Wir waren heute zu zweit hier essen und sind rundum begeistert. Das Essen war hervorragend – alles war frisch, sehr lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Die Wartezeit war angenehm kurz und der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich.☺️ Auch die Cocktails waren richtig lecker und haben den Abend perfekt abgerundet.🔝 Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ebenfalls top. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die die georgische Küche genießen möchten! 👏🏼

Khachapuri probiert, leider hat mit dem richtigen georgischen Khachapuri nichts zu tun. Abgesehen davon dass ich telefonisch bestellt habe, habe ich beim abholen noch weitere 20 Minutenwarten müssen. Ich würde 2 Chance geben, aber ganz vorsichtig.

Mega, war nur noch perfekt 🤩 vom Service bis zum Nachtisch. Kommen wieder.

Lauschig unter Kastanienbäumen sitzend genießen wir hier gebratene Champions mit frischem Koriander und Granatapfel dazu frisches warmes Brot. Danach Schaschlik mit georgischem Tomaten Knoblauch Dip. Passend dazu georgischer Weißwein, einmal fast wie ein Portwein, der zweite erinnerte mich an Rezina. Zum Schluss eine fantastische Blätterteigsahnetorte und zwei Absacker „Peachbellini“ aus Haus. Ein perfekter Feierabend!

Eine wirklich schöne Location mit einem schattigen Garten. Innen sehr einladend und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Herzliche und freundliche Gastgeber. Interessante Karte mit vielen georgischen Gerichten. War uns heute zur Mittagszeit zu heiß um zu Essen, deshalb nur jeder ein Russ und eine unverschämt leckere Leckerei: Napoleon - ein Blätterteigspezialität mit herrlicher Vanillecreme.

Spontan nach einer Location gesucht in ruhiger Lage bei welcher man das tolle Wetter genießen konnte. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend mit sehr leckeren Gerichten und werden defintiv wieder kommen sobald wir in Balingen sind.

Sehr leckere georgische Spezialitäten, vor allem die Teigtaschen. Die Cocktails sind auch sehr zu empfehlen. Die Kuchen sind sehr mächtig und lecker, am besten zu zweit genießen.

Das Restaurant hat einen ruhigen und netten Garten mit einem riesigen, schattenspendenden Walnussbaum. Das georgische Essen überzeugt sowohl geschmacklich als auch optisch.

Sehr leckeres Essen, freundliches Personal.

Erstes Mal georgisches Essen ausprobiert und begeistert worden. Nach den vielen schönen Bildern in Insta haben wir es endlich geschafft das Naturfeundehaus zu besuchen. Wir waren zu fünft und ohne Ahnung, der sehr freundliche Service hat uns die verschiedenen Gerichte geduldig erklärt und wir haben mal wild bestellt. Also es war alles sehr lecker obwohl zum Teil außergewöhnlich, wie zB die Brombeerensosse zum Hähnchen, aber einfach genial! 🤩 Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ein schönes Restaurant außerhalb von Balingen. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und helfen bei der Auswahl der Speisen, sowie traditionelle Gebräuche der georgischen Küche. Für jemand wie mich, den sowas sehr interessiert war begeistert die Bräuche und Kultur darüber zu hören und voll und ganz sich darauf einzulassen. Das Essen war wirklich toll! Schön angerichtet, geschmacklich auf den Punkt und erlebt durch Hinweise der Bedienung ein schönes Erlebnis. Auch ein Gespräch mit den Chef des Hauses, den wir zufällig antrafen, der viel erklärt wie die Gerichte sich zusammenstellen und Hintergründe der traditioneller Küche rundet das ganze ab! Ich komme sehr gerne wieder und empfehle es von Herzen weiter!

Das Essen ist einfach nur bumm Mega,ich liebe die Wallnuss Soße die perfekt zu rot Wein passt ,die desers mit Espresso sind ein Muß und bei 30€ ist Mann gut dabei und ist Dan aber auch voll satt 😊 Hir Muss jeder hin der Mall was haben weil was nicht Pasta Pizza ist ich kann nur sagen Mega 👍👍👍👍👍

Ich war heute mit meinem Partner in der Stadtmühle essen, es war unglaublich lecker, aromatisch und wir wurden pappsatt! Kann ich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und wir werden definitiv wieder kommen, um noch mehr Gerichte von der Speisekarte zu probieren! Service war auch richtig super, wir haben die Gerichte erklärt bekommen und auch wie man beispielsweise die Teigtaschen am besten isst, um die Brühe nicht zu verwenden. Herzlichen Dank für das geile Essen!

Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, und die Bedienung fragt mehrfach nach, ob man Hilfe bei der Auswahl der Gerichte braucht. Wenn man nach einem Rat fragt, bekommt man stets eine ausführliche und liebevolle Erklärung. Und das Essen – einfach großartig! Jedes Gericht war geschmacklich auf den Punkt, perfekt gewürzt, und man merkt, dass hier mit viel Liebe und Herz gekocht wird. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ich komme zwar nicht von hier, aber wegen euch fahre ich auch gerne über eine Stunde😍 Vor ein paar Tagen durfte ich wieder in den Genuss der leckeren und mit gaaaanz viel Liebe zubereiteten Gerichte kommen 🤤 Mein Tipp: unbedingt den georgischen Tisch ansprechen und Gerichte miteinander teilen! Wir waren zu fünft und haben das Khachapuri Imeruli geteilt, die Mixplatte mit den Gemüsebällchen, Schaschlik, Khinkali und das halbe Hähnchen in der Knoblauchsahnesoße. Den Geschmack vom Essen hab ich heute immer noch im Mund, einfach nur lecker 🤤 Zum Service: sehr aufmerksam, authentisch und vor allem sehr freundlich obwohl viel los war. Die Weinberatung war sehr gut und es wird einem erklärt, wie man etwas am besten essen sollte oder was man dazu kombinieren kann (Beispiel Khinkali). Ambiente ist auch seeehr angenehm, authentisch eingerichtet mit vielen georgischen Details. Man kann sich super unterhalten und seinen Besuch genießen. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch! 😍

Sämtliche Teilnehmer waren vom Ambiente des Naturfreundehaus Stadtmühle in Balingen begeistert. Auch die dort vorgefundene georgische Küche mit den insoweit angebotenen Speisen wurde sehr gelobt. Hervorzuheben möchten wir auch den netten und zuvorkommenden Service sowie die prompte Bedienung und die hier gezeigte Aufmerksamkeit hinsichtlich der Wünsche der Gäste. Wir würden jederzeit Ihre Lokalität weiter empfehlen. An dieser Stelle dürfen wir uns als Gruppenleiter nochmals bei Ihnen bedanken.

Ein unvergesslicher Abend! Köstliche georgische Gerichte, eine unglaublich warme und gemütliche Atmosphäre und vor allem ein herzlicher Empfang. Die Inhaber und das Personal sind so herzlich und aufmerksam, dass man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Ich kann das Restaurant jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der echte georgische Gastfreundschaft und Geschmack erleben möchte.

Wow - ehrlich einfach nur perfekt! Ich war jetzt schon in echt vielen georgischen Restaurants in und außerhalb Deutschlands und das war wirklich von der Gesamtkombi (Essen/Service/Ambiente) ungeschlagen die Nr.1 Das Personal gibt sich so viel Mühe und steckt sehr viel Mühe darin, dass sich jeder wohlfühlen und willkommen fühlen kann. Man spürt förmlich die georgische Gastfreundschaft, die ich mir in der Form auf jeden Fall wünsche, wenn es im Sommer für mich das erste Mal nach Georgien geht :) Zum Essen gab es Mchadi mit Adjika & Chatschapuri Adjaruli, naja, erster Satz oben beschreibt es ganz gut. Ich kann jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen, hier essen zu gehen, egal ob vertraut mit der georgischen Küche oder nicht, hier wird jeder fündig, zufrieden und satt.

Parklätze sind reichlich direkt davor vorhanden und gratis. Eingang ist Rohlstuhlgerecht und ein Behinderten gerechtes WC gibt es auch. Wir waren zu zweit spontan und ohne Reservierung am Samstag abend in dem Restaurant. Obwohl es komplett voll war, durften wir in der Lounge Platz nehmen und auf einen freien Platz warten. Wir wurden sehr höfflich und zuvorkommend behandelt. Wir haben uns erstmal durch die georgischen Limonaden probiert (Birne sehr empfehlenswert). Auf das Essen mussten wir sehr lange warten, wurden aber mit einem reichhaltigen amuse bouche vertröstet. Das Essen selbst ist sehr Lecker und voll empfehlenswert. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen höfflich, hat uns vorab alles erklärt und auf alle unsere Wünsche wurde anstandslos eingegangen. Die Preise die man für diese hervorragende Qualität bezahlt sind perfekt kalkuliert. Bitte bleibt so 👍🏻😊

Das Essen war wirklich lecker und qualitativ gut, geschmacklich gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Leider mussten wir jedoch fast zwei Stunden auf unser Essen warten. während andere, die später kamen vor uns etwas auf dem Teller hatten...Durch die lange Wartezeit war der Hunger am Ende schon fast verschwunden. Zudem mussten wir das Essen schließlich selbst einpacken, während andere Gäste ihr Essen bereits verpackt bekommen haben. Das war etwas enttäuschend und hat den ansonsten guten Eindruck leider getrübt.

