A few times a year I can't pass by... and then I have to have the "Curry Special with Fries." Tastes as expected :-) to good... I don't think I've ever been disappointed. The service is always impeccable, and the price is reasonable. Unfortunately, the sausages don't indicate the origin... unfortunately, it won't be from the nearby BESH (suggestion!!). What's really annoying is the smoky smell... just because there are plastic sheets instead of walls (only open in summer), it doesn't make any difference. Get out quickly after you've finished your sausage, otherwise you'll have to throw your clothes straight into the laundry bin. Absolutely NOT recommended with children. Addendum to the owner's response: I don't understand the negative tone, given the pretty decent reviews... and if you're doing such a great job with your sausage and meat products, why don't you advertise them? I'd come more often if I knew the stuff wasn't from Metro or something similar!! I also mentioned the price as a positive, saying it was okay... The smoke is still awful, and you could even split it up outside... but the boss smokes himself, right?

Currywurst with fries isn't recommended for my taste. The fries were good, but the currywurst was NOT APPETIZING. The sausage was cold rather than hot, undercooked, and mushy, and the taste was also "odd."

Certainly not a gourmet temple, but the pump doesn't claim to be one either. On the plus side: the food is delicious, the portions are generous, the service is super friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, I somehow have a knack for always driving through Gaildorf on its day off. That makes me all the more happy when it's open, because I always give it a try. And I would definitely recommend that to the interested reader!

We arrived 1.5 hours before closing time. Unfortunately, there was no food left because the kitchen was already closed. We just ordered a drink. Then we sat there for 40 minutes without any food. The waitress came by several times to serve other guests who had arrived later than us. Even as we were leaving, the waitress didn't notice that our drinks had been completely forgotten. I would have understood if it had been very busy. It was the first and last time we were there.

A must for every motorcyclist or trike rider. After winding country roads, the restaurant is the perfect place to stop for a break. An ideal place to chat with like-minded people, unwind, and enjoy one of their delicious burgers... What more could you want?

The curry special with fries was good as always. The service was also as usual, attentive and on the ball.

For years, it's been a pleasure to stop off here, a stopover on a motorcycle tour. Always nice. Thank you for being there.

Quite "rustic." Still, there's something on the menu for everyone. Update 8/24: I desperately needed schnitzel with fries. There was a tap nearby. Not much business. The discrepancy between the seat and table height was striking. I felt like a dwarf sitting there. 😉 I ordered my schnitzel from the busy waitress. Fries - quite decent Salad - okay Schnitzel - very thin, 1/3 breading, 1/3 meat, 1/3 breading, unfortunately dry and overcooked, the knife was hard to get through, and so were my teeth. But I was hungry. Conclusion: This time the chef was having a bad day or the material was old. Too bad. Note to the owner: Don't beat around the bush. At 1.75m tall, a booster seat shouldn't be necessary. I'd happily forgo a repeat.

I was sick at home with my children, and my husband wanted to bring us food. However, apparently, you're only allowed to eat the food there. It's a shame.

I saw on the internet that there was shish kebab so I stopped straight away. Service top. Portion size was great and the sauce was OK too. However, the meat was absolutely dry and completely tasteless. I used to go there often and the food was always great. Too bad

Since this year, the Zapfe has also been serving shish kebab. Since I like meat on a skewer, I took a shish kebab with sauce and a roll with me on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025. I can only say good things about it. I can only recommend it. The next time I visit, which is as certain as the amen in church, I will treat myself to a shish kebab again. And this time with French fries on the side. I then have a question for them young and very loving restaurateurs. Are all your skewers that big and do they taste so delicious? We were there in June for my husband's birthday and everything was delicious. We were served in a friendly manner and at times using the app, even though there was a lot going on with the European Championships. The food came quickly and the price was just right. Gladly again!

It's been a great biker meeting place for a long time. .. for motorcycles, cyclists and families.. Delicious food such as curry specials.. Hmmm, that tastes good👍 Just made the first trip there today🏍️🏍️ the season is finally starting again.. 👍

As a former Gaildorf resident, I often come here for lunch when I'm repairing dents and hail damage. Everything here tastes great, especially the currywurst and the special curry! Praise to the boss 👌

Were there after hiking. Very nice and quick service. Drinks and food came quickly and tasted very good. The price for 1x drink, 1x coffee and 2x double currywurst is €21, you can't complain. Ambience: we weren't inside, just outside. Right on the street. Of course it could be quieter but you don't expect that here or it's wrong.

