A fantastic country bakery. Everything is still made by hand here, resulting in a great taste and an even longer shelf life. I can throw away the pastries I buy from 95% of bakeries in the morning because they're no longer edible. The bread I buy from Haasis Bakery still tastes good three days later, and even then, it's nowhere near as dry as it is after just a few hours from other bakeries. I'm glad bakeries like this still exist.

Stadtmühle 1The restaurant is located a bit off the beaten path in a quiet location and is beautifully decorated. You're greeted warmly as soon as you enter – the hospitality and ambiance are a big plus. We arrived right at opening time, which might explain why it was a little chilly at our table. The menu is very well explained, and you can also get a good impression of the dishes from their Instagram page. Food and drinks arrived quickly, the selection is exceptional, and the food is delicious. The khinkali could have been presented with a bit more care, and the appetizers could have used a touch more seasoning. All in all, it was a very pleasant evening with good food – a bit pricey and lacking that certain something extra, but still highly recommended.