Absolute empfehlung! Essen ist mega gut und mal was anderes und der service ist auch top!

Wir haben die georgische Küche schon lange vermisst und waren total begeistert! Es war köstlich und die Atmosphäre war toll, aber es empfiehlt sich, vorher einen Tisch zu reservieren. Der Service war exzellent. Trotz des Andrangs und einer kurzen Wartezeit waren alle zufrieden. ☺️😌

Sehr schönes Restaurant georgischer Küche. Hier wird man beim bestellen beraten freundlich begrüßt und fühlt sich direkt wohl. Durch die sehr schön eingerichteten Gastraum wird man direkt herzlich empfangen. Die Gerichte waren sehr lecker und es war nichts zu stark gewürzt für den deutschen Gaumen. Personal war sogar über Weihnachten ausreichen vorhaben und lieferten eine super netten und mehr als ausreichenden Service ab. Nachtisch ist hier auch sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir hatten einen sehr gelungenen Abend im georgischen Restaurant. Die Bedienung war ausgesprochen nett und zuvorkommend. Alle Gerichte wurden ausführlich erklärt, und die Empfehlungen waren sehr passend. Das Ambiente ist schön dekoriert und insgesamt stimmig. Allerdings könnten die Tische hochwertiger gedeckt werden, zum Beispiel mit einfachen Stofftischdecken. Die verwendeten günstigen Papierservietten passen nicht ganz zu dem Anspruch eines Restaurants dieser Art. Die Speisen waren typisch georgisch und sehr gut gewürzt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Khachapuri „Adjaruli“, das hervorragend gelungen ist und absolut empfehlenswert. Auch die Khinkali waren sehr saftig mit einer guten Füllung. Wer Kreuzkümmel mag, sollte diese unbedingt probieren. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner und gelungener Abend mit kleinen Verbesserungspunkten im Detail. Empfehlenswert!

Mega leckeres Essen. Wer Käse liebt ist hier richtig, natürlich gibt es auch Schaschlick mega lecker, die Portionen richtig groß. Kommen auf jeden fall nochmal.

Since it's foreign cuisine, a menu with pictures (or a digital one) would be helpful. The food tasted good and was attractively presented.

The restaurant is located a bit off the beaten path in a quiet location and is beautifully decorated. You're greeted warmly as soon as you enter – the hospitality and ambiance are a big plus. We arrived right at opening time, which might explain why it was a little chilly at our table. The menu is very well explained, and you can also get a good impression of the dishes from their Instagram page. Food and drinks arrived quickly, the selection is exceptional, and the food is delicious. The khinkali could have been presented with a bit more care, and the appetizers could have used a touch more seasoning. All in all, it was a very pleasant evening with good food – a bit pricey and lacking that certain something extra, but still highly recommended.

The Georgian food was excellent; every dish was incredibly delicious and authentic. The portions were generous, so you definitely won't leave satisfied. The friendly and attentive staff deserves special mention, making the stay very pleasant. Overall, a very good experience that I can absolutely recommend!

Yesterday, I went to the Naturfreundehaus Stadtmühle in Balingen with friends – and what can I say? It was an absolutely perfect evening! From the very first minute, we felt warmly welcomed. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. We sampled various Georgian specialties: The appetizers were a delight and beautifully presented, and the main course – especially the lamb – was one of the best I've ever eaten. The service was attentive and friendly, and all the staff were very courteous. We particularly enjoyed the authentic atmosphere: You can immediately tell how much passion and love for tradition goes into the cooking. We will definitely be back – highly recommended! Many thanks to the whole team for this wonderful evening. 🙏

Delicious food, large portions at fair prices. The service was especially great – very polite and attentive. However, a glass of wine was rather expensive.

