If you want something special, definitely go. The location is absolutely amazing for Balingen. Mega terrace on the 4th floor. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there. It was just great.

I only ever ordered drinks, so I can't write anything about the food. The bartenders are always friendly. Good design, good music, good service.

Extremely beautiful and stylish restaurant with a great roof terrace. Great service, very good food and a great selection of drinks. I was there several evenings during my business trip and have to say that I have never seen this quality of location anywhere else in rural areas. The apartments below are also highly recommended.

The best thing about Okyo is the staff. Without exception, the service staff are all very friendly and courteous; you immediately feel welcome. 😊

Unfortunately our visit was not as hoped. A table (!) for four people was previously booked via Open Table. When we were asked if we wanted something to eat and said no, we were "left" at the bar. When I pointed out that I had explicitly booked a table seat (which had to be explicitly selected in the app), we were informed that these seats would be reserved for guests who would like to eat something. Strangely enough, some guests were at the bar and also ate food there. As you can imagine, having a conversation with four people in a row at the bar is almost impossible. It would be better if you had to specify in the app before booking whether you just wanted something to drink or something to eat and then the available places would be displayed on this basis.

We were there for breakfast on a Saturday. We were looking forward to the really great and delicious breakfast buffet. Unfortunately this hasn't happened for 3 weeks. So we ordered breakfast a la carte. The majority ordered scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, a really small portion that lay alone on the plate with exactly one slice of toast (€6.50). My husband and I ordered something different. It looked and tasted nice, but the price was really overpriced. For a club sandwich and a roll with salad, ham and poached eggs, 2 coffees and a juice 42€!

A little more expensive, but also something special.

The ambience of the restaurant is extremely cozy and tastefully decorated. It creates an atmosphere that makes the evening particularly pleasant. The combination of comfort and stylish design gives the Okyo an inviting charm. I was particularly impressed by the espresso – it was of outstanding quality and taste. Okyo is definitely a treat for coffee and wine lovers. Overall, my experience at Okyo was outstanding and I look forward to returning soon.

Mein Besuch im Okyo war rundum fantastisch. Der Service war herausragend, geprägt von Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit. Mein Rinderfilet wurde perfekt zubereitet, genau wie ich es mir gewünscht hatte – ein wahrer Genuss. Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist äußerst gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es schafft eine Atmosphäre, die den Abend besonders angenehm gestaltet. Die Kombination aus Gemütlichkeit und stilvollem Design verleiht dem Okyo einen einladenden Charme. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich auch der Espresso – er war von herausragender Qualität und Geschmack. Für Kaffeeliebhaber ist das Okyo definitiv ein Genuss. Insgesamt war mein Erlebnis im Okyo herausragend, und ich freue mich schon darauf, bald wiederzukommen.

Elegant ambience and very tasty food.

Wir waren heute das erste mal zu dritt in diesem Restaurant. Wir haben nur etwas getrunken. Viel positives gibt es nicht zu berichten. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich jedoch extrem verpeilt. Wir haben fast 45 Minuten auf die nochmals angeforderte Getränkekarte gewartet. Wir haben dann nichts mehr bestellt sondern direkt bezahlt und sind gegangen. Die Preise sind definitiv zu hoch und nicht gerechtfertigt für einige Getränke. Das ambiente ist toll, die Musik wurde zu später Stunde zu laut und jedes Lied klang gleich.

Die Location an sich ist sehr schick und der Service super. Das Essen ist aber seinen Preis echt nicht wert. Sowohl Abendessen als auch das Frühstücksbuffet. Dieses bestand aus Aufbackbrötchen, Wurst und Käse waren nicht gekühlt. Süßes gab es grad mal ein Schokocroissant. Müsli gab's nur mit Joghurt, nicht Mal Milch war vorhanden. Für den Preis echt wenig Auswahl. Das was es gab, war halt dafür "fancy", Drachenfrüchte, Wasabifrischkäse usw.

War mit meiner Frau letzte Wochenende essen und es war Super lecker, und absolut empfehlenswert!Die Bedienung war hervorragend... uns hat meistens Marco bedient. Wir wurden super freundlich aufgenommen und ein Platz wurde für uns organisiert. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ambiente: War sehr schön, jedoch werden dir Pflanzen teilweise nicht gegossen oder verenden an Wurzelfäule. Da blutet mein Herz als Pflanzenmutti. Service: War in Ordnung, könnte jedoch besser sein. Waren wirklich sehr nett, aber haben leider sehr selten gefragt "ob alles in Ordnung ist". Ich habe einen sehr sehr heißen Brownie bekommen, ich habe meine Zunge fast bzw. teilweise leicht verbrannt. Hätte ich mir denken können, jedoch wäre eine Info gut gewesen. Essen: Das Sushi war schön angerichtet. War eine gute Portion (2 Rollen und 3 Nigiris). Jedoch die Handarbeit war unterirdisch und Geschmacklich war es auch nur Mittelmaß. Ich dachte es würde ein Sushi Meister alle drei Monate kommen ... Dafür das alles so teuer ist, ist das Essen Mittelmaß. Die Getränke fand ich wiederum Top! Also wirklich nur zum Trinken und zum Schnacken gut.

Mega tolle Location - einzigartiges Ambiente, leckeres Essen und sehr aufmerksamer, herzlicher Service. Zudem ist das OKYO eine "altersgerechte" Alternative um ein Marktplatzkonzert ganz entspannt zu erleben - sich verwöhnen zu lassen und zu genießen, so wie gestern Abend. Ganz große Klasse, Dankeschön!

Wir waren heute im OKYO. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend. Die Antipasti war lecker und die Gnocchi mit Salsiccia sensationell. Der Service war sehr gut und man hat sich sehr um uns gekümmert.

Super schöne Location, freundliche Bedienung und tolle Aussicht. Während weitere Restaurants uns kurz vor 22 Uhr kein Essen mehr anbieten wollten bzw. schließen wollten, war es hier gar kein Problem. Das Essen - vorallem der Fisch und der Salatteller mit Garnelen - war ausgezeichnet. Wir kommen hier sehr gerne wieder her. Da wir eine Gruppe mit 10 Leuten waren wurde extra einen Tafel für uns hergerichtet.

Eine sehr coole moderne roof top bar. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und hat einen tollen Flair. Wir waren nur für drinks in der Bar. Somit kann ich nicht viel bezüglich dem Essen sagen. Fand nur die Preise etwas hoch. Die drinks waren ganz gut. Einige waren klasse, andere wiederum sehr sauer. Ist Geschmackssache. Als wir darauf hingewiesen haben, dass die drinks sehr sauer sind. War der Barkeeper nicht sehr erfreulich und das hat man ihm angesehen, da die Bar sichbar ist. Fand ich persönlich etwas unprofessionell. Der Service war unterschiedlich. Teilweise waren einige girls die uns bedient haben sehr freundlich. Andere hingegen kamen mir persönlich sehr unmotiviert vor. Alles in allem fand ichdie Lokation klasse und ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Sehr gehobenes Ambiente inmitten in Balingen, macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck welcher sich an der gehobenen Speisen fortsetzt. Der Laden war ruhig aber nicht still. Es lief passende Musik zur Themenwoche. Das Personal war insgesamt sehr freundlich und Serviceorientiert. Die Speisen sind hochpreisig aber unter Berücksichtigung der Qualität absolut angemessen. Sicherlich kein Restaurant für jeden Tag, doch wann immer man etwas mehr als nur „etwas essen“ will eine Überlegung wert.