We were there today for the first time since the change of ownership. In my opinion the food was much better than the previous one!! My cheeseburger was delicious and so were the fries. Even though it was packed, the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

It's a fast food snack bar and that's exactly what it does. Spacious inside, clean and a great large terrace. Friendly and quick service. Actually more than you would expect from a normal snack bar.

You have to like the location, but exactly what I expected. Nice selection of "fast food" dishes and we enjoyed it.

Currywurst Spezial sehr gut Sause war heiß und gut - wenn man aber nur Currywurst bestellt bekommt man statt heiße Sauce kaltes Ketschup drauf geknallt, ohne vorher zu fragen! Die gehen davon aus dass jeder erst mal halbe Stunde Angebote studiert … statt bei Bestellung “Currywurst” zu fragen: “wie, mit Ketschup oder heißer Currysauce ?”

Unglaublich gutes Essen für kleinen Preis! Hier wird man satt, ohne über den Tisch gezogen zu zu werden. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und schauen ständig nach dem Wohl der Kundschaft. Einziges kleines Manko ist die Lage direkt an der B298. Gehört natürlich zur Zapfsäule dazu, dass man es von der Straße aus sieht, aber es ist leider auch viel Verkehr unterwegs, vor allem liegt es genau am Ortsende, an dem alle Vollgas rausbeschleunigen. Wer sich aber daran stört, kann sich vom Biergarten nach innen setzen.

Komme des öfteren vorbei wenn ich in der Gegend bin mit Motorrad und es ist immer einen Stop wert.

Eine schlechtere Wahl(😉) für essen gschwind zwischendrin gibt es in dieser Preisklasse leider nicht! Selbst bei Partys fast unschlagbar!! Spanferkel super zubereit Kartoffelsalat perfekt Kraut auf den Punkt!! Was will man mehr!!

Eine Currywurst bestellt und eine Bratwurst mit kaltem Ketchup bekommen. Das wurde hier bereits öfters erwähnt. Wer ne Currywurst mit warmer Currysauce haben will, muss Currywurst spezial bestellen. Leider wird man von der Bedienung auf diesen feinen Unterschied nicht hingewiesen. Ansonsten nettes Ambiente.

Echt gutes Essen, wenn man Fastfood mag, nichts für die schlanke Linie aber schmeckt alles sehr gut!Der Service ist hervorragend, auch wenn viel los ist, ist das Personal sehr aufmerksam, Nett und erfüllt die Wünsche des Gastes so schnell es geht. Das Ambiente ist im Außenbereich, wenn man die daneben "hochverkehrslastige" Hauptstraße außen vor lässt, gemütlich zwanglos und sehr entspannt. Zu trinken gibt es sehr gute Preisgünstige Cocktails, ohne Alkohol aber auch mit % wenn man das wünscht, sowie der üblichen Auswahl an Getränken im Gastrogewerbe. Fühle mich sehr wohl hier im Außenbereich, der auch in der Übergangszeit gut geschützt vor den schwankenden Temperaturen in besagter Übergangszeit zum gemütlichen Verweilen einlädt.

Immer wieder für nen Stop mit dem Moped gut..... Essen und Trinken zu akzeptablen Preisen und sehr nette Bedienungen.

Wir sind mit dem Motorrad unterwegs sind machen wir da immer einen Einkehr Schwung , Guter Parkplatz, schön zu sitzen , hier stimmt noch das Preis/Leistung Gefüge , Currywurst mit Pommes geht immer und schmeckt prima. Ambiente ist mega....Das der Gyrosteller war sehr lecker, Chickennuggets waren gut aber was nicht geht in so einem Laden. Currywurst mit Ketshup und Currypulver...hier muss eine eigene Currysoße Pflicht sein....

Cooler Treff für Motorradfahrer, aber auch als normaler Halt auf der Durchfahrt. Gutes Imbiss-Essen schneller Service und Küche. Werde in Zukunft öfters dort Halt machen.