Unfortunately, my visit to this Georgian restaurant was disappointing. The food wasn't surprisingly tasty, but it was far too heavily spiced, resulting in a poor balance of flavors. I found the value for money particularly disappointing. The portions were relatively small and very expensive, especially considering that pasta is relatively inexpensive to produce. The service also left a negative impression. There was a complete lack of friendliness; not a single smile, and instead, everything felt tense and unpleasant. I simply didn't feel comfortable as a guest. In my opinion, good service should include humor, warmth, and an open demeanor, not a bitter expression. The only positive aspect was the decor, where it was clear that some effort had been made. Unfortunately, this couldn't compensate for the overall disappointing experience. The visit did not meet my expectations.

Very friendly team. Portion sizes are excellent. The seating isn't too cramped, so you can only hear the next table. I highly recommend it.

The food was outstanding – fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. The restaurant itself is very cozy, making you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. It's especially nice that it's a family-run business, which is immediately apparent in the warm, personal atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and they explained everything very well. As a special treat, we were even given a bottle of wine for our birthdays – a truly thoughtful gesture that made our visit even more memorable. A fantastic experience all around – highly recommended!

We ordered Georgian food and waited so long we almost started making khachapuri ourselves in the kitchen. When the food finally arrived, it was okay—about as okay as lukewarm tap water: inoffensive, but not exactly mind-blowing either. Portions? More like "snacks for dwarves." For the price, we expected at least one dish to have a bit of a "BAM!" effect. Instead, we got more of a timid "pff." Three stars because we're polite. And because we hope our food wasn't stuck in traffic in Georgia.

The food was very good, but the price/performance ratio wasn't right. We left the table hungry. We had to order fries separately once, as they weren't included, even though the online menu listed fries/fried potatoes. If that's not the case, the online menu should be updated, not just the one in the restaurant! The restaurant is very clean, and we received excellent, friendly, and attentive service. There had been a wedding shortly before, and afterwards, tables and chairs were moved around, which was very disruptive and noisy during our meal. Despite everything... the Georgian food was exceptionally good in terms of taste and ambiance.

The location is beautiful, and there's plenty of parking. The hall was completely packed, and it was a party with a lot of people, so it was quite loud. For those sensitive to noise, I might recommend trying it during the week. The food was truly delicious. We'll be back and bringing friends (;)

Great food, would love to come back again

We tried Georgian cuisine for the first time based on a recommendation. The food was absolutely delicious; we were truly impressed. The waiters, who explained everything to us and recommended a few things, were super friendly; we felt very comfortable. The restaurant is also beautifully decorated, with traditional pictures, for example. I thought the fairy lights added a lovely ambiance. Unfortunately, we're deducting one star because we waited a really long time to pay, as the waitress stood at a table forever talking.

Excellent Georgian specialties.

We went to the Stadtmühle with our family and had made a reservation. The food was incredibly delicious, but I found some of it a bit overpriced for the portion size. For example, the small Georgian salad plate was really very small, and the small appetizer plate (various dips) was also a bit small (especially the bread was missing). I had kebab (approx. €22), which only included one lavash, two skewers of minced meat, and sauce, with no other side dish or a second lavash. I found that a bit weak. The service was okay, but we would have liked a bit more proactivity and friendliness. The decor was okay, it was cozy, but the front garden (beer garden) and the path to the restaurant were a bit run down. What I also found disappointing was that some of the food was served on plastic plates (Georgian salad plate).

To eat well, but definitely not to let the kids down. Wonderful, personalized service. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is gems. I love it! First time here, but definitely not the last. Wonderful, helpful staff. Very tasty food. Cozy atmosphere. I recommend visiting!

The food was delicious. But we wanted khinkali, but unfortunately, we learned that they had to call two days in advance to order. They're made fresh the morning beforehand. Those who go should be aware of this. However, we had both the Khachapuri Tbilisi and the Schaschlik. The shashlik was very good, and the garlic was noticeable. But it didn't overpower the lamb. The potatoes on the side were also delicious. The Khachapuri was too much for one person. It could easily feed two. It was made with puff pastry and delicious cheeses. Overall, it was a good choice for our palate. The wines were a bit pricey. Parking is available. The service was only slow and crowded. I found the prices reasonable considering the delicious food.

Everything except the shashlik was great! Well, it's your own fault—who would eat shashlik with all that variety? Good, fast service. Terrace—right in the middle of nature! Tell me, are you already harvesting walnuts from those giant trees that offer such pleasant shade?

