Doner kebab is good, but the way some people treat you here is outrageous. First a really nice man, and then this woman, no, I found it shameful. It's a shame, but I won't recommend it.
It was the first time here and for me it was the best pizza I've had in a long time!
Great taste!!!
Ambience small but nice 😊 and cozy.
We would love to come back.
We were in the apartment for about 3 days, it was just really, really nice to be here, everything was here, everything was comfortable, wide, comfortable beds
The pizzas are properly topped...e.g. You don't have to look for prawns or ham like in many pizzerias, the service staff are very friendly and accommodating... one of the few places where you can still get good, fresh food
We have been getting the kebab here for years and have always been very satisfied. The food tastes very tasty and the portions are nice and big. The staff is always friendly and on the ball. Thanks to the entire team.
This Georgian restaurant simply deserves a 5-star rating. I rarely write reviews, but it was so delicious and a culinary experience that I "had" to write a review 🙂
We were here with the family and wanted to try something new. Since we didn't know Georgian cuisine and the location of the Stadtmühle is very close to nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we decided on the Stadtmühle.
The ambience was great and stylish; completely to my taste as I love red and warm colors.
The service was excellent and attentive, especially due to the longer waiting times (1.5 hours), which were more than compensated for by the free greetings from the kitchen, the service and, last but not least, the incredibly good food. We didn't mind the wait. Especially since I know from my work in Freiburg in the catering industry (kitchen) that sometimes it can just take a while. Especially when everything is homemade and the demand is high. It doesn't always have to be quick, good food takes time. I can understand that, as I said, especially since I know the catering industry and there can be several factors that make it take longer. To quote the classic film "Some Like It Hot": "It's not how long you wait, but who (or what) you're waiting for."
And in the spirit of this restaurant, we waited and were happy to wait for Georgian delicacies. I would like to highlight the best lamb I have eaten in my life. And as a foodie, I ate a lot of lamb :)
We'll definitely be back 😊
This restaurant also inspired me to get more into Georgian cuisine and try some of it at home.
Me and my family wish the family business all the best and love. And once again warm regards to the kitchen and the chef, who came personally towards the end to inquire about our well-being. Absolutely excellent service!
Kind regards and see you soon,
Sebastian
It's a shame, you could make something out of it but... Cold: eating on an uncomfortable winter day in a winter jacket wasn't particularly pleasant. Soup and lamb in the pan were really good, but meat in the kebab plate was dry like chips, my wife couldn't eat it. Second round of tea was probably served in the same cups that the waitress had previously taken.
The ambience is really run down and urgently needs renovation.
It used to be a really good Turkish restaurant, but now it's no longer like: order, pick up and leave quickly. But you can also do that with the competition.
