerksamen Bedienung! Wir gaben uns wirklich gut gefühlt!! Danke! Bestimmt kommen wir wieder vorbei.

Wir waren mit 7 Personen dort essen. Wir aßen dort Burger, Flammkuchen, Schnitzel und Pfannkuchen. Das Essen war durchweg lecker und ausreichend. Aus meiner Sicht waren die Burger Patties etwas zu dick(ca.2cm), aber geschmacklich sehr gut. Wir saßen draußen und da war es aufgrund der Hauptstraße etwas laut aber es störte nicht unsere Gespräche.

Wir saßen zu 2. am Freitag bei der Gaildorfer late night im wunderschönen, liebevoll gestalteten Schlossgraben 😊 Obwohl es sehr voll war, waren die Speisen 🍔 und die Cocktails 🍹liebevoll dekoriert und haben super lecker geschmeckt 😋 Die Bedienung war trotz des stressigen Abends immer freundlich und gut gelaunt. Immer wieder gerne! Danke für den schönen Abend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wir waren mit den Fahrrädern unterwegs. Sehr freundliches Personal. Essen war sehr lecker.

Absolut empfehlenswert, sehr ehrliches und vorallem nettes Personal. Ich war sehr zufrieden und bin sehr gerne dort.

Das Personal war freundlich. Die Toiletten waren sauber. Unser Essen hat geschmeckt. Einziges Manko war das Schnitzel es war zu klein hat nach TK Ware geschmeckt.

Wir waren zum Frühstücken da, werden gewiss wiederkommen. Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück und super Räumlichkeiten 👍

Hallo an Alle, ich bin LKW Fahrer und habe am 12.04.23 in Gaildorf übernachtet. Bin zum Essen und Trinken im Schlosswerk gestrandet. Ich habe selten so ein tolles Lokal gesehen. Eingerichtet mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Super freundliches Personal, tolle Stimmung, super Musik im irischen Stil. Dann noch das super Essen. Es lohnt sich auch mal die umfangreiche Getränkekarte durch zu stöbern. Auch die Speisekarte ist eine Wonne zu lesen. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist vollkommen in Ordnung.Auch wenn ihr mal in den Sanitär Bereich müsst, ist das auch eine Wucht. Ich hoffe bald wieder dort zu sein. Mit ganz lieben Grüßen aus dem Sauerland und macht weiter so Volker Hermanns

Wir waren Kaffee trinken saßen draußen, schön. Kaffee und Kuchen waren gut, mit sehr nettem Service. Innen sehr schön mit ganz viel kleinen Details eingerichtet. Toll.

Super fun and inventive menu with lots of choices, great drinks menu also. We enjoyed the nachos as a starter and had lots of options for dips. The Schloss Werk Flammkuchen is amazing.

Pflanzliche Milch gibt es nur mit Begründung und „ich trinke/mag keine Kuhmilch“ ist wohl nicht Grund genug - schade 🥲

Sehr nettes Personal. Die Burger sind lecker, das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis passt. Eine sehr große Auswahl an verschiedenen Getränken, von Cocktails bis Whiskys. Man sitzt sehr gemütlich!

Haben dort Geburtstag gefeiert, nettes Ambiente, freundliche Bedienung. Essen war super lecker, hatten quer durch die Speisekarte probiert, und waren mit allem zufrieden. Portionsgröße ist super, nicht zu viel und nicht zu wenig. Empfehlenswert 👍

Das Kaffee hat leider an den wichtigsten Tagen in der Woche seine Ruhetage , nämlich Samstag und Sonntag🦧

Alles super top.... Bedienungen müssen noch viel lernen...wenn das Glas leer ist kann man auch ne Stunde warten und niemand fragt ob man noch eins will...sonst alles spitze

Tolles Ambiente. Frühstück war sehr lecker. Service war sehr gut. Man fühlt sich wohl.

Urig, Wohlfühlatmosphäre, klasse Essen, könnte mehr vegetarische Alternativen geben, gute Auswahl an alkoholfreien Cocktails, werden jetzt gerne öfter kommen...

Zamówiłem Texas Pfanne. Bardziej to był jednak Meksyk gdyż danie smakowało jak chili con carne. Sympatyczna Pani z obsługi trochę się gubiła. Jednakże atmosfera miejsca jak i sam wystrój powodują że te drobne niedociągnięcia nie zniechęcają do ponownego odwiedzenia tego miejsca. Wręcz przeciwnie, w menu jest więcej dań do spróbowania, lokalne piwo jest rewelacyjne a klimat niepowtarzalny. Jak będę miał możliwość na pewno jeszcze nie raz odwiedzę to miejsce.