Today we were with friends in this restaurant. The food was very tasty, we can only thank the chef for his work. Khachapuri 10 out of 10. The girls who served us did not pay much attention to our table. We asked to bring a glass and ice twice. No one brought anything. We asked twice to bring the bill and waited 15 minutes to pay. A very nice and cozy place. I can only recommend the food.

About a year ago, I stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant by chance and have eaten here several times since then, and each time I've been simply amazed by the Georgian cuisine. The dishes are incredibly varied (on my last visit, there were even a few new items on the menu) and very well seasoned. While this isn't the cheapest restaurant, the portions are quite large, and the quality of the food justifies every cent. The Georgian wines are also (according to my companion) of good quality and good taste. Since the restaurant is very large and has a lovely outdoor area, you can almost always find a seat. The ambiance is also very pleasant and invites you to linger. The service is friendly, and each dish on the menu usually comes with a brief explanation of how it's traditionally eaten, what sauces and drinks go with it, etc. You can definitely feel the love for Georgian cuisine with every visit. Definitely a well-deserved five stars :)

We ordered two portions of khinkali and were a little disappointed, a couple of pieces had undercooked meat and the dough was full of holes, and that's not how it should be... The cake was a bit sweet, not very soaked and didn't melt in your mouth, as advertised))

We had dinner at the Stadtmühle last week. What can I say? From the ambiance to the service, with all the explanations about the food, to the meal itself, everything was top-notch. Truly something different, a culinary journey. We'll definitely be back 😀

Overall it was great. We sat outside, but I checked inside and it looked very nice. Friendly service even if they were a little short on staff. They have a very special menu, lots of interesting dishes. As hors d'oeuvres I had the oven baked mushrooms with cheese on top and they were very good. I had the 1/2 baked chicken with garlic sauce for my main meal. The sauce was one of the best I've ever had. The chicken was a little dry and I think the meal would be better with chicken breasts, but still very good. The portions were well worth the price.

It was our first time eating Georgian food and we were really excited about the menu. As a starter there were mushrooms gratinated with cheese, which tasted excellent. For the main course we chose shish kebab with fries and extra sauce as well as lamb with grilled vegetables in a clay pot. Given the high prices quoted, we expected reasonable portions. However, not with small plates and correspondingly small portions. There were also extra sauces in small bowls. One was advertised as spicy, but was very mild. With the other sauce we expected a fruity-sweet sauce, which turned out to be extremely sour. The waiting time until the food was served was about an hour. Very good advice regarding wine selection :)

It was my first time there and based on the high reviews I expected more. The cheese-filled "Georgian flatbread" with "Georgian salad" was nothing special. My friend had grilled vegetables, a proud price for 15 euros with two corn cakes. At my house, this is a quick dinner worth 5 euros for the whole family. What's still annoying are the flashing lights from the fairy lights. I can't comment on the meat dishes because I don't eat meat.

We were thrilled! The Georgian cuisine was incredibly delicious - every dish full of flavor and prepared with a lot of love. The staff was super friendly and attentive. You feel completely comfortable. Highly recommended – we will definitely come back and have already recommended the restaurant to others!

We ate at Stadtmühle on March 8th and were very happy that there was Georgian cuisine nearby, as we are big fans of it. We visit a Georgian restaurant every chance we get, especially on trips or trips. That's why we have already had many comparison options. We found the ambience to be okay, but there is certainly still room for improvement when it comes to the Georgian atmosphere. Staff very friendly and accommodating. On the occasion of International Women's Day we each received a glass of champagne and orange juice. That was really very nice and attentive. Big praise for that. Now unfortunately comes the big but. We ordered a charcho, 2 x khinkali, 1 Georgian salad with choice nut sauce and naggers with fries for our daughter. Charcho was good, but so hot that it was hard to eat. That's why the soup hadn't been finished yet when the Khinkalis arrived. And that was really a big disappointment. The dough was way too thick, the filling was way too salty, and the Koreander, which is actually the flavor of this dish, was completely missing. Really, really, really sad. This dish in particular was the main reason for our visit. Another thing about the salad - the walnut sauce, you really didn't taste any of it, as if it wasn't there at all. When we asked, they said she would be there. I'm sorry, but either you don't add enough of it or the recipe is wrong. Ironically, fries with nuggets tasted best. Too bad. We were so happy that there was finally a Georgian restaurant nearby, but if the food doesn't taste good, unfortunately it won't be a long-term relationship.

The restaurant can be recommended, there is still a bit of room for improvement, if I were to give a school grade the restaurant would be a B+.
